I can understand the couple at the beginning release of Xbox 360 breaking down but why are they still breaking down. I'm sending out for my third Xbox and it's only going be like 6 months. Two of my friends 360s just broke too. One guy's first 360 broke. The other guy's third broke. If this pattern continues my 360 is going break after my warranty is gone then I'm out 600 dollars plus probably 600 dollars worth of games.
Can someone explain why Microsoft is still having problems with their consoles after a year?

save up for a new sexy black 360 with hd dvd and 120 gbs! lol err i guess im lucky i havent expereince one problem yet.

I have had my 360 for a while now and it's never given me a problem.

Mine just gets really hot. whee
Not burn you hot, but too much for a console.
So i can only play for an hour or two at a time.
Even so, it still freezes sometimes. Well.. more than sometimes.
But i still like my xbox. 3nodding

pplz, i suggest you all invest in an intercooler. yes it will make your new slik black 360 look like sh**, but still it keeps the thing cool. if not for the intercooler i wouldve taken in my 360 many times by now. when i play for 3 straight hours and i check the temperature, sure its a little warm but not burning hot, not soothing hot, its just, well warm.

I had constant problems with my first one. Non stop lock-ups, it overheated a few times.
I returned it and the one I have now seems to work fine, although some games lock up every once in a while.

I play my 360 for several hours on end, no heating problems. Only problem I've ever had, is that my console eats certain discs while it's vertical. Simple solution, never again will it stand.
