"C'mon Pancakes!" exclaimed Ashe as she held onto the leash that was tied around her bunny's neck. "We have to hurry or else the grocery store might close!" Ruth sent Ashe on an errand to get food from the grocery store, and Ashe didn't want to get home when it was dark, because she was afraid of the dark.
It was already 4 o'clock and Ashe knew that the sun was going to set very soon. "Pancakess!" Ashe whined as she tugged onto the leash. "Hurry up!"
After a few minutes, Pancakes finally started to hop on his way and they finally reached the grocery store. "Okay! What do we need?" exclaimed Ashe as she reached into her overall's pockets to find a neatly folded sheet of paper.
She carefully unfolded the paper and read down the list. "Okay, let's start with the bread!"

Ziya was bouncing around the supermarket happily. He had never been to one before. His parents and his whole caravan lived off the things they had to hand. Animals and some rare vegetables.
His mother however had decided they move into the future and actually try shopping like most other people in Gaia.
He had been looking carefully at some interesting looking fish in the display counter when he heard the cry of pancakes.
Pancakes!? He thought to himself. That sounded really good. So, being naturally curious he wandered away from his mum and off towards the voice.
"Excuse me?" he said, walking up to the little girl and her bunny. "Do you know where the pancakes are?"

Ashe and Pancakes walked to where the breads were, which was located in the back of the supermarket and grabbed a sealed bag of bread and placed it in the basket.
They had to find the cheapest things since her mom only gave her $30. Ashe looked on the list to read what was next and it was milk. She walked a little ways, but on the way there, a boy came up to her and asked where the pancakes were. She immediately thought of her rabbit, Pancakes.
"Pancakes?" Ashe repeated, her rabbit's ears perking up, "I have no idea. I'm sorry. But my rabbit's name is Pancakes!"
"Oh, and I'm Ashe! I live across the street! How about you?" she asked curiously.

Ziya looked between the rabbit and the girl and gave her a sheepish smile.
"Ahhh." he said, everything making sense. She had been calling the name of her pet. "Sorry, i thought someone was giving away free pancakes. My name's Ziya, I don't live across the street." he grinned and crouched down to pet her bunny. "Are you shopping on your own?"

"No, sorry, no free pancakes here! I wish there was though!" she said with a frown.
"Anyways, where do you live then? In the desert?" Ashe said, sarcastically.
Pancakes was happy when Ziya petted him and let out a small 'Squee.'
"But yeah, Mommy trusts me to shop on my own. I want to hurry though because I'm afraid of the dark and I don't want to go home when theres no light! Even if I live a few minutes away from here...Also I might lose Pancakes in the dark!"
"Is this your first time in the grocery store? Cuz' I haven't seen you around before!"

"Yeah, i do actually." Ziya said, smirking at her and raising an eyebrow. "It's about an hour away from here, we came by horse." He folded his arms and lookd at the little girl again, she certainly looked interesting.
"I've been to smaller ones before, but this is my first time in a big store." He shrugged and looked out the window at the sky.
"Why are you scared of the dark?" he asked bluntly. "It can't hurt you!"

"Sewiously?! I want a horsie! A pretty pretty ponyyy!" Ashe exclaimed, getting all excited again, accidentally choking Pancakes.
"Erk..." squealed Pancakes.
"Ack! Pancakes I'm sorry!" she said loosening her grip on the leash.
"But why do you live in a desert? It's so far away and its always hot and there's icky camels...!!" Ashe said with a confused expression on her small face.
Ashe continued to walk since she wanted to get all the food she needed before the sun was gone. She gestured to Ziya to walk with her to get milk. As she was walking, holding onto Pancakes, and pushing a cart she continued the conversation. "Well you never know whats lurking in the DARKNESS! Cuz one time I saw this cartoon, and then this one girl was walking alone in the dark, and then this big, slimy monster attatcked her and slobbered it's simly goo all over her! It was DISGUSTING!"

Ziya raised an eyebrow and smirked at the rather demanding little girl.
"Camels aren't yucky." he said with a smile, following her happily around the supermarket. "They are very useful. They don't need to drink you know. For days. And, it's only hot if you sit outside all day." He shrugged and grinned across the frozen food aisle. "I like the warm."
He laughed about her reasons for not liking the darkness and shook his head.
"There's no such thing as monsters." he said, folding his arms. "I can walk back with you if you want. To make sure?"

"The only reason why I like the warm is becuase then I can tan my already-beautiful skin! Cuz it HAS to be perfect!" Ashe bragged. But when Ziya offered to walk her home, a wide grin grew on her face as she excitedly agreed. "YES...TOTALLY! Then you can protect my beautiful-ness from the evil that lurks i the shadows!"
Since Ashe now knew that someone would be there to protect her, she didn't go that fast as to buying what she needed to buy. So she once again got out the list and she looked down to see what she needed next. The list said to get fruits next. So Ashe started to walk torwards the produce section. Ruth wanted her to buy strawberries, watermelons, apples, oranges--the Cutie kind-- and of course grapes!
"I needa go to the fruits section Ziya! Wanna come along?" she said happily.

Ziya laughed at her antics and nodded as they made their way to the fruit section. She was cute, in a potentially irritating little sister way. For the moment though he found her amusing and was quite flattered at the thought of being able to play hero on the way home.
"What do you like to do for fun?" he asked her as they walked past all the interesting types of fruit. "I like to make sand castles, and collect shiney things. Oooh and ride horses. They're lots of fun!"

Ashe reached the produce section and scrambled around to grab the fruits in order that they appeared on the list, no matter how far or close the specific fruits were from each other.
As Ashe picked up the last fruit, she answered Ziya's question, along with taking out the list that her mom gave her. "Hmmmm that's a hard question! I like to do lotsa things! Like playing princess! Or...playing Damsel in Distress! Noah usually comes and saves me, only cuz I make him! But i also like to ride ponies and ride unicorns and and--"
But Ashe stopped mid-sentence as she read what was written next on the grocery list and started to drool. "Cookies...." she said as she fantasized about jumping into a big pile of chocolate chip cookies. "Yummy~~~ I LUB COOKIES!"
