So, scarves have become popular lately. I'm thinking this isn't a coincidence, but that aside:
Does anyone else find it funny when a person walks by wearing a neck warmer that might be a double for Four's, and quite plainly they have never heard of the Doctor in their lives, or would scorn them if they did?
I swear I saw a guy in a full Four outfit the other day, including the hat and coat. When I stopped him to ask if he liked Doctor Who I received a very funny look.
Any one have similar experiences?

A couple weeks ago I was in an airport and saw a woman in some sort of brown jacket with shortish curly brown hair and a striped scarf, and I did such a double-take. Looked like Four had gotten a sex change, at first glance! xd
Oh, and I actually used to have a longish striped scarf-- not long enough it even reached down to my knees when I put it around my neck, but longish, and the stripes were kind of all these random colours-- but moths ate it up. sad That was actually before I was a Doctor Who fan, more or less.

This is kinda like it but when I went to a candy store in the mall, in the US, and I asked for some Jelly Babies and the guys acted like I was from Mars. So I described it to him and he was still acting like I was crazy @_@
I wish they'd sell Jelly Babies everywhere in the US crying

It took me four months to find a place that wasn't online that sold *something* Doctor Who-related.. turned out it was Borders. rolleyes

Well where I am it's kinda... way to warm for scarves... which is rather depressing. And I'm having trouble with the sizing of the 4th Doctor one I was going to get mum to make...
*sigh*
I wish I lived in the UK!!! I really do!

Thanks. Unfortunately I don't know how to knit myself, so my grandma did it for me.

It really is a great scarf. I'm making one myself, and it's compleatly acurate. All the colors, and everything. I got the pattern off of a website if anyone is interested. LINK

SCARF!!! I tried to knit my own but after multiple failures I went into a deep depression and never spoke of it again. With the occasional banging-head-against-wall.
