I'm sorry. i know I'm not as active in this forum as I should be. I suck, i know it.

Anyway, I heard something today that made me want to strangle a girl!

Seriosuly. I think if she was in a physical proximity to me.. she would be slapped silly by now, and put in a padded room.

Anyway... we all know how much piercing guns suck don't we?

Well... in LI forum... one girl is talking about getting her hips pierced. No biggie there, not a problem in my eyes. I've seen better/worse (depending on how you look at it wink )

However... she was planning to self pierce it. Again, I have no problem with self piercing, so long as they do it proerly (and i don't mean using fire to 'sterilise the sewing pin' and the like. I mean going to get your jewellery and equipment autoclaved etc)

Anyway, I read some more...

and it turns out she's planning on doing this SURFACE PIERCING, with normal high risk of rejection...

with a piercing gun.

Dear christ gonk I left her a response, that's disgusting. Why would you even think of using a gun for a surface piercing?

I dont even see how its physically possible to use a piercing gun on a surface piercing? I thought the guns only used earring studs? and if thats the case the studs length and guage would be too small for a surface piercing like that. Unless you mean like a staple or nail gun

A piercing gun is DEFINITELY not long enough to do a surface piercing with.

Sometimes the only thing you can do is let people do stuff like that and hope they die of infection because we have to many stupid people as it is xp

Tattoos, especially if is was something common like a butterfly, aren't NEARLY as socially deviant as hip surfaces.

That is true... however piercings can be removed with much more ease than a tattoo can.

And yeah, it would probably tear the outside of the lip and get stuck in the middle, or if it came out as soon as she closed it the swelling would reject the stud as soon as she takes her hands off it... But hey, that should be some intense pain, I wanna see her try it. razz

Why doesn't she just take a sword and stab herself through her stomach?

I think the world would be a better place if anyone not trained to pierce decides to self pierce. Especially using a piercing GUN. gonk
