A frame of charcoal moved through the burned grasses, a shadow, only revealed by the odd flash of blond before he vanished once again. Odd coloured eyes surveyed the world and what he was hunting was wilderbeast. Those huge, mucle bound creatures whom were known for their strength and renound for their skill to injure stalking beasts.
He vanished though, the dark lion, how he did it was a mystery but he reappeared before one of the winderbeast, his od white eye with the tiny black pupil observing the wilderbeast for a long moment before a perfectly innocent little laugh escaped his lips, a laugh which sounded remeniss of a little child, the wilderbeast was apparantly shocked by the lion appearing before him and stood stock still, still chewing the cud. A sweet smile spread upon his maw before he spoke in a sweet, child like manner. "Hello little friend." there was a flash of silver white claws and his black eye watched as the wilderbeast fell to the floor. "I'm afraid I have to kill you now, I'm a little hungry okay?" He sat then a shadow amongst the golden grasses where the wilderbeast had seconds before been grazing. "You've been very good, don't worry you won't go to waste." He laughed again then, his voice a high pitched almost girly giggle. "Yes, you are a very good little friend."

Koka had been traveling with the cubs, nothing unusual. In fact it was becoming such the norm that the ebony lioness was growing weary of it. It was day after day of traveling, stopping to get food or feed the runts then back on the road. How the loners did it she wasn't sure, but Koka was certainly aching for some change in her life. As usual though she was out hunting. The sisters had been left at a stray tree in the distance. There was enough protection there for them and if they were smart enough they'd stay hidden and not go out playing. It wouldn't be her fault if their stupidity led to their deaths though so the lioness didn't worry. In fact, she never really did.
The scorched yellow grass was tall enough to hide the lioness as she snuck up upon the herd of wildabeast. Violet eyes watched through the swaying vegetation as she attempted to catch sight of a young calf. The lioness wasn't idiotic enough to attempt killing one of the adults. She had no interest in being skewered a live seeing as she valued her life a bit too much. No a calf would do fine though getting to it might be a bit of a problem.
A flash of gold in the sea of grass to her side caught her attention. Remaining in her crouched position she watched carefully for any sign of it again. To say she was surprised would be an understatement when a lion appeared in front of one of the giant beasts. To say that the beast was surprised would also be an understatement. A flash of claws and blood and the creature was on the ground.
Koka's head popped up from the grasses just as the herd began to dart away as one of their comrades fell to the ground. Koka payed the herd no heed as she watched this strange lion talk to the carcass or himself...Koka wasn't sure which at that point. Brows furrowed as she attempted to think back to what she saw. How had that lion gotten in front of the wildabeast that quickly and managed to bring it down in one blow? This intrigued the lioness so much that she threw safety to the wayside and stalked out of the tall grasses and into view of this strange lion. She paused for a moment before moving in his direction, determined to learn this stranger's secrets.

The golden maned head lifted as Koka padded from the long dry stalks of grass, his ebony black eye watched her movements, while the white eye somehow watched the prey beast which he had just killed. "Hello my pretty." Both odd eyed fixed squarely upon Koka then, his soft peach coloured nose giving a twitch as he smiled. "And how can I help you? If you are looking for food they went that way." He lifted a clawand pointed off in the direction the herd had scarpered a little laugh escaping between his lips, a sort of tittering giggle of a lilt which escaped between his teeth.
Perhaps it was then that it occured to him that he had a full grown wilderbeast downed at his paws, it's blood slowly seeping through the dry ground beneath it. "Oh, you maybe want soem of my little friend here hmm? well, I suppose there is alot of him and I did promise he wouldn't go to waste." he grinned then those odd eyes widening as he watched Koka, her dark coat and red markings reflecting in his black eye. "Just be good and I won't kill you kay?" he smiled in that silly, child like manner again then his head tilting in a curious manner, kiddish manner. "My name is Tiyatahmey, you make sure you say it right okay? i don't like it when people say it wrong it's very degrading."

Koka eyed the strange lion with weariness. His speech and movements was enough to put her on edge for a lion not right in the head was a dangerous lion in deed. Koka was going to tread carefully around this one but that didn't mean she wasn't going to try and milk whatever she can from him.
"Uh, no thanks, I can get my own." She stated as she look from the male to the dead creature. No, she didn't want anything to do with that meal. She wasn't about to stick her head anywhere near a carcass that this mentally ill lion was going to be near at the same time.
Kill her? Well if he was any other lion Koka would have laughed in his face but after seeing his display the female wouldn't doubt that this stranger could do it if he desired. "I'll be good and I'll make sure to pronounce your name right. After all I know I wouldn't be pleased if someone mispronounced my own name, which by the way is Koka."
The ebony lioness looked back to the bleeding carcas then to Tiyatahmey. "I must know though, how you managed to kill that in one easy strike like you did." Koka's violet eyes held a twinkle as she asked the question. She wanted to know his secrets which would be perfect to know when she finally returned to take over the Firekin pride.

His odd eyes surveyed the dark female for a long moment. "Koka, yes, you can be called that." a quick smile graced his face then though it was quickly washed away as he looked to his meal. "I shall just have to eat him all then.Poor little firend. He must feel some what neglected, wouldn't you aggree, koka? You do not like his taste?" a little laugh again then as he lifted a claw and gave it a lick. Only the one claw had any blood on it. It had infact been a very clean kill, he had no blood on his face, no red marred his blond mane.
"You're a good friend Koka, I can see that." A odd smile graced his maw then and he looked at the creature he had just killed, the beast slowly going cold, the scent of blood heavy in the air, though he didn't seem in any hurry to eat the creature and no vultures had yet appeared so he seemed to deem this time fit for laying down.
"How did I kill it? Like everyone else Koka." He giggles again, his odd black eye observing her while the white one seemed to glimmer. "It takes a very LOONNNGGG time to learn it Koka, it's something that, not alot of lions can do. Infact, I'm pretty sure only I am left now. There used to be many, but that was a very long time ago." His white fangs flashed in the sunlight and he slipped to his paws once again, his movements strangely swift, silent in the manner of being frightening, ghostlike almost. "Why do you ask my little friend?"

Eyes danced over the lion as he proceeded to speak before laying himself down near the carcass. Red stained the vegetation where the dead creature lay but Koka payed little attention to that. No, she was much more interested in what this lion had to tell her.
"I've never seen a lion take down such a large beast with one strike. It must be a wonderful skill to know and one you're quite proud of."
Compliments had been thrown out, a tactic that Koka had learned worked very well, especially with Nyek. When she wanted something a little flattery went a long way, and being a lioness with as lean as a body as herself helped as well. So, taking the initiative, Koka rounded the large large lion to sit closer to him, but kept herself just out of, what she assumed, was striking reach. Afterall, the dislay that this male had put on earlier, was enough to teach her not to assume, not with Tiyatahmey.
"I wish to learn such tricks that you know. Afterall, knowing how to do such things as you did earlier must be very useful and useful techniques is what I need."

"Tricks? Oh no Koka it is no trick it is a thing that can be taught but that cannot be learnt unless you truely want to." He observed her for a moment with his white eye the tiny pupil never moveing, that eye so stationary it fixed on the little female in an eerie sort of manner. "You are pretty it will mar your coat to die the way my little friend did." He licks his dark lips his pink togue flashing over his maw as he affixed ehr with his duel coloured gaze.
"Yes, okay I will teach it to you, but you must let go of all that you know, all that you love, all that you see, to learn what I know you must be at one with the shadows." He moved in such a swift manner that he almost vanished from infront of the dark females eyes. He stood next to her and looked int he directionshe was looking, a small smile raising on those coal black lips. "you have to follow quietly Koka, my friend things will be very strange for a while. Yes, stranger than you think my little friend but I will show you wheer to go and what to do. How to kill, but first there must be silence and food."
He walked normally, his swift vanishing acts clearly done for the moment, he lay before the carcass and tore in to it starting at the belly. "You should eat Koka" he whispers, his voice as always a high pitched murmer "what I will teach will make you very hungry."

That eye. It unnerved Koka in a way she had never felt before. This lion stradled the line of sanity and insanity and the lioness felt more of this lion was on the insanity side. She gave him a fierce look at the mention of her hide being touched. If anything Koka would put in a hard fight before claw touched her coat and ruined it. This train of thought was dominant in her mind until Tiy wielded to her question of being taught.
A suddden movement and Tiy was next to her. Eyes wide teh seer looked at the male. How could he possibly move in such a way? Koka needed to know how! There was just one little problem with he what he wanted, actually, two and those two problems were her damn daughters. "I can't do all you want. I have two cubs to look after and I can't abandon them." Not yet, she thought.
She watched as he sauntered back to the carcass, eyes watching his every move as her placed himself next to the meal before taking the first bite. Would he deny her teachings due to her daughters? Thos damn girls would be a thorn in her side, Koka could see it.

"Cubs, children?" His eyes lifted in a strange manner then, a smile, a very wide strange smile peirced his face. "I like little children." He giggles then, his laughter strange in itself, his odd eyes barely moving in reaction to his laughter. "Are they mine?" He raised a brow, it wasa foolish question but he seemed perfectly serious.
Turning back to his meal he continuesd to devour the beast. "They can come, they can be my students to, I like little stdents they do what I say and not what i do very well." He rolled those dark shoulders and pattered away from the now dissemboweld beast. He sat very upright before Koka and groomed his maw, the blood glistened on his fur though it could hardly be seen due to it's ebony nature.
"you will do as I say okay? eat the little beast it is lonely and wasted then go to your cubbies, I will find you at first light and I will show you my ways and you will learn fast because I am little on paitients." His eyes looked upon her for a cold dark moment, it was perhaps easy to see why he was the last of his kind. "I do like cubbies they will like me I will teach them lots of little tricks!" He laughs again then, finding his own words funny apparantly. "He fixed her once again with that white eye which roamed as if taking in every ounce of her body. "Yes you will learn quickly Koka, my little friend."

Koka raised a brow at Tiy and finally decided that this line did not border sanitya nd insanity he had fully crossed the threshold and was completely mental. "Seeing as this is the first time we have ever met, I can safely tell you that the cubs are not yours."
So her daughters would also become students. Maybe this teaching would get the runts into shape and make them more useful. Afterall, they did nothing but goof off and play all day. These were things that a future warrior should not be doing. With Tiy as a teacher they'd surely learn something...if they survived. Even Koka was unsure of how stable this lion was. There was no question in his insanity but his stability was still being thought over.
"I shall do as you say, yes." She nodded as she moved toward the carcass. Lowering her body she moved to rip a small chunk of flesh from the rigid beast. All the while she watched Tiy carefully.
Koka ate only as much as she dared with Tiy around. Once content with her meal she ripped off a large piece of meat that would suffice her daughters for the time being. Letting the meat lay at her paws she looked to Tiy. "I'll be waiting for you at first light then." With that said, Koka grabbed the meat and moved off into the grasses to find her cubs.
