Of Democates and Republicans! I wanna new party some the along the lines of a "Common Sense Party" One that was focused on gettting things done and on the American people. Not there own vainity projects or corrup way of making millions for themselves and friends.

It is a nice thought but sadly it will never happen because there is a simple equation here power leads to corruption sooner or later in every case

I would vote for that party, but like Rotis said it will probably never happen. We can always dream though. Speaking of pet projects, did any one watch that special on 20/20? It was about pet projects and how much of your tax money goes into stupid stuff. It was cool. This one republican senator is working with Obama to create a website that tracks just how our money is being used. They say once people know, more of the needless spending will stop. Let's hope.

Well, it's never all going to stop, but if a good majority of it stopped or at least was cut back, something tells me our medicare and other health issues would be on the right track to being stopped. I think I just opened another can of worms with the medicare stuff didn't I? sweatdrop

I think that that website will be help stop the spending only if people CARE. All of the adults I have ever tried to talk to about politics have had no interest in the subject. I think that very few people would spend the time necessary to go on and double-check the govt.'s spending.
