Lack of time to post, mostly. When I get on Gaia I usually check up on the Guild to see what's happening, but sometimes I can't post for a week or too.

I doubt it.

This one is the best to me.

I'm less interested in contests and a bit more interested in just getting some discussion going that is related to the sacredness of a given time of year. Get back to some of the practical applications of modern Pagan living! whee
-What kind of subforums do you want, if any?
I'm not a big fan of subforums and I think the philosophy "less is more" applies for small-ish guilds. Some subforums that might be appropriate would be places where informational posts might go. It wouldn't be expected that people would have lots of discussions there, but it would basically serve as an archive for threads that had good reference info in them.
-How interested are you still in Wicca/Paganism/Witchcraft?
Well, I still self-identify as Neopagan and a great deal of my life revolves around study related to my practice.
-Are there any other topics you think we should cover? If so, what?
Anything and everything. Things that particularly interest me though are some of the more 'serious' topics. Discussions on the nature of Neopagan theology and philosophy. Applying things from disciplines that aren't directly related to Neopaganism TO Neopagan living; I do that often. For example, I tend to study the sciences quite a bit because it adds understanding the Sacred Earth! There are tons of ways to expand the scope of our spiritual practice; study science of Earth, folklore, mythology, anthropology, psychology...

It has been slow for a while and there are other Pagan guilds I am in that have overall been more useful than this one. Those are the ones which have at times dealt with issues in more depth. I get tired of superficial, basic 101. There is something to be said about going back to the basics and really getting those down, though, and if that's done really well such a program would be awesome!

Honestly... I'm probably in too many guilds and I have limited time I want to spend on Gaia. I try to prioritize the guilds I MOD for first. I haven't been creating many new threads in general recently but where I do, I tend to put them up in the guilds I feel I'm more likely to get responses. Sorry about that. sweatdrop

Yes. I am not going to list everything; just the more directly "Pagan" guilds. If you *really* want to know all of them, check my profile; I think most of the guilds I'm in are visible. I'll name my favorite of these guilds, but I don't quite feel right making some evaluation of them all relative to this one. I've had some good discussions in just about all of these guilds.

*Sacred Sources (MOD) - currently my fav Pagan guild. We've got rather dedicated MODs and some good regular posters who have many interesting things to say!
*Ancient Echoes (MOD) - in its time, this was a good guild and I'd have listed it as prefered. Today it's pretty much dead now and forever since (A) I'm the only MOD who is around and most importantly (B) the owner account was hacked so new MODs cannot be recruited and many other important functions are unavailable.

One of the things I feel is missing from most of the 101 books out there is THEOLOGY. Of things that I don't know as much about that I'd like to see, though, I'm currently interested in learning a bit more about forms of meditation as well as learning more about Tarot (not just for reading; more of the historical background and origins).

Someone mentioned schelduled forum classes, that'd be really interesting. I really think group activities for sabbats would be neat, like when a sabbat is coming up, we set a time to come into the forum and...talk, or maybe learn how to do something individually and talk about it. My friend and I did something like that for Imbolc with Brigids Crosses, it was neat.

Meh, maybe specific things, like Debates, Q&As, Holidays, etc.

I found that some of the topics seem...a bit extraordinary, and i tend to not look through them, so i only stop by when i'm in one of my studying bouts.

Mmm, unfortunatly "Wicca" seems to have become negative to many of my intolerant pagan friends, so when they see the word in a title or description they automatically shy away, without ever really looking at it. bleh. people annoy me.

I believe I am, but I typically go on them even less than this one, probably because this was the first, so i prefer it. I dont even know what the others names are.

Wow, i've actually been a part of this guild for a year or so, but i haven't been very active. sometimes its hard over the summer.
so i figure i'll do this survey:
-What kind of activities do you want to see?
Um, what's going on now is fine, i guess, i like discussion kinds of things. But also, since i can't always have access to internet, i like stuff or posts that can be posted on or joined in anytime.
-What kind of subforums do you want, if any?
Well, maybe different types of Wicca. That might get too complicated though. Maybe different aspects of Wicca, that would be better (like Gods, Herbology, White Magic, etc)

i was, but they required too much online time and as result, were kind of exclusive. it didn't seem to embody the ideals of Wicca.

There's one with a titel something about a Forest. It's extremely inactive, so I prefer this one.
