okies im really bad at coding sweatdrop

well anyways im using divs for my layout, (my teacher at my last course said it was easier) linking and everything is fine ....

its just that when i minimse the window everything seems to stay in the same place meaning to have to scroll to see things .... Since my site is basically in the middle of the page i want to know how you can center it relative to the page .

This is an example of how i have been postioning everything

And in the body is will be like this

I have tried changing the position absolute to relative but everything gets messed up...

If your going to just post code can you please explain why use that code and where ....because it will help me understand what im putting in my html ...and hopefully stop me from doing the same mistake again

Thanks in advance.

Edit:: Or what would be nice if someone can help me work out the basics of my website using a good code. (i hand code everything) because i am still trying to learn how to make my website.

one.. do you WANT it in the middle of the page? 2.. link your page so i can view?

erm... if you wanted the whole thing to be that (hence the body!!!)

then use this instead of the div command.. and just so you know your using div's wrong...

if you still want the div then do this

also don't be lazy and half.. "butt" it.. like most ppl are biggrin

and this is how you use the div if you kept the CSS div...

(no spaces)

now if you wanted it to NOT BE CENTERED IN THE PAGE.. cuz idk what your really asking.. but yea please clarify your question if this hasn't helped...
