Itachi Uchiha is an S-class criminal and a Konohagakure missing-nin noted even within the Bingo Book. He is currently partnered with Kisame to capture Naruto for the nine tailed fox. Unlike most other two-man teams of Akatsuki, Itachi gets along well with his partner.
Itachi graduated at the top of his Academy class at age 7, had mastered the Sharingan by age 8, became a Chunin at 10, and became an ANBU squad captain at the age of 13. Itachi was considered the best ninja among his clan.

Why? In part II, Sakura and Itachi first meet. It is obvious that Sakura hates Itachi and that in both the way they act and think, they are completely different.
Despite the poor odds for this couple (and by poor odds I mean never going to happen), the 'opposites attract' cliche is one of the reasons that make this pairing so wonderful. Itachi, the dark, malicious criminal, and Sakura, the devoted, caring friend. Mmm crack. "They are totally opposite and you and I know that opposite attracts (If you are not convinced, take 2 magnets and bring the north and south pole together). You can't deny that they do look cute together to a certain extent. " - Bleached, Itachi and Sakura fanlisting.

Well, my honest opinion? They would both get tired of each other. I can see Itachi with a determined, stubborn person, strong in one way or another, but knows love. Knows it to such an extent that he has to back off for a while. (And I'm not saying it as they voice their knowledge vocally, exactly)
Sakura could be such a person, but I think she knows love more as, "It's there, I know it is. But, is there really an explanation?"

Love the thread-- before SasuHina, I used to read this sometimes. Was pretty good, though all of the fics seemed to be about her getting kidnapped (but they were mostly super good anyways). I love the fanart-- so cute ?(Itach's a perv, though!). But I'm more ItaHina as I'm a Hinata-centric, so I'm going neutral here. whee

omg! I totally LOVE ItaSaku! It's one of the hottest Naruto pairings! o_o
Anyhows, I really like how they look together. Is pwnsome! xD lol
In a way it can make sense. I mean, Itachi is someone that knows what love is but has shunned himself from it to make himself strong. Sakura, on the other hand, hasn't shunned herself and was in love. So in a way, although both are opposites they can balance each other. Sakura can make Itachi feel again and prove him that emotions don't really make you that weak and he could teach her (indirectly) that there's more to love than what she felt for Sasuke. (um...when it comes to ItaSaku, i can't be help but be slightly antiSasuSaku... ninja *shot*)
So yea...add me as a total supporter!!! <3 btw...I did read Loophole and Genshi and is my fav ItaSaku fanfic ever. Is wonderful and this fanfic is what made me love ItaSaku even more.
