I was doing sort of a meditation at home, just letting thoughts flow intio my head, and suddenly, I had this one. Could the Veil have a shape, and different thicknesses in certain areas, and be thinner in others? If that is true, the could be why ghosts are more common in certain areas, and why some people hit 'dead zones' of psychic powers. A dead zone is my own name for areas where psychic powers can't be used. I've started to research this a bit more, but can't find anything yet. Anyway, possible? Impossible? Probable, or improbably?

I've heard of areas where no ambient energy is present, but I have never heard of an area where psychic abilities could not be used AND there was an absence of ambient psi. I think that would have to be a deliberate effect created by someone or something, and would require a strong field in that area.
I haven't noticed any barrier that posed a challenge that entities couldn't pass through--there are spirit entities everwhere. There is a Veil, but you dont want to meet the stuff inside it, and I don't think ghosts hang out on the other side. I think it's more likely some areas attract ghosts and spirits due to natural energy features.
Just my personal observations.
