~:...' Raining Winds, fall apart '...:~  King Arthur was a fabled British leader and a prominent figure in Britain's legendary history, said in many medieval tales
and chronicles to have taken the mantle of rulership over Britain and defended his land against Saxon invaders following the withdrawal of Rome. Arthur's story includes considerable elements of legend and folklore, and his very existence is debated and has become a point of fierce controversy among modern historians. The scarce historical background to Arthur is found scattered across various works including those of "Nennius" and Gildas and in the Annales Cambriae. The legendary Arthur was developed as a figure of international interest largely through the 12th century pseudo-history of Geoffrey of Monmouth, although Welsh and Breton stories and poems were circulating before he wrote.
The central themes of the Arthurian cycle vary depending on which texts are examined. However, they include the establishment of Arthur as king through the sword in the stone episode, the advice of the wizard Merlin, the establishment of the fellowship of knights known as the Round Table and its associated code of chivalry, the defense of Britain against the Saxons, numerous magical adventures associated with particular knights – notably Kay, Gawain, Lancelot, Percival and Galahad – the enmity of Arthur's half-sister Morgan le Fay, the quest for the Holy Grail, the adultery of Lancelot and Queen Guinevere, the final battle with Mordred, and the legend of Arthur's future return. The magical sword Excalibur, the castle Camelot and the Lady of the Lake also play pivotal roles.
The historicity of the King Arthur legend has long been debated by scholars. One school of thought, based on references in the Historia Brittonum and Annales Cambriae, would see Arthur as a shadowy historical figure, a Romano-British leader fighting against the invading Anglo-Saxons sometime in the late 5th to early 6th century. The Historia Brittonum ("History of the Britons"), a 9th century Latin historical compilation attributed in some late manuscripts to a Welsh cleric called Nennius, gives a list of twelve battles fought by Arthur, culminating in the Battle of Mons Badonicus, where he is said to have single-handedly killed 960 men. However, recent studies suggest that the Historia Brittonum cannot be considered a reliable source for the history of this period The other text that is usually used by this school of thought is the 10th century Annales Cambriae ("Welsh Annals"), which also links Arthur with the Badon. The Annales dates this battle to 516–518, and also mentions the Battle of Camlann, in which Arthur and Medraut were both killed, dated to 537–539.

Personality: Obnoxious, know-it-all brat. He will do anything and everything to prove than he is better than you and right at everything. At this stage, his 'nobility' results with him being like every pampered child at that age: annoying. He has yet to show any signs of chivalry or an overall caring limb at all as one would expect from the smaller form of the great 'King Arthur.' While usually polite it's not without it's twinge of arrogant air, and he is only kind the first second that you meet him before 'people find some way to pester him' and he is telling you what to do.
Bio: Born from the scroll on Christmas eve, the British little bugger had caused quite an uprising on what was supposed to be a day of merriment and cheers.

The best way to sum her actions up would most likely be, 'Tough Love'. She's not much of a conversation starter, so when first meeting her many see her as quiet or shy. Maybe even a little intimidating or cold. But once you get to know her she's surprisingly friendly, and every other sentence coated with sarcasm. She'd hate to admit it, but Shira's fairly reliant on first impressions.
Even though she has a bit of a short circuit she's not easily insulted, and responds either with apathy or sarcasm while still keeping in good humor. She tries to avoid conflict -though there's not much resistance- or anything else that showcases her lack of control. On that note: it is almost her unconscious nature to swear, even when sweet old ladies and children are present. She has her lazy streaks- though most have to do with the fact that she's practically nocturnal, and cannot function normally without caffeine.

Other: Taking care of her fist son, Demos, has changed Shira a bit. She's a tad more empathetic towards others and tends to unknowingly spoil her child every once in awhile.

Dante Barrett - Lazy, a jokester, and compulsive liar for the hell of it. Dante is a procrastinating college student whom followed Shira around after they first met about a year ago. The relationship was at first annoying and awkward, but soon grew to be an uncanny, strong friendship. He often stays in Shira's apartment, anything else about him is unknown. ((Types in olive))
Thomas 'Miguel' Valverez - Shira's boss at the cafe she works at. A Puerto Rican with a thick accent and bad temper, he considers himself as Shira's protector and father figure. He's often hassling her on a daily basis, being it at work or on her answering machine. ((Types in brown.))
Annabelle Colpel - A whiny, naive, childish, sickly, blond nuisance-- and Shira's Landlord. The middle-aged vegetarian feels as if Shira and her are best friends, though Shira thinks the complete opposite, and visits her any chance she gets. Vincent - Any encounter with this man ends with a guaranteed headache. A perverted columnist in the city's newspaper who gave Shira publishing connections. She has only met and worked with him a few times-- and hopes she never has to again. ((Types in darkblue.))
