Okay, so the tea light was introduced. It smells normal, and tends to make Nyoko melt into a mushy puddle of Kitsune goo. Other than the mysterious effect on Nyoko, who is admittedly weird anyways, it seems like normal incense.

At first glance, there doesn't seem to be anything strange about Asa. Okay, so he obviously has Asian blood somewhere in his line, but that doesn't seen too unusual. A closer look, however, will show just how unusual Asa is. There are hints of blood red scales on his cheeks, as well as the back of his hands and the top of his feet. His hair is a dark brown that borders on black, and is relatively short. Although Asa's vibrant green eyes seem normal at first glance, a closer look will reveal slit pupils. At this stage, Asa seems to be fond of black and red, and loves anything that has an Eastern Dragon pattern. But he doesn't like Western Dragons, still not sure why. confused Maybe it has something to do with his Japanese name?

This is when Asa's true fashion sense begins to show. His mother's punky style, combined with various other influences have caused the originally shy and reserved Asa to open up. He's become, as Nyoko likes to describe him, "sex on legs." The speckling of blood red scales on his cheeks remains, but the scales on his hands have extended just past his wrists, and are now more densely concentrated. A hint of fangs can be seen when he smiles, and his nails have sharpened and darkened, now more like short black claws. Although his hair isn't as long as he'd like it to be, he's managed to style it like this, and (if hair dye is available), will have dyed the tips of his hair blood red.
Asa's style of dress is a mixture of punk and "goth." He wears two shirts, a fishnet undershirt, and on top of that, he wears a shirt that has Pride emblazoned across his chest. He wears a loose pair of black bondage pants, although the strap is actually buckled to his choker. Along with his choker, he wears a single-rowed studded bracelet on his right wrist, and a triple-rowed bracelet on his left wrist.

Personality: Asa's personality is... Hard to describe. He can be sweet and innocent one second, and swing to sultry and domineering the next. His mood swings might have something to do with the many uses of Dragon's Blood, or perhaps it's something else. For the most part, Asa is similiar to a lazy cat. He's content to just sit back and observe, and is hard to motivate. He is sultry, and in his later years he becomes very sexual, though not to an inappropriate point.

Scent Description Exotic, haunting, sweet and mysterious are just a few of the words that come to mind when describing this extremely sophisticated and very complex fragrance. Personality
Nyoko is generally bright and cheerful, and can easily come off as a ditz if you aren't paying close attention to her. Although she acts rather dim, her IQ is in fact well over 120, and she has the innate ability to remember most small facts. While she is generally easy-going, she is always thinking and takes every action towards herself seriously. It is worth noting that she pretends to be easily distracted by shiny objects, although she is generally able to focus on a single task for extended periods of time. Although serious, Nyoko rarely expresses darker emotions, even though she feels them occassionally. Overall she is a kind, loving individual, with many quirks.
Other
-Nyoko suffers from Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Asperger Syndrome, and anxiety.
-Nyoko still has a security blanket, which she's had for so many years that she actually forgot when she received it. sweatdrop It is purple, and does have a few holes due to the wear of the fabric, but she can't sleep without it.
-Nyoko spent 10 Gaian days in one of her "realms" to help her get over her first true love, whom she let go because she felt she couldn't give him what he needed.

-Although Nyoko is immune to most diseases, she is able to fall ill. However, when she does fall ill, it isn't caused by infection or viruses. The cause is likely to be much more serious.

Unlit
A clear liquid with a yellow tinge, held in a simple burner with a silver base. Floating in the liquid are two or three long, narrow yellow petals.
Lit
Much the same as before, but the liquid is more yellow and the smoke is doing weird things. That and Anima would be prone to curl up right next to it if she had her way.
Child
Anima has now come face to face with a little girl who seems to be of Asian descent. However...her overall features is where the resemblance really stops. Her eyes are a greenish-yellow color, while her shoulder-length hair is the vibrant yellow of her scent's flower. The hair is reminiscent of Yuuko Ichihara's, and held in a simple ponytail. And her skin is pale, with a yellowish tint and a slight shimmer to it. She's fond of yellow, green, and white as colors, and Chinese-style clothes that look fairly...'nice girl'. In her hair is a ylang ylang flower, above her right ear.
Adolscent
Yue went from 'nice girl' to...yummy. Her vibrant yellow hair is now shoulder-blade length and kept loose, with a ylang ylang flower/barrette holding the hair on the right side back enough for her ear to show. Her eyes are a slightly darker color now, more yellow than green, and have a 'come hither' quality to them. Her skin is still the same color as before and her limbs are long and slender, and she has a sizable bust...She seems to dress with the words "If you've got it, flaunt it" in mind. Her clothes still have a Chinese feel to them, but she mixes Western influences with them...If you've ever seen xxxHolic's Yuuko Ichihara, you'd know what I mean. She wears very little makeup, and she only wears makeup when it will accent her AND what she's wearing.

Personality: Yue is exteremely sensual and easy-going. She's languid in her movements and actions, like a sun-bathing cat, and has no problems draping her arms around a friend and giving them a kiss...Of course, she saves the deep kisses for whoever she's seeing. Personality: Anima is very quiet and child-minded. She speaks with actions and looks rather than words, and is very trusting. History: Anima and Animus are from a very broken family. Born to a very patriarchal family, Animus was groomed to be the next head of the family, while Anima's only human contact was her mother, father, and brother. For the first five years of their life, everything was fine and their mother kept their father's temper under control. But their mother was sick, and died not long after their fifth birthday. After that...'Father' Cross became very violent. Though he never hit his children, he yelled and degraded, though Anima received the brunt of it, rather than Animus. Animus was still Father Cross' precious heir. But Animus loved his sister, so protected her, despite the violent tendancies he learned from his father, and his own inherent sadistic nature. What is it meant by Anima's only human contact? Anima could see ghosts of all sorts, as well as the occasional 'totem' animal -though she didn't know what they were at the time- and was content talking and singing with those lost and guiding souls. But after their tenth birthday...they couldn't take it anymore. Anima was almost always crying, and Animus was growing tired of being expected to run a family he hated. So the twins ran away. Unfortunately, on their way to Cyrus City, they encountered a vampire. Neither child can remember the vampire's name, they barely even saw her face, but the end result was 'simple': Animus ended up a vampire at the age of ten, while Anima was doomed to never become an adult mentally and emotionally. When they finally got to Cyrus City, they were taken in by Nyoko Shirohana, and that's where they've been since. Animus revels in being a vampire, while Anima has found a place among the followers of the Lord and Lady, taking care of the temple and often acting as the Maiden in rituals.

 Animus CrossAnima's twin brother and Nyoko's lover. Animus looks ten for the most part, though he's leaner, his dark red eyes are definitely older, and he's got fangs. Yup...Animus is a vampire, turned at age ten. He's shorter than both Anima and Nyoko at 5'1", but he compensates well. He's overprotective of Anima, a bit violent and sadistic, and gets snappish when the topic of childhood is brought up.
