Nope. Here in nevada they teach it in the first year of middle school.

ryokomayuka It's shocking. eek According to the article the teacher was in the room. Yeah, but I generally don't trust news agencies for 100% accuracy. Especially when their primary "source" is a bunch of teenagers. "In the room" might be "In the room, looking in another direction, while they had sex under a table, quietly".

One of my boyfriends and I got away with some stuff in class, but we never took it that far...
It kinda reminds me of the Monty Python thing, in The Meaning of Life, where the teacher is having sex. At first it sounded like the teacher was in the room watching it, smiling and nodding.

My bf said he first heard about it on the Bill O'Reilly show and he got some more details about it from that. Apparently the room is sort of in an L-shape and the two students that were doing it were in an area where the teacher couldn't see them and there was one kid keeping a look-out I guess and a bunch of other students were watching them do it. I don't know if the teacher finally caught them or something though. He didn't mention that part...
This disgusts and shocks me because my own little brother is just in 4th grade himself. He's just a few years away from 6th grade and by then he'll be about 12 years old. So the students doing that were around 11-13 probably. I just can't wrap my mind around the thought of kids that age having sex because I still think of them as little kids... xp And when I see them and stuff....god the girls hardly have any boobs yet! I just don't understand it... gonk

My neighbor was propositioned by a ten-year old (he was only ten, too.)
She came up to him and offered him a b*****b when they were playing outside. He was like, "What's that?" and she explained it, but he said, "Ew, only my doctor can see that!'
On a side note...Big Billy? Ewwww.

He was like, "What's that?" and she explained it, but he said, "Ew, only my doctor can see that!' On a side note...Big Billy? Ewwww. I find that sickening yet hilarious at the same time. Typical kid answer, "You have cooties!" @ Aiko: Abstinence only school district? xD And the kids are ******** right in front of the teacher? It's like "Hey teacher, look, we're having sex, neener neener neeener! And we're not married either!" xd

That certainly is awkward and somewhat strange. I mean from what I hear (I've never experienced) passion can get the best of judgment but I'd be scared as hell to have other students look at me like I'm some sort of display.
That and I am very ashamed of my body and am big wuss, and I'm still a virgin D: , plus I play WoW! How bad can I get!!

Quote: Associate Superintendent Jeff Swensson told Eyewitness News off camera the teacher didn't know what was going on because another student acted as a "look-out." But once the teacher discovered the behavior, immediate action was taken. Swensson says the students involved were recommended for expulsion. But he did not say whether the board followed that recommendation.
