We all have seen them, love them, and hold them dearest to our heart, primarily since they were some of the greatest movies ever made. We will never forget them....

Episode 4 A new hope was a very good movie, even if it had bad special effects? Agree or Disagree?

ANH was, IMO, the best SW and western movie ever made....

I think that the best of the first three was The Empire Strikes Back (I know i culd have abbreviated it but i didn't for emphasis). I think that A New Hope was good, but how often does the bad guy win. Though A New Hope does have nostalgia going for it.

im sorry... I just liked the simplicity of ANH... Plus a bad guy doesn't win in ESB. Good guy just runs away.
Nothing beats the original though...
Although, if it was LOTR....

hell yeah ANH was pimpihn...they blew the frickin deathstar in it...it was aweeeeeesomne..and biggs and wedge were in it and biggs died....it was koool...and dont forget Grand Moff Tarkin!

Empire has always been my favorite...
Seen RotJ waaaaaaaaay too many times...
And sadly, the last one I saw out of the OT was ANH. sweatdrop As in, a good half a year later than the other two.

Most of the people that I know like the ESB the best, a few like ROTJ, and after learning this, I found out that Lucas only directed ANH. He didn't direct ESB or ROTJ.

what...wtf?...no..i had to do a biography on the guy for school, and most of the references said that he directed all 3...what are you talking about?

he directed all three, but ANH he directed by himself... he is also executive producer of the movies as well, i believe...
