I was just wondering if anyone thought like me, and believed dragons are real. If you disagree with me or you just want to learn more about dragons go to this website http://www.colba.net/~tempest/ and watch the movie, Dragons: a fantasy made real. If you can't access either one just pm me and I can tell you a lot about dragons, and if you have a question about them I will do my best to answer, or look for the answer. Just pm me or post here.

I do not beeleive in dragons any longer, ever since my 3rd grade teacher told me they weren't real. However, their fantasy and way that they are used in books are very interesting.
((P.S. I can't access that link))

I'm sorry, but I'm a kind of guy who thinks logically saying, "Dragons are not real" things since there have been proofs of its non existence. When fossils were found of ancient dinosaurs (including the flying ones) they believed that those old dinosaurs were vicious flying creatures. They were later termed as 'Dragons'. As time passed by many stories were made and thus dragons evolved, including their ability to breathe fire. Dragons had then found their place in the Su Ling (mystic creatures). The creatures were Suzaku (Phoenix), Byaku (White tiger), Genbu (Black turtle) and of course Seiryuu (Bragon) due respect to directions for south, west, north and east. xd But inspite of it being a fictional creature I do find it quite interesting. It's one of my favourite mythical beast. I love to sketch it, read it, watch it, chew it ('Dragon chocolates' mrgreen ) and lots more. scream Hope you like em too!!

They made a program in Discovery Channel a while back. Not sure if that was the right channel. But point is, it's still amazing how in every civilization they depicted dragons in some form or the other. Still, I think dragons are cool and would be half scared to death to be face to face with one... sweatdrop

I believe they existed at one point or another, but for whatever reason, aren't here anymore. this can be disputed by the lack of fossil evidence, but keep in mind most species that have ever existed on earth were probably never fossilized.
whee I loved Dragons: a fantasy made real.
confused The Movie Eragon makes me hurt in the deeper regions of my soul. the book was cool though 3nodding

Still, I think dragons are cool and would be half scared to death to be face to face with one... sweatdrop I never thought of that but if every race on earth has heard of them through myths or something then this could tell us they maybe used to be real, or raise the question. Usually things of the supernatural can be lies told to a few people who tell some more and then it gets published in a ghost book or something and the whole nation knows, But not the whole world. Everyone 3+ knows of dragons whatever they call them. So every race has its own story behind it. These could be several dragon sitings passed down through generations till knowone believes anymore because they weren't told by the first hand person. e.g. Ireland (were i live) everyone believes in Banshees. But i bet knowone outside of Ireland would belive..or even no what they are. Who knows? maybe theres so many storys because dragons flew all round the world. Wow this is my first post of many in this guild and i talked a load of illiterate s**t xp

They are one of my favorite mythical creatures... but I like phoenix better. The Dragonriders of Pern are a sci-fi series with dragons in it, and it's great...
