A small, fertile cove on the coast of the mainland Fire Nation. On the outer part, soft, white beaches surround its ports while thick rainforests completely disconnect it from any other civilization. There is a small road leading through the forests along with many foot-paths (one is seen above). The road goes through a large, beautiful field where some people are seen farming and raising livestolk.

Tsuzuki stood in the fields outside of the forests, her feet hurting insanely bad. She had been walking since the last port and was very tired. The Earth Kingdom ship didn't know where her hometown was and couldn't take her directly there. Tsuzuki wasn't exactly always at sea so she didn't know much about directions on the sea. That was the main reason why she didn't help. The other had to do with why she was going home: the empending war between the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom.

She sighed to herself as she remembered the face of Baolin, a duke from the Earth Kingdom that she had befriended. She had to leave him and his friends from Amayen suddenly after her family had sent her a letter. She then thought of other letters that had been sent to her from Kazuki. He was more than a friend but she wasn't exactly sure if she was in love with him or not. She smiled to herself weakly as she remembered her letters back to him and how he'd probably show up here, unannounced. This conservative Fire Nation port that rarely saw anyone outside of the Fire Nation let alone the Northern Water Tribe Military Commander.

She saw the forests ahead and smiled; she was close to home. As she walked through, the trees cast a light shadow across her face. It was soft and comforting but nothing compaired to the warmth she felt when she stepped out into the city that was her home.

Tsuzuki walked throughout the small port, looking through the faces to see if there was any familiarity. It sorrowed her that the only familiar faces she could find were terrified of her. The population was much smaller than it had been before she left. There weren't as many elderly people as there were younger ones. But this was only the outside edges of the port which only had people that actually lived in the city staying there along with a small hotel for hikers and explorers.

She kept walking, keeping her face low as she went, until she began to reach the bustling market places. She could hear the loud murmur of a hundred voices packed into one, small square. And, as she turned the corner, she saw below her a hundred heads bobbing up and down, trying to make offers. She smiled and began to squeeze through the crowd, firebending only when she reached a particularly crowded spot. When she got through the market square, she looked in the direction of her house nervously.

She couldn't see it but she thought that she might as well spend one night in a hotel before she went back. She found the nearest one possible, paid for a room, and sat patiently down on her floor, meditating.

She cleared her mind like she had done so many times before and began to breath in through her nose and out through her mouth. Soon enough, all thought drifted away and so did all ties to the world. She was beyond herself and any human connection but not quite in the spirit world or anything as advanced as that. Her mind grew black as if she had been buried underground and she began to see.

"I won't have it! These charges are too much for any of us to bare right now!"

Tsuzuki opened her eyes to see a group of men gathered together. It was a dark room; so dark, in fact, that she couldn't see anything the candle's light didn't touch. The men were obviously from the Earth Kingdom, judging by their clothing and stature, and were worried about something. The one that had spoken before was obviously the leader and was furious about something, "The Fire Nation has taken over almost every major port! We can't afford any of these fees that they're putting down!"

Another man glared at him as he spoke and said, "There's a war going on between our nations. What did you really expect?"

"We'll just have to take one of their ports by storm," he mused and then pointed to a spot on the map that Tsuzuki couldn't see, "This place isn't protected all that well and could easily be defended."

The rest of them nodded and the image started to fade again. She began to come back to all the earthly things around her much more troubled than when she had left.

Kazuki fell on his bed and sighed as he layed on his long brown hair.

Tsuzuki awoke from her trance to the sound of many rhinos shuffling their tired feet below her window. She grew exited and flew out of her room, running down to the front desk and asking the old woman that tended the inn if the new arrivals were from the Water Tribe. She nodded and, at this, Tsuzuki squeeled happily and ran back upstairs, calling out as she went, "Kazuki?! Kazuki?!"

Kazuki slowly opened his eyes and walked to the door, he only was wearing a pair of sweat pants and no shirt. His taned yet masculent skin gave of strange feeling from what he looked like with clothes on. Which would be a girl. "Tsuzuki I got your letters and also I came right away." He said with a smile.

Tsuzuki saw him and her eyes lit up in happiness and exitement. She ran and hugged him; her hair brushed the underside of his chin as she was almost as tall as him now. "I was so worried about you," she whispered, not letting go, "All this talk of war has got me afraid for everyone."

"Don't worry about me. I will be alright just worry about your own safty. I am sorry I left and did not say anything it was kind of a secret mission type thing. But I see you have blossomed into a beautiful young woman haven't you" he said smiling down at her then lead her into the room he went and grabbed a light training T-shirt that sat next to the large gourd, he tossed the shirt on and then went back to her. "Trust me everything will be fine. If it comes down to it the water benders will be in the middle and stop everything, that is if we get the help of some air benders."

Tsuzuki smiled at him, "Thanks for the reassurance but I don't think you need to worry about me. If you heard what happened in Ba-Sing-Se, you wouldn't be too worried. Or you'd be even more worried than before."

She laughed at the memory and then said, mostly to herself, "Why don't I just tell you anyway?"

She then turned and held out her hand, "Go for a walk with me?"

Kazuki held his hand out and took hers then he pulled her towards him having her spin into his arms near his chest. "Lets go, its been forever since we talked." he said with a big smile.

Tsuzuki's heart thudded as she stood there for a moment, enjoying his company, then twirled out much more gracefully than her usual, clumsly self would allow and lead him down the stairs, "So, to start things out, I knew it would be cheaper to fare a trip to the Earth Kingdom and then to the Fire Nation and it would give me a chance to see more of the world."

She lead him out of the building into the sunny, mediteranean-like streets, as she continued, "Eventually, after a few weeks in the forest to myself, I get to Ba-Sing-Se. Long story short, I meet an Earth Kingdom Duke that allows me to stay at his place for information on the war. I knew just about as much as most people do now but he hadn't heard of any war plans at all. One day, we go out for tea and this waterbending Earth Kingdom soldier comes up to us after watching us for awhile and asks us if we wanna see something cool."

She paused to look at a few items on a booth in the market then continued as if she had never stopped, "So, I'm intrigued and bring Baolin (the Earth Kingdom Duke) along with me. We go into this Avatar temple only reserved for those of royal consent to explore those walls. Unfortunately, we're caught and the only way out is up; right through the courtroom in the palace's floor. Needless to say, once we break through, we're immedietly thrown into battle for our lives against the Dai Le ((sp?)). And, well, I'm a convict now so that doesn't help my position in the Earth Kingdom at all. I had to leave and come home."

Tsuzuki glanced nervously at the large mansion down the beach, "I'm just afraid to go back."

"Well if thats so I will go back with you, it sounds fun to break in to some heavily military area it reminds me on what I do at the North Pole. I use to always sneak in with a Fox mask and test the skills of all the benders and soilders, I have never been caught I am know as the Shadow Fox." Kazuki told her with a smile then looked up at the sky "Its almost a full moon. A few more days." he said

Tsuzuki smiled as she listened to Kazuki's story about his adventures as the Shadow Fox and thought that it would be fun to live like that, always on the edge. But, what he said last caught her off guard. She asked nervously, "What do you mean by that stuff about a few more days until the full moon?"
PostPosted: Thu Mar 15, 2007 3:48 pm

"I do all my strongest training in the full moon, also I do most of my thinking ablout life and everything. There is a myth that meditating on a lake in the moon light of a full moon, you can connect with the spirit world or other people in your area. Also its pretty for dates." Kazuki said with a smile

Tsuzuki blushed crimson as she grinned and replied, "Very deep. Been with a lot of girls on the full moon?"

She meant it as a joke and hoped that he wouldn't take it seriously.
