Laini seemed cursed with restless nights had hadn't been able to sleep. She had wandered from the Jungle, traveling with the light breeze that she loved so dearly, but not even the familiar savanna had aided her. Lucky for Laini, she had found the means to make it worth her while. She had managed to use the cover of night to pull down a wildebeest and had brought it back to her chosen sleeping ground.

Laini, satisfied after devouring the best part of the wildebeest, pulled off a leg and chewed lazily. She didn't feel the need to worry. She had yet to hear the sound of a hyena and the vultures surely weren't flying about. Regardless, Laini could take down anything, she did not doubt. It was pride and satisfaction that created such a state of mind that she was in. But she didn't mind in the least. Nothing was out there. Nothing.

[Mmmn... Cert will be added if I can find it xD;;]

Nothing?
Then was Safir'ena,... a nothing? Though not knowing Laini's thoughts, inside, the light coated, Wind-Loving Rogue, worried sometimes.. if she were a nobody... just maybe a thing... just, Nothing.

Safir'ena was rested atop a hill not too far away, her Pale, Violet Red eyes, gazing up at the sky. She never slept... well, perhaps durring the day.. Which she was slowly coming to velieve would be bad, if she ever wanted to make friends of any sort. Most lions slept at night... not durring the day, when the sun beat down on you, making it looks as if your eyelids where red while you slept.

She sighed lightly as she slowered her head, feeling a slight ache of lonliness in her heart, as she gazed about her, her eyes seeming to have just skimmed right over the teal female not far in the distance.

One of the things that plagued Laini came a-creeping. She became bored with chewing on the bone. Things were only fun if there was someone to make them fun. And Laini certainly didn't have that ability. The first hints of sunlight wove their warm loving hands on the horizon. Not so loving for Laini who stuck out like a sore thumb and thus would be forced to resort to stealth to remain hidden.

The breeze blew gently on her face as she stared at the horizon, bringing a familiar scent to her nose. A lion? They probably wanted her meal. Laini narrowed her eyes. Trying to sneak up on her were they? Well, they weren't going to get anything that way. She looked around for anything. The light on the horizon gave everything a slight orange-red outline so visibility was slightly increased. And standing up, it pointed out exactly where the smell of lion was coming from. But the lion wasn't moving? Laini squinted and against better judgement, approached.

It was practicly as soon as the sun had started to rise, that Safir had started to become slightly.. uncomfortable. She turned her head away from the sun, off to the side, and it was then that she caught the gaze of another lion, a lioness of a teal coat, that she hadn't noticed before.

A light smile formed on her maw, obviously careing less about the food, and more that there aws another lioness around, at the same time, and near same place that Safir'ena was in. She raised a paw slightly, as if waving to the female, and motioning her over, now near completely ignoring the sun, that continued to just slowly rise over the horizon, giving the skies a beautiful gradient of colors.. of Pinks, Oranges, purples and blues. This was actually the only time of day Safir liked... Dawn. Well, of course, she loved Dusk as well.

Laini was taken aback by the lioness's "wave". She had never been entirely trusting of strangers and friendly ones were sometimes the sly ones who tried to catch you off-guard. But the lioness had welcomed her - Laini might have issues with that, believing herself to be here first - so Laini walked more openly rather than at the slouched, slow pace. Regardless of everything she was thinking, she still couldn't tell if she should be nice or not. There were so many different ways she could react.

When Laini reached the top of the hill the other lioness was perched on, she sat in front of her and studied her for a minute, furrowing her brow. Seeing that the lioness couldn't be a danger - whether or not that was actually true - she relaxed her shoulders and looked levelly at the other lioness. "Fine morning, I suppose." She wasn't used to being the conversation starter so it was a bit weird for her to try.

Safir'ena smiled at her, giving a light nod. "Very true... the sun is not bringing a great morning heat as it normaly does. Apparently the God of the Sun is happy today." she said, her smile just continueing on.

She turned her gaze off to the sun for a moment, gazing just below it, not to hurt her eyes. She watched, as the light blue sky, fallowed behind the Sun, as the star chased away the night sky and the moon, so it may have it's own time to rein.

This girl to appeared to be more of the thinking type. Interesting. However, thinking wasn't entertaining to the one who wasn't doing the thinking ...which would be Laini. This lioness also appeared to be very religious.

Laini scrunched up her face for a second. "In my opinion it's the light breeze that's here. Going to sound sort of stupid but I've actually been following the light breeze. That's why I'm here." She really did feel stupid saying it but oh well. What was done was done. "My name is Laini'ukungu by the way."

Safir'ena just continued smiling. "I too, fallow the wind. Perhaps this is how we have ended in this same area, at this samep lace and time." she said, looking quite joyed by this possibility.

"Oh yes.. My name is Safir'ena, but you can call me Safir or Saffie if you'd prefure." she said, nodding again.

Laini looked slightly puzzled since she had followed the breeze from the edges of the jungle all the way to here and had seen no one. Then again, it was quite possible that there was a different wind blowing. They died just as fast as they could be created so she assumed it must be possible.

The other thing she took into account was that the other lioness wasn't carrying any conversation. The comments she made left little room for Laini to respond. Perhaps if Laini had been someone else, but she wasn't. And Laini wasn't the type to sit contemplatively and wait for others to magically realize it was their job to say something. Laini wasn't the one shutting the doors. She frowned and looked over her shoulder at her food. Seeing no savengers, she turned back.

It seemd that the two were them both at a pause, as usually, Safir'ena, wouldn't say something, unless spoken to. Figured, right?
She sat back, her tail continueing to just flick about behind her, as her eyes stared at the sky, her mind seeming to drift away slowly, yet still, at the same time, holding close to the fact that Laini was infront of her still. It seemd to completely pass her though, that the teal lioness had seemed to be slightly aggitated.

Well, Laini couldn't stare as the sunrise the whole bloody day. There were things she could be doing with her life. She wasn't sure what but she knew there was something and not even a miracle could make her change her mind ....well maybe it could but miracles were extremely rare and unevocable. With an irritated twitch of her tail, she made her way back to her food. She had greeted the other lioness, she had tried to make conversation. If nothing else happened, it wasn't her fault. Laini flexed her shoulder bones pensively as she walked.

Safir'ena had fallowed, if only from a short distance. "Are you a good Huntress?" she asked calmly, smiling as she looked at Laini's food, though not even a little glint in her eye of wanting some, as she new it didn't belong to her at all. She had nothing to do with Laini's catch, therefor, had no reason to want it, even if she were starving. If she wanted food, she could get her on her own.

Laini hadn't meant for her stalking back to her food to be a ploy for getting the other to speak but it had worked like one. Laini was willing to go with that, stopped, and turned around. I would hope so would be a slightly modest response but Laini wasn't really modest. "Yes, yes I am." She eyed the other lioness through slightly narrowed eyes. Safir didn't look wanting but she could be hiding something. After a minute her moment of selfishness began to fade. She shrugged as if Safir'ena had asked, "you can have some if you want."

Safir'ena shook her head. "No no, it is yours. I am currently in no need of food,... if I need food, I can get it on my own." she smiled, nodding. Though in a way, her words may have sounded slightly rude, her tone showed the exact oposite.

"Ok," Laini replied with a blink. "By the way, I don't think I asked you. What brought you out here? You seem like the type of person who'd belong to a pride." She pawed at the ground. It wasn't too often she stepped out of her hard shell and tried being nice and considerate towards other people. But Laini was in an odd mood today. She could deal.
