Okay, so everyone (or at least I hope everyone) knows that the new series starts this time next week. So, what's everyone doing to prepare themselves for the big day?

I've been collecting together all of my Doctor Who stuff and have gradually been moving it into the living room. I've also been attempting not to yell out '7 days' whenever I see another example of human life. Yeh, I'm weird.

ETA: This is now where you can discuss your thoughts and opinions about upcoming episodes.

Heh, you should jump in front of humans and say "THE WORLD SHALL BE REBORN IN SEVEN DAYS!"

Yes I should, that would be excellent. And none of my friends would find that weird coming from me either.

I'm really annoyed now though. My parents just happened to forget to mention we've got tickets to the theatre next saturday night. And I can't not go because it's the play I'm doing for my Drama GCSE. Luckily, the performance starts at 8, so I can watch the first 20 minutes at least, 30 minutes if all my stuff is ready before we go (Thank God I'm not taking the bus into town.) I'll have to video the rest so I can watch it when I get back, otherwise I'd have to wait until Sunday afternoon.

Poor you!!! Next week, when the new Doctor Who is on, i would probably stop EVERYTHING i was doing just to watch it, and i would tape it as well!!! blaugh xd sweatdrop

Normally I'd give up everything and record it, and if I couldn't not give up something I'd take our portable TV with me and spend half an hour finding a decent signal and watch it then. The TV is on our boat at the moment though, and I don't think my dad will drive me there just to get it. And I really can't not go.

I'm going to have to find a tape with stuff I don't want anymore on.

Yeah, i had the same problem with tapes about a few days ago, i leave all my recorded tapes in my Dad's room, so i had to tell him to buy some new tapes ready for my next taping.

I'll probably tape Nothanger Abbey and then stuff with John Barrowman + Doctor Who, and then the series 3 episodes of Doctor Who!!! sweatdrop blaugh xd

I got loads of new tapes beginning of last year, but now they've all got old episodes of Doctor Who and Torchwood on them, so I can't tape over them. I'm going to have to run into Sainsburys tomorrow after church while my Mum's not looking and buy somemore.

What'll I be doing? Sitting online waiting for the torrent to be uploaded...then try not to read spoilers while it downloads sweatdrop

I don't even know if ABC is going to recommission Doctor Who for us in Aussie land this year...there's been no word yet. But if they do, we probably won't see it on tv until July, like last year. Which is just far too long to wait.
And channel 10 got Torchwood.

At least we have the internet. smile
