Hmmm... I don't exactly understand how that would work, I see what you're saying. Try, yes, you'll know if it work if you try it.

AP is more of a passive thing. You could try being more active in it, but I'm not sure how that'll work out for you.

hm... maybe while the body is falling asleep move your energy outside of your body and work with it there so your mind is active and will be active long after your body falls asleep?

That's one way of achieving the necessary state I guess. Doesn't seem that different from the usual visualizations though.

That's one way of achieving the necessary state I guess. Doesn't seem that different from the usual visualizations though. what usual visualizations? Rope climbing, rocking, etc. All of it is a form of externalization which I imagine is similar to what you're talking about with moving your energy out of your body. My concern is that by forcibly doing it you might cause some bodily tension which would work against you. That's mainly why it's a passive process; it's hard to force something like that when forcing only makes it harder to accomplish.

CabrionDeluviant oh good point. but you dont have to tense up to use energy You don't *have* to, but that's usually what happens. With lots of practice you could probably keep yourself from tensing or moving. It's often involuntary.

Crowley says to sit down, be quiet, close your eyes, and try to look around with your eyes closed.

Causing the vibration isn't how it's done =P, the vibration of the body and the opening of it's pores is simply one of the last feelings you get before you project, and generally when I freak out and say "******** this". lol!

Stimulating the energy body does help increase your probability of having a exit occurrence. If I remain relaxed through it, I have had much more success if I raise some energy before heading to bed than without (looking at this in type seems a lot naughtier than I intended it!) Info provided from a book from this guy. If you get past the "look, this something shiny will change your life" marketing, some of the energy developing techniques are some of the best instructional stuff I've seen. Thank goodness I ran into it on one of those less cynical days.
