So I tried dying my hair back to my natural color yesterday (I'm naturally a... dark... blonde) and I only ended up a lighter shade of brunette gonk
I'm forcing my boyfriend to go forth and at some get me some assistance from his mighty, all-knowing, hairdresser grandmother for some help in getting it back to normal.
I'm sure it's gonna be blatantly obvious but I've never had problems with getting the color I wanted before 'cause my natural haircolor is a good one to dye from.
So discuss:
1)Hairdying/styling mishaps
2)Colors you've dyed your hair
3)Colors you want to dye your hair
In response to my own discussion, I've dyed my hair (for fun) bright auburn and dark brown, both looked awesome (especially the brown) if I do say so myself. And then various shades close to my natural color to try and make the growing out stage easier.
I want to dye my hair blue at least, but I can't due to my job crying My mom wouldn't be too happy either, and she's the boss so long as I'm in her house. I'm also kinda feelin' hot pink and purple.

My hair has been pretty much every colour I can think of at some point, along with a mixes of colours. Oo; I do all of my dying myself.
When I was back at secondary school, I made the mistake of dying my hair permanently black when I am naturally light blonde. xd I ended up with bright orange hair after trying to get it back to blonde.

I want my hair to be every color I can think of! Lucky!
I want to dye my hair black, but at the same time I'm afraid I'll come out lookin' like a goth kid 'cause I'm pretty pale... but I doubt I will, I don't have the right attitude to pull off goth.
However, I'd probably royally screw up trying to get my hair back to normal.
I want to get it back to normal right now 'cause I plan to grow it all the way to my waist, so I want to stop dying it so I can donate it to locks of love when I do chop it off (it's too short to cut right now, but I can cut off the dyed part and still have hair to donate by the time I'd be able to donate to locks of love)... but I hate the way hair looks when it's darker on bottom, lighter on top so I wanna just get it as close to my natural color as possible.

I want to keep the front part of my hair as long as it is now, then get the rest of it into a pixie. Then dye the pixie part light brown and the front part baby pink or jade green.
YES
The only colors I've dyed my hair before are Plum purple and I think one time black because I was going to be dressed up as Mulan for a school function. But my hair didn't turn black, just darker brown.

I recently dyed my hair a kind of auburn color.
I'd like to go red.

For the vast majority of my life, my hair has been its natural light brown, which I'm okay with. But for a couple of months I had two foresty-green streaks in the front...yes, inspired by Rogue from X-men sweatdrop They were fun while they lasted, but I don't think I'll end up dying my hair again. Oh, and if I remember correctly, I had blonde highlights in high school for a while. But the process of that hurt my scalp, so I don't think I'll do that again either.

I want highlights, but at the same time with my natural color... I'm alreadya blonde, I don't need it that much.

but sadly, being a teenager (and not the very rebellious type) i need my mothers permission and her answer is...

i really need to stp tyaking my mum's opinion so seriously, its like shes living my life gonk

you know the blonde around my face?
yea, that was originally blue. i had it for close to four months (with regular touchups). it was so awesome!
but then i needed to go out and get a job so i could stop mooching so much off of my parents, and i was forced to bleach it. and now it is one with me
^_^
though i would totally love to throw in some blue streaks in the blond part. or some purple... or some hot pink. but alas, i have kissed the mans a**
gonk
hope the all mighty grandmother knows what to do!

Still today about getting at tattoo and stuff, though I'm going to get mine soon. It's mostly my job keeping me from dying my hair.
But yeh, I especially urge you to never let your mom make your college decision for you... but that's just a personal issues xp

So according to the all-wise grandmother, I am to get 20 proof peroxide and mix it with my shampoo every time I wash, if I can't get 20 I can go with 40... but it's supposed to gradually bleach it without damaging the hair.
So if anybody else ever has this delima, there ya go.
I talked to her in Wal-mart over the phone and I told her the only thing they had was supposed to take out the dye and she said it probably is just bleaching it and basically destroying the hair 3nodding

Ive had pink, green, turquoise black, orange, blonde, brunette, ginger, red, purple, blue.
And turquoise and green together.
^^
Oh and black and pink.
And right now my fringe has gone white so my hair's black and white.
