It was over. Mtima'safi had said her goodbye, without actually saying that, to her mate in the Pridelands and had turned and run. The meeting had not ended on the best note, but what else was she to expect? She could only imagine how Wahabu would have reacted, and the images made her feel worse. The goddess was free to do as she wished now, to go without watching them grow older and older- she should have felt better, but she only felt worse. Now that she was moving, she did not want to stop until she was far away-- and she was running back towards her newest friend, who's mere presence had helped her through the conversation.

Katana'k had kept his distance from the ordeal, he was torn between thinking if he had given her the right decision, though, he believed he had. Who would want to watch their loved ones fade away from them? One thing about immortality, that wasn't hailed, least in his white glowing eyes. He saw her figure approach, his breath caught in his throat, he still felt strange, but he believed he had done right, that he had helped.

Only time would tell now.

"This part is over my dear..." he said lowly as she got closer, he pulled his wings upon his back, took one single step, "It seems its time to move on from here, though do remember you can visit them at times yes?" She looked so distressed, if only he was a god of comfort, and not a god of pride.

"Are you ready?"

Mtima managed to come to stop when she reached Katana'k, though her body was tensed and she still looked about ready to run. Her mind was moving faster than she was- she'd done the right thing, Kilango had done better and Kizamaji and Wahabu would too. They would not have to worry about the goddess looming around them, and they could be with those who lived as they did.

"I- I know," she answered hesitantly. She'd not be able to come back and visit easily, if they were happy she would feel justified but also like she had been doing something wrong, and if they were miserable she knew she would be the cause. Perhaps she would visit, but not for awhile. Not until she was sure she'd done right.

"Where are we going to go?" she murmured, looking from the ground- which seemed to be a most interesting view right now for the goddess, to the other god there. Mtima needed a friend, someone she knew well and trusted- but where would she find that?

"Where? Hmm, that is a good question, is there anywhere you'd like to go Mtima? Somewhere where you have other friend who you wish to see, or do you wish for a brand new start?" he wasn't sure what she really wanted to do, so he wanted to ask her if there was anything she wished to do.

Better her to choose then him.

He flicked his tail, looked about the rogue lands, he didn't really know of any good places to reside, and surely not alone. Being alone wasn't the best though, being alone meant no heart break as well. He could do without heart break, he'd seen what it had done to Mtima.

(( no more waiting for that PM, I'll send her wherever I like. ))

"It is hard to start brand new," she said quietly, trying to figure out where she wanted to go. It was easier to just be told what to do, though so far her new friend hadn't really told her to do anything but had encouraged what she knew she needed to do. Mtima looked around the rogue lands, mimicing Katana'k, and making a point of not looking back towards the Pridelands. That would be counter productive and only make her want to go back.

"I think," Mtima said hesitantly, staring off in a direction she knew lead by the Desert and to the trees beyond it, "I want to go to the Jungle."

It was not too far from the Jungle, but everything was happening so fast. At least going only so far away would make it seem like less change all at once, though she knew the Jungle was very different from the Pridelands. Not to mention she hoped to find someone familiar there.

((<3))

"The jungle it is then," Katana'k said rolling his shoulders, should they fly or walk together? Decisions decisions, though Mtima seemed a bit shaken from all that occurred, "It's alright to be unsure Mtima, just keep pride in yourself, your choice, in here," he said reaching out one of his black wings to touch her chest under her chin gently, then he pulled back once more.

Perhaps Mtima knew someone there she knew, that'd be nice, to be in the company of another she knew and cared for, it might ease her worries he thought, and he hoped. "Are you realy Mtima? Would you rather walk or fly there?"

Mtima looked out into the distance, just imagining the Jungle. She'd gone with Wahabu once to a jungle, though it was not the one that she was heading for. The memory of it made her eyes water, but she closed her eyes and breathed deeply and carefully as Katana'k reminded her to keep her pride. She had no connection to the mortal world now, she would be a goddess like she was supposed to be. It would take time, but perhaps she would find the pride she used to feel about her job, her life..

"I am ready," she said, opening her multi-colored eyes and looking over at Katana'k. If she was going to make a sincere effort, she was going to start by looking him in the eyes when she spoke to him. "I think.. I think flying would be suitable, and the quickest way."

Her wings stretched out, almost as if they had an eagerness of their own. She'd been flying, but not a great deal these past while. She'd not even kept her wings in sight most of that time. No, it was not a long time for an immortal but she had felt it, gotten weaker from spending so much energy doing it. Now she was going to make use of her wings, remind herself that they were there.

"Flying it shall be then, he stated surely, unfolding his wings from his back. The black feathered appendages were quite large, larger then his brothers, he smirked at that thought. K'Anatak had always hated the fact that even though he might be more 'fluffy' Katana'k had the larger wings. His seemingly glowing eyes looked in the direction of the jungle, he had passed over it on his travels around this area trying to find his brother.

He'd search again for him soon.

Then end it rather quickly if Katana'k got the chance.

Though perhaps he could see if K'Anatak had found their father, get information, then he could kill him. Yes, that'd be perfect. He flicked his tail and looked to the sky, then to Mtima, "If you know someone who you wish to find, then your lead a bit more, I will be here, and make sure you get there alright." He flapped his wings and took to the sky, dark clouds in the distance were gray and dark, a storm perhaps, he swore he could see a flash in the distance.

Lightning wouldn't be fun to deal with.

He hovered above her, waiting for her to take to the sky as well, from there they would fly together, make sure she made it alright.

Mtima nodded to Katana'k, and as he leapt up and prepared for their flight she couldn't help but look back towards the Pridelands. There her gaze stayed until her new friend finished speaking- and then she looked over to him with a nod. In one graceful leap, Mtima joined Katana'k in the darkening sky.

"OK, I'll go ahead then," she nodded, and hesitated another moment before heading off toward the Jungle. She knew where she was going, and had an idea of what she would do when she got there.

Katana'k kept a good distance from Mtima, but not much, just enough so their wings wouldn't touch, so that it would not knock either of them from the sky. Katana'k couldn't imagine what it would be like to fall from the sky, probably horrible. He stayed quiet, and the storm behind them seemed fast approaching, he could hear the rolling of thunder like the sound of a wave rolling into shore, the rumble as the wave hit the rocks.

An emotional storm was brewing he guessed, he wished he could make the sun come out once again for Mtima.

Mtima kept herself flying steady, focusing on such small details kept her mind more at ease and helped her continue on to where she was going. The storm behind them seemed ominous and added to the seriousness of the situation. It was not too long a journey for those with wings, to reach the border of the Jungle, where Mtima decided she would go in. It would be easier not to go down through the trees, and she wasn't sure where she would go here.

She touched down by a tree, taking a moment to get steady on her feet again. Looking back, it seemed the storm had followed them all the way here. It would be a miserable morning, she thought with a sigh- and then watched Katana'k..

He watched her intently, frowned for a mere second, he wished she was happier, hoped that this new part of her life would bring her some happiness. Life was not over for her, just beginning a new, but in a way that was easier other then being reincarnated once again. Katana'k touched down near her, far enough away to pull his wings close upon his back without grazing her with his own feathers, his wings.

He believed that might make her uncomfortable.

"Where to now Mtima?" he'd walk with her to where she would need to go. She was a friend, a female, a female friend, but a friend none the less. He would be here for her if he was needed.

Mtima watched Katana'k land and pull his wings in, and took a moment to glance over at her own wings. She was already getting used to the idea of not worrying about how visible they were, for as long as it seemed that she'd been hiding them, she had been around much longer without disguise before it.

"The jungle," Mtima answered simple, glancing over at Katana'k and then out to the trees. The rain would come soon, she didn't need to look back at the sky to know that. How soon she would seek out who she came to see, she wasn't sure. For now, she was away from the Pridelands, and that was enough.

"Thank you so much," she murmured gratefully, "Do you have time for a walk, or should you be on your way?"

Katana'k offered her a smile, and a nod, though it appeared as a bow. "It was a pleasure to help you...my friend," he gave her another smile, and looked to the sky. The air felt damp, though a walk sounded nice, even if it was just for a few moments. He could stay for a bit longer, and then worry about his brother later. Yes, later would be so much better then now. "Of course I can walk for a few more moments Mtima, of course."

He also wanted to make sure she'd be alright.

He'd feel horrible if somehting happened here where he could've done something to prevent it, even if it was a meager few moments of walking, though walking with...with a friend, was hardly meager.

Mtima returned the smile, glad to have some friendly company and such great help. It would not be easy to forget her family, but being in good company would help her out.

"Have you ever taken the time to look around the Jungle?" she asked, folding her wings comfortably upon her back and turning to face the mass of trees to start walking. "It really is worth taking the time to appreciate it." It was a suitable distraction, she always did like the jungle.
