Lirye is always under nightfall. Home to a lot of the small lycanthropes it isn't really someplace an unarmed person would want to walk through. Alot of The War Of The Gods took place here.

Amara was kneeling down and picking the roots of a thin wiry bush that shown little white flowers blossoming on the outside. The plant was very weak as it already had been and harvesting the roots served to be a relatively easy task for her as long as she was careful not to kill the plant overall, which could only be accomplished by uprooting the main branch. Amara's hands were scratched and wounded from the thorns of various other plants that she had claimed valuable spoils from. But the blood mattered not to her because she seemed to act normal even with dirt infected her wounds. She would be using many of these plants in her medicines and panaceas that she sold on the market for a fair price.

Dyil set foot in Lirye, his forepaws lightly making contact with the ground first, followed by his hind paws. For a place where the greatest war in the history of the ages took place, you'd expect it to be totally wrecked. If it hadn't been restored, that's just what it would've been. He began walking down a path in the vast jungle that was Lirye, looking slightly left and right now and again as he strolled. You'd never be able to tell a war happened here had you not been there yourself. He thought to himself. The night was rather quiet and the air was a bit damp with the perpetual evening's dew. Dyil took note of some plants that seemed different than the rest around them; they had been handled by someone for some means to an end, but it was hard to tell as it had been done carefully. Whoever had done it was an expert. And whoever did this is still nearby. He thought to himself. Walking over to one of the said plants, he noticed that the portion of it that had been taken wouldn't leave it to die, but it would take a fair while to recover. Closing his eyes, Dyil blew lightly on the plant, restoring the roots and leaves that had been taken to their former glory. He turned away and continued down the path, keeping his ears sharp to noises around him. Being a god, he didn't have to worry about anything, really. He couldn't harm living creatures and they couldn't harm him. God as he was, he was still a fox, meaning he still had a keen sense of sight, hearing, and especially smell...and what he smelled was lycan nearby; to be expected, though, since Lirye had become the home of many of the smaller lycan races since the war.

The crunch of a small leaf signaled to Amara that someone coming and they weren't too far off from what she could hear. Her ears twitched with another sound of the next step and from that information heard she could determine the pace of the creature of being that was near, Amara dropped the root and dashed into the bushed with such swift, agile speed that even the sound of her steps could be heard upon the ground in a silent, yet tender way. She was watchful from behind the bushed and she drew one of her blades at the ready for possible protection from whatever it was that was that came her way.

Leaves on trees, bushes and other plants rustled in the light breeze that blew through the night in Lirye, so it's no surprise that he could've missed the ever-so-slight sound of something slipping into the bushes. The breeze carried with it the many smells of the exotic plants and other flora of Lirye, an intoxicating scent which was but one thing that drew many to this place. Dyil ceased walking and sat on his haunches, looking up into the night sky, and to the many stars that dotted it, his fiery red body giving off it's own hazy glow in the evening air. I can't remember the last time I actually looked up at the sky rather than down on it. He thought almost wearily.

Amara crawled carefully on the ground keeping low with the bushes to see what exactly was coming. She used her nails to gently move a single leave out of the way so that she may see the creature. Her eyes remained the same nor did her face change in reaction to the beast that she had been in the proximity of. Amara would have never thought to see a god anywhere near her, or even dream of one for that matter. She looked in awe of the beast for a few moments and then whirled around so that her back was to the bushes.
This was one of those moments where she had no care nor the heart to praise a divine figure that she had seen and convey the tale without being mocked for it in the end. Her sin had put her in no position to ask for redemption from the gods.

The breeze lightly waved against his fur, sending short ripples through it as he pulled in his wings, feeling slightly chilled. Dyil took a deep breath, never removing his gaze from the small blazes of light that hung in the blue-black sky. "The night sky is remarkable tonight..." He said aloud, then quirked his head ever-so-slightly in the direction of the bushes, "...wouldn't you agree?" Although seeming to be talking to no one in particular, Dyil knew who he directed his question at. The perpetual nightfall in Lirye was unusually calming to him, and despite the fact that he was a god, he could never figure out why.

Amara walked cautiously from out behind the bushed she slowly walked towards the god and kept a good 12 feet away from him in case he were to trick her into something that might lead to her end. She was very prudent in the way she walked towards him, like a child willing to steal sweets after nightfall, like the ground was made of glass. Amara looked up at the sky and blinked twice. All she saw were tiny specs of glitter scattered amongst a great sky of dark blue. She could see no pleasure in looking at such a thing, but there were actually some that were comforted by the great sky above. She could not tell how this night varied from any other night. And even with this in mind she slightly nodded her head in hopes of that being the correct answer.

"No need to act like you're walking on egg shells." Dyil spoke again. If the gods could be influenced by earthly means, then the night sky was Dyil's. This'll probably be the last time I get to just enjoy the night like this, with Shu's plan in motion. He figured at least the slightest amount of time without being his usual sharp self, as cuddly as a chainsaw, couldn't hurt every once in a while. Things could all go to hell and back if Shu's plan was seen through to the end. "I'm in a...good mood for the time being." A light or 'good' mood usually didn't apply to Dyil. Must be something I ate. He thought humorously to himself.

Amara didn't speak, for the soul purpose that she could not. She walked over to his side thinking that perhaps it was the very perspective of where one stood, had affected their vision of the night sky. She looked up at the sky, once more seeing no change and it still didn't appease her in any way. She couldn't understand why beings were so fixated on the sky. Perhaps they too didn't see anything special in it either and only stared up at it to try to figure out why. Regardless of the given opinion, Amara looked over at the great being and gave him a look that could be read only through her eyes as if she knew something had troubled him.

Dyil couldn't help but grow increasingly annoyed at the fact that he was only hearing his own voice and not another. He lowered his head, finally removing his gaze from the sky. "Why don't you speak?" He said straightforwardly, not one for beating around the bush with leading questions. Also, anyone who has a grasp of common courtesy would know when two people are in a conversation, both usually speak, yet the only who had spoken thus far was Dyil. Turning his head slightly to at least get a quick look at who he had been speaking to, the deity noted that the girl seemed...for lack of some better words, a bit strange. Then again, in the wide world of Joura, what wasn't? The same scent of lycan he had smelt before came from her, he could tell. "Perhaps you can't. Or perhaps you can, but you don't wish to. Or maybe could but lost the ability to. There could be many reasons, I'm sure." Dyil spoke as he brought himself down on the ground with a sort of a dull wumph, his usual motion for lying down, and rested his head on his front paws. When he had wumphed, the ground immediately around him had sprung to life with flowers and other plants that seemed to just spontaneously grow from nothingness. "An open-ended question, to say the least."

It seemed inevitable but, Amara could do nothing but look at the god to give him an answer. She pointed to her neck using her 3 middle fingers on her hand to signify that she cannot speak. She lowered her hand and sat down with him in a respective position with her leg beneath her. One could easily tell that she was frowning even when her face was in a natural position because of the direction her gaze was fixated in and her eyelids seemed to droop in such a way that at first glance she would have seemed tired.

Dyil snorted as he caught her motion telling that she couldn't speak. Dyil, personally, could heal it if it was an affliction, but not would that only be completely out of character for him, it would also go against the law of the gods not interfering with the lives of mortals, but above all...he could tell it wasn't an affliction. Reading her expressions was like reading an open book with big bold text printed in it. She didn't lose the ability to speak, but rather...gave it up. "One does not need words to convey how they are feeling, all the other needs is their eyes." Dyil spoke in a sagely manner. "Something troubles you."

Had she the voice to do so Amara would have scoffed and blamed everything for her troubles but there was nobody to blame for all her misery but herself. She was after all at fault for being who she was, wasn't she? The only way she could hardly speak was by speaking with her eyes. It wasn't easy and not many got the reading correct but it was the only way she could communicate until she could think up a system of speech.
Amara used her hand which was black with dirt, blood both of her own and from someone else. Her hand was otherwise identified as a demon's claw and only contributed to the demon that she was seen as. She drew a picture in the dirt infront of her with her nail. It was a circle that normally represents 'life' or 'everything'. In this case it was everything.

"You're troubled by 'everything'. That's quite the burden to bear." Dyil almost wanted to laugh. There were so many people in the world who thought that the cause of their misery and woe was nothing but the world around them, and those that thought the opposite. "You're troubled by everything and everything's troubled by you. Not the best way to think." Dyil flicked his tail idly. "Even the simplest of children know you are who you are. You're stuck with it. It'll never go away. Some live up to it, some live it down, and some try to hide it." He couldn't remember how many times he'd heard things like this. Over and over. "You're not at fault for being who you are, for dealing with the hand fate dealt you. The world's at fault for failing to realize just that."
