Injured and exhausted, Yin found his rest on a soft patch of grass placed in the open field. Knowing he was weak and under guard, he enjoyed the knowledge of if someone was coming up to him or not by the vastness of the valley. Laying his head down to rest he twitched an ear with the sounds of the forest behind him. Keeping his attention focused, it took almost an hour before he slipped away into a deep slumber.

He awoke hours later, fully rested and relaxed. Looking around the field once again he saw a bird fly out of the forest's canopy. The night sky fell over the valley and never left, it was a wonderful and peaceful place for him to claim territory. Lowering his head to lick a wound, Yin heard a sound from the forest's entrance and jolted his head and complete attention towards it. Cautious and willing to battle once again he waited for the cause of the sound to emerge and show itself to him.

Erebus quietly made her way through the forest with hope of finding a comfortable spot near the water. She tried to step as carefully as she could around the fallen branches and leaves. It was a failed attempt as one of her hooves snapped a twig in half. The peace was ruined due to that noise and she just gave up on trying to be as silent as possible.

She peered around at her surroundings, trees everywhere and nothing but the moon's light to guide her. It was dark and peaceful in the pack she chose and it was just as she liked it. Her dark hues had already grown use to the darkness of the valley and she had also memorized most of the territory. It was a beautiful place to her and it was somewhere she could relax and have alone time whenever she needed it.

The dark colored female made her way around trees and down upon the ground. She couldn't help but make some noises due to her front hooves. Her back feet were normal paws but she happened to be a cross breed and that altered her alleles a bit.

Erebus finally saw the lake that she had aimed for but it was still a ways off. Her black and dark red ears suddenly shot back as the sound of pinions could be heard. She looked up quickly to see a bird flying above but it was only a glimpse. There was a moments pause before she moved since the bird had startled her. She then moved slowly to try and regain her pace. Just as soon as she was close to exiting the forest, her hoof came down on another twig, which gave off a loud crack.

"Great," she mumbled to herself.

The female Ulaya caught a sign of movement ahead of her that she would not have spotted if it had not been for the movement. She squinted her eyes slightly but they soon turned wide as she recognized whom it was that moved. It was the leader of the pack of which she joined. Her body was still for a second but she gave a reassuring smile to the god.

"It's me, Erebus," she stated calmly.

If she hadn't noticed the movement then there was a chance that the god might've mistaken her for an attacker. She gave out a deep breath as the realization hit her but he would've known her as soon as she exited the forest, right?

Giving the Ucolian a silent nod of recognition, he scanned his gaze around the fields to make sure there weren't any real intruders in his territory. Keeping his focus on one particular spot for a long while and then watching everywhere else afterwards, Yin had a nervous attitude to himself but never faltered in keeping relaxed. Fear and stress is what he was most comfortable with for he shed it upon many Ulayas around. Giving a confident blink he looked back over to Erebus and watched her for a little while.

The blood dripped from an open wound on Yin's right shoulder, making the muscles twitch with the dripping feel on his skin. Flicking an ear and then tending back to his wounds he closed his eyes and sighed. "Where are the others I wonder." He said, his voice had a raspy tone and was low and chilling for anyone who wasn't used to hearing it. He didn't like the pack's land not being watched over with all the eyes of the membered Ulayas at all times. His stomach rumbled for he had been waiting a while for the hunting group to return with their dinner.

Erebus noticed that the male gave her a nod as he knew who she was. Her dark red hues studied his movements to see what was bugging him due to his ever moving eyes. The female looked over in the spot he seemed to study for a long time and squinted her eyes slightly to see if there were any small shapes hidden in the darkened valley. There seemed to be nothing to her and she hoped that her eyes didn't lie.

Her ears remained alert as she looked back towards the dark colored god and noticed that he was wounded. The blood was still fresh on his right shoulder and she was about to say something but decided against it since she knew what he had been up to. Erebus listened to the open thought of the Ulaya and gave what would seem a small frown. It was true, where were the other members of the pack? She wondered on whether or not to answer his question with her own answer but it wouldn't be good enough.

"I'm not sure, I haven't seen any of the other members as of yet," she replied in a calm, gentle tone.

She took on a surprised expression as the Undulcan god's stomach rumbled. The dark colored female wiped it off as quickly as it came and looked towards the valley once more. Perhaps in a minute or two the hunting pack would appear with their prey between their teeth.

Sighing, Yin gave a rather large yawn and then eyed the water hole. He licked his lips and debated to himself if he really wanted to get up for a sip or not. A cool breeze flowed through the tall grass and brushed the fur of the dark God Ulaya, giving him a slight chill up his back. He sighed once again and turned his focus to the woods nearest to them. Keeping a fixed gaze and straight expression on the dark woods, a black figure shifted some bushes. Turning an ear behind him he heard another body emerge from the shadows. "Finally." He thought to himself as he went back to his own little world.

Shifting his weight, Yin stood and looked down at Erebus. His right paw helled off the ground he limped his way over to the water and away from the red and black Ucolian, leaving her to herself. He padded across the field and took his place next to the water's edge. Laying down in a less gracefully manor, Yin reached out and began to drink the cool liquid. Looking back up at the activity behind him he swallowed his mouth full, letting the cool water flow down his throat.

Erebus took heed to the other's sighing and kept her calm expression seeing as the male was most likely fine. Her black, highlighted with red, tail moved in the direction of the wind that blew their way. She moved her ears so that she appeared to be calmer than she was. The dark female no sooner relaxed than when she heard the rustling of bushes.

Her dark red optics moved to the right as if to spot another creature but it wasn't possible. The fact that it came from behind her had startled her a bit but the god's lax mood made her stay where she was. If he didn't react violently then it was okay. Being new to the pack, she didn't have the feel as most of the others did. The dark valley was peaceful though and it also held a serene blanket over it. She looked behind the male to see a silhouette of a Ulaya come into view and decided that the other was in the pack.

Soon the undulcan god left towards the lake, leaving Erebus by herself. She gave a small frown at this but kept to herself about it and decided he had his own routine in which to keep to. The crossbreed decided that she wouldn't bother Yin anymore with her presence and waited for the shapes to become more visible before she would address them.

Akumu entered the field and instantly looked over to Erebus to make sure she wasn't an intruder. Keeping her ears back and aware she slowly padded onto the grassy plains and glanced over to Yin who had taken up a spot by the water hole. She looked back over to the Ucolian who's back was turned to her and wondered if she was aware of her coming forth. Scanning the field once more, Akumu climbed up the small hill and sat next to Erebus.

Watching the forest before her, she saw another one emerge from the thick trees and put her ears forward to focus all attention to him. Realizing that she knew the strange Ulaya she laid down in the grass and waited for his approach to her and the younger Ucolian.

Houndour sat in the black of the trees for a little while for he was most comfortable in their protected shelter. Beside him laid a couple of wild hares he had caught on his journey back to the pack's field. Keeping himself covered in the woods he watched the other three go about their happenings without him. When the dark god caught his eye he noticed the wound and sighed. Taking the hares in his fanged mouth he slowly walked out of the dark woods and up to the three hungry Ulayas awaiting his arrival.

The grass felt soft on his rough paws as he paced himself to the center of the open area. He was so used to the wood's ground that he was uncomfortable on the grassy land and showed it with his walk. Reaching the other two he leaned down and placed the meaty dinner on the ground. Looking back up at the starry god he waited for him to return from his refreshing drink and assure them it was okay to eat.

Yin was quite glad to see the other two joining the pack at this moment in time. He was starting to feel unsafe in his current state and wanted to just lay down and sleep the rest of the night away. Standing up he limped his way back over to the other three before Houndour met him half way and let the wounded Undulcan lean on him as they walked. Reaching their desired place, Yin took his weight off Houndour and laid back down next to Erebus. Picking out one of the hares he began tearing into it and eating all of the meat he could get ahold of.

Looking back up at the other three, who had taken their time to watch him eat, he nodded towards Akumu and sat up. Taking the hare in his jaws, Yin stumbled his way out of the grouping and laid under a tree to finish his food in peace and silence. He glanced back to the others every so often to watch them eat their part of dinner and then back to his own food.

Lost. No, Thona just found himself wondering onto this lovely land. Dark, and cold, just how he liked it. Peaceful and beautiful. His stealthful skills made it hard to hear him as he continued his walk. Tail low to the ground making little movement as possible.

His eyes were good in the dark, seeing how he could see better at night then day. It was wonderful. He loved it. The sun was always hurting his eyes, and the annoying bunch of Ulaya's found themselves in the day time.

He came to a sudden stop. Hearing voices, he listened as carefully as he could. He had been listening for awhile, and they had not yet noticed him. Or if they had, they hadn't made any effort to point it out. It seemed like this was some sort of pack.

Thona, being very interested kept as still as he could. He didn't know how many were there, only hearing two voices. Though, they made it sound like there was more coming. He sat down to listen farther.

Thona could smell the blood off one of them. It was very strong, and had a different smell the most Ulaya he'd run into. Could it be this one was the god? Injured? It wasn't unheard of, but only other gods could hurt gods. Or that's what he believed.

He didn't know if he should show himself. He wasn't fearful that they would attack, he just didn't want to ruin his hunting style. It would put a few days back of his pray that he'd been following lately. Though, with them here and the smell of a god in the area would be enough to scare off anything.

Akumu licked her jaws as she finished her portion of dinner. Stretching with a long yawn she stood up and looked over to the star marked god. "I'll be off to bed." She turned around and started her way towards the forest where Thona had been hiding. Walking quietly with her paws on the soft grass she approached the forest's entrance and noticed the strange Ulaya there before her. Unsure of what to do she just sat there and watched Thona from afar. She didn't care if the rogue Ulaya knew she saw him or not, she wanted to keep her eyes on him to see if there was danger to be alerted or not.

Thona heard a new voice. So there was more then just the two. Said something about leaving, so there is only two left, that he heard. Not seeing that she was coming his direction since his head was to the ground with his ears up. His tail began to flick a little. He hadn't really met any other Ulaya around this part, but most of the ones he did had no tail like his own.

Finally he decided he should move closer. Standing up as careful as he could he took a step closer to where the voices had come from. This time, he did see the female.

Not sure if this was good or bad, he stopped in his tracks and just staired back at her. It wasn't fear that stopped him. Sure he had been caught, but why was she not alerting the others? Isn't that what they were suppose to do? He raised an eyebrow and grinned slightly.

Tilting her head some she took a couple steps backwards so she was out of the woods and in the clearing, visible for Houndour to see if any trouble should occur. "What are you doing on the land of the Mwezi pack?" She poised herself in a defensive stance and watched the other Ulaya's movements as close as she could. Being the guardian of the pack it would be her job to defend the territory from any intruders that prove to be a threat. Twitching her ear some, Akumu drove her claws into the ground for more grip.

Thona still had a pretty evil grin on his face. Should he test her, or should he just pretend to be a traveler? He liked the idea of toying with her a bit, but if he did anything too bad, she'd certainly call forth her pack. "Oh? Meezi was it?" He said it wrong on purpose. He casually walked closer. His tail was now flicking low to the ground.

He kept a small eye on here. "What type of pack is it?" He asked. Truely hoping it wasn't going to be some goodie-goodie too-shoe pack. They made him sick. His face stayed calm, relaxed, yet cautious.

Raising her chin as the Ulaya walked towards her she stepped one foot back further and replied "The Mwezi pack. It stand for moon pack, for the dark hearted and lonely creatures of the night." She stood her ground and stepped forward a couple steps, showing that she would be defensive to the death. Flicking her ear again she put them back and waited for the Ulaya approaching her to make a move.
