Its when a band plays a song originally played by another artist, in Apocalypticas case they play alot of Metallica songs live and recorded an album of them. Its often the band that the band have been influenced by.....
Here is a list of the covers I could think of off the top of my head that Apocalyptica play;

4. Welcome Home (Sanitarium) ]
5. Nothing Else Matters ]

12. Wherever I May Roam ]
13. Enter Sandman /
14. Seeman - Rammstein
15. Angel Of Death - Slayer
16. Inquisition Symphony - Sepultura (or so I believe)
17. In The Hall Of The Mountain King - Edvard Grieg
Phew lol I think thats all. Actually it would be interesting to see if there any I left out ^^

I like the Metallica covers allot, but "Hall of the Mountain King" is my favorite cover of them 3nodding

Edward_Rose Nockz Does anyone actually like inquisition Symphony? cuz i cant say i do I like it, but the live sounds much better, and with drums I agree ^^ I saw the one from the DVD on youtube and I must admit it is alot cooler than other versions that I have seen

mmmm.. this is a diffcult question..
all the covers are awesome. but, i guess the one i like the most, is Seeman, form Rammstein and next to it would be Nothing else Mathers form Metallica.
also, Refuse-Resist from sepultura is a very good cover, you can actually hear a voice coming from the strings singing the song, is out of this world!
