This The Otome world ^^ Prepare yourselves for one hell of a ride
(note: I will do this since ep1 so that the more info you can get the better)

In the distant future, mankind has left Earth. On one planet named Earl, some of the "old technology" has survived in the form of nanomachines that allow young female virgins to take the role of Meister (Pronounced Mai-Star) Otomes - bodyguards and warriors that serve the royalty of various kingdoms. However, not everyone is content to allow the old technology to fade away or go so unused, and there are those who seek it for their own ends, both nefarious and benevolent. This is the setting of My-Otome.
Lands :
Windbloom Kingdom: This is the Main Place of The Otome series. Built Around Fuuka Castle. Advanced in technology. It looks like a very prosperous town also is it the first town the series show you. A mix the old with new. The king and queen died a long time ago. Now in their place is Princess Mashiro Blan of Windbloom.
Artai Principality: This place looks like a mix from europe and china mixed into this place. which is why every character that Hails from this place has a chinese name. Their Ruler Archduke Nagi dai Artai comes often to windbloom to either Piss or make imposible Mashiro's life. But he has some mysterious plans along with his visits.
Aries Republic: This is place is also a mixed country. little is shown of this place like Artai but you can assume that is a mix of United kingdom and United States system of goverment in an European style country. Thus the leader is not the Prime minister but a President. It comes in the Form of Yukino Chrisant, her Otome the Raging Topaz of Jewel Isles (珠洲の黄玉 Suzu no Kōgyoku) Is Haruka Armitage.
Asward: Little is known of this place. except that the people who inhabit it are ruthless and cursed. theyre the lost people from "Black Valley"
Zipang: This place is obvious to be a Japanese kingdom. no mixture whatsoever. tho we seen Artai to of a chinese decsent. In Zipang is clear that this place is all japanese including customs and names The leader or king is Takumi Tokiha but all adress him as Tokiha Takumi no Kami Tadayori. His sister became an Otome but she is lost no one knows her whereabouts. which saddens Takumi.
Cardair Empire: This Place is very European ha similar castles that the ones in germany and Austria. Its king is Argos XIV and his Otome is Fia Gross The Excel Elegance Onyx (塊麗の縞瑪瑙 Kenrei no Shimamenō) Also it seems Kazuya Krau-xeku - A second-year student at Windbloom University, and an heir to one of Cardair's three royal families. is In love with Pearl No.1 Akane Soir
Florince: Name saids it all this is a Pure French Place. including the otome dress which have the colors of the Flag of France. Their king Charles Guinel Roy d'Florince VIII and his otome is Rosalie Claudel the pure heat Malachite (清恋の孔雀石 Seiren no Kujakuishi).
United Kingdom of Lutesia: The only thing known of this kingdom are the otomes.

Carla Bellini (カーラ・ベリーニ Kāra Berīni) - Lutesia Romulus' Otome, the Rumbling Thunder Garnet (雷鳴の柘榴石 - Raimei no Zakuroishi). She was a Coral in the same year as Natsuki and Mai.

Laura Bianchi (ラウラ・ビアンキ Raura Bianki) - Lutesia Remus' Otome, the Flowery Splendour Enstatite (絢爛の頑火輝石 - Kenran no Gankakiseki). She was a Coral in the same year as Natsuki and Mai. She's one of the most popular Otome.
Annan: A mixed culture of China and India. Aside from that it seems the place looks european. The King Nguyen Bao is a very ggod king and His otome and daughter is Anh Lu the Infinite Wisdom Azurite (慧命の藍銅鉱 Emyō no Randōkō).
Garderobe: Apart from being a Huge Campus like college. Is also an apart kingdom by itself. This is the place of all Otome teaching and Training. Also the Council is held here similar to what it looks like U.N. councils. Its Founder the first Otome Fumi Himeno the Pure white Diamond (真白なる金剛石 Mashiro naru Kongōseki) She single-handedly ended the destructive 12 Kingdom War and founded Garderobe. However, during that time, her GEM turned into the "Ultimate Black Diamond" after sensing human despair. Natsuki Kruger - The headmaster of the Otome academy, she was schoolmates with Shizuru, Haruka and Mai. She is #2 of the Five Columns and is known as the Ice Silver Crystal (氷雪の銀水晶 Hyōsetsu no Ginsuishō)

Some things you might want to know
GEM:
The GEM is an acronym which stands for Gerenating Enigmatic Matrix. It is also the gemstone on their earrings. it acts as channeler and a commander. It tells the actions of the robe and sends the nanos to do it. Also this is the certifier of the Otome as with this She can change to her Robe. The commands are shown in a simple computer commands. but they're in fact very complex. Coral and Pearl are mass produced by Garderobe. But Meister GEMs are rare and unique to the user thus the only way to get a meister GEM is by being created at the order of a High Command like kings thus they are also made by Garderobe.

Certification
Certification is the only way that an otome could free her powers for usage. It is a permission granted b the master. If theres no certification no materialization will occur. In Note the master as a ritual says you (Gem name) with my will you will release you power. with this they have to kiss the earing more over the gem so that certification takes effect
Contract
The Contract ah yes. Like the name states this is a form of bind between an Otome and her master. This contract enables to otome to use her powers much like a soldier for a kingdom but to a very personal level.
Those who are bound are Life bound also. Sharing their lives by the contract. It means if the otome hurts the master will hurt. If the Master dies so does the otome. This contract is made willingly thus every otome is teached the compromise and dedication to her master must be valued in her heart.

Mai-Otome Rebirth of the Harmonium
Prologue
It was a dark night in the streets of the Windbloom kingdom. The people Clossing their business as the time to leave came. The wind howling as the time passed by each second. People wandering around in the activities of the night, going to clubs, eating in restaurants, in fact many things were occuring in that exact moment in time. This one was not typical day at Windbloom.
In the corner of an seemingly empty street something was occuring. The atmosphere was thick, wind seemed to be scared of passing through, As two shadowy figures walked on this abandoned alley. Their steps accrued slowly before reaching its destination. A small drab shack with dimmed lights. It had the smell of the slums, the moldy smell of the humid slums. There was no door on the entrance just long and heavy curtain that had the smell of old clothes. The two men entered and inside was another story. A corridor of sorts linked this drab house to the back of a building. without hesitation they both entered.
The place was different most likely the result of constant maintainance. It was a bar still with its dimmed light and soft music. The smell of alcohol and the smoke of cigarettes inpregnated this place as the slowly inspect it with their eyes. Again they walked, the people that was already in stopped what they were doing only to stare to the new commers for a few minutes until they reached the bar counter. They leaned at the counter and whispered some words the tender complied to them as he went to the back door. They seated and began to speak.
Sir, are you sure you want to do this. Last time you..
Soon his words were interrupted by the other male this had a small build and mint green hair but a convicition that no man would bend.

Try as he might the other who appears to be a subordinate of him couldn't stop stammering. He was already tensed as he entered this shady place to begin with, this was probably what he was the preocupied with. slowly the tender came and opened the entrance to the back as he said "Welcome back leader" The smaller guy nodded. His eyes full of excentricity and oddness you would say he is crazy if you didn't know him before.

Inside the shady room there were only a few lights and spread all over leaving patchs of darkness between them. In this patches the was another Siloutte, his hands were the only thing that were visible as they were laying idle on the table. Dark toned strong hands the kind that were in battle years and years, both the small man and the subordinate seated on the opposite side of the table. Then a pause of silence filled the room as if the dark isolated placed wasn't tetric enough. Then the this mysterious figure interruted the thick silence that has filled the room up until now.....
