My history honors teacher (high school grade) wrote the following on the board the other day:
I WILL BE CHECKING PLANNERS 7 + 8
While You Answering Questions (pg 134-135).
He left it up there the entire day without noticing the extra -ing, although I think he didn't consider the redundant capitalization and uppercase to be grammatically out of place. Or else, he was just trying to get our attention. *shrug* In any case, I felt like going up to erase the -ing with my finger, it annoyed me so much. Urgh. So much for the top-of-the-realm history teacher, in the process of getting his Masters. *sigh*

Exactamant. And they're in charge of your grade, so even if you do it quietly, they might take out their humiliation on you.

My old english teacher made so many mistakes that he didn't care anymore. And we were an honors class, so we would all correct him constantly, at least 2x a day.
