Penny and I were talking, and after an innocent joke on her part, we came to a revelation. Now, here me out on this, as it makes too much sense.
Okay, so it shouldn't be any secret that I consider Tom the reason Gamedays started. So, with that idea, here we go:
Once upon a time, Matt (I'm a woman in this scenario) and Tom were friends. Matt dated around, and eventually, Tom fell for her (ew!). They married and lived several years happily (EW!). Then, one fateful day, Tom forgot to use protection (asking about playing Hunter on the 'Cube with Chesca). James (sperm) suddenly worked his way out and asked "Oh, video games! I want to play!" (ejaculation). Having an unfertilized egg (Chesca) was a recipe for something great. And thus, Gameday was born.
Mother Matt and Father Tom raised Gameday finely. Young Gameday grew and learned and grew more. Then, one day, Gameday took upon the hobby of RPing. Mother was all for this, but Father had his doubts. Not wanting to disrupt Gameday's fun, however, Father went along with it. And so, Gameday made new friends and grew even more.
Then, one day, Mother met another (Penny). Mother and Penny clicked, and Father picked up on this. Fearing his place, Father tried to sabotage it. He tried to drive Penny away by being weird and creepy ("how are your dogs?") Unfortunately for Father, it didn't work, and actually backfired. Father then began to drink heavily (video games) and blame it on Gameday and Mother ("You guys were ignoring me!").
Then, the inevitable happened; Mother and Penny had an affair. Mother saw teh light and wanted a divorce from Father. Father was, at first, very upset (Sunday of DOOM). Eventually, though, Father realized that the only way he would be able to continue to see Mother and his child was to go along with it on good-terms. But all was not so simple.
Father began to drink more heavily and even began to abuse Gameday ("Nobody pays attention to me! I'm so depressed! Life is woe!"). And so, eventually, Mother filed a restraining order.
And there you have it. The philosophical version of Gamedays.
Tom knocked me up, became an abusive alcoholic, and now owes us a LOT of child-support money! Creepy? Yes. True? Too much.

OMG.....that is so bad.....but it works.....and you arent a single parent anymore. This better suits the claim that you are indeed a Lesbian King now, since you divorced Father Tom for Mistress Penny ^ ^

He was turning into a frikkin' SOAP OPERA. It's terrible, but kind of fun to tell people about because it's so true that it's unreal.

I'm SO glad I don't see him. The several times he came into Game Stop while I was working in the weeks after were AWKWARD. I don't know what was worse: him just looking for twenty minuets without a word, or him buying a subscription and reservation from me.
