borntosmile  i want feedback Start working with your face shape and expressions to give your character personality.
You've got a great sense of proportion up until the hands; they're small and undfined. No worries though, they're extremely tough for all of us.
As for the coloring... if you're going to color it in, color ALL of it in. If you're afraid to get too close to your character, outline her a few times so that you have a large block of color. It's the sky background that bugs me the most because it really looks like you stopped caring. The color stops before it reaches your character, the spaces in between her arms and her torso are left blank, and the sky isn't colored in on the sides of the page either. You have to commit to coloring it all in or risk making the entire drawing look, well, half-assed.
The only thing I can say about the water is to look at some actual pictures of water when you draw and notice how the color changes when any type of light hits the water.
You're well on your way though!
