.The Meadow. (Image coming soon)
·About the Meadow:
Away from the shade of the Village Tree is a vast meadow ringed by forest. The meadow itself is divided by a small stream that bubbles down from the pond beneath the Tree, and is a gathering place for the myriad creatures that call this area home. As of recently, with the resurgence of the Ieldi, the Kyunru and Kun-Kuns have started taking up residence in and around the meadow to be closer to the deities they cherish.
·Important Places:
The Stream- Flowing through the centre of the meadow is a crystal clear stream. In some places, it can be easily hopped across, but in others it's deep enough to swim (If you're a Kyunru or Kun-Kun anyway). The stream is fed by the Village Tree's pond to the north, and continues on into the forest to the south.
Wildflower Field- At the eastern edge of the meadow, there is a brilliant array of wildflowers that lend their scent to the nearby areas each time the wind blows. It is a favourite spot of Kun-Kuns, who like picking the flowers and leaving them in the hair/mane/tails of others who are unsuspecting.
The Forest Shelter- To the west is a sheltered grove of trees that seems to be the new homestead of the Kyunru and Kun-Kuns. The gods themselves have shaped the trees to give shelter both in the branches and beneath in the ground, making it hospitable to the tastes of nearly everyone that dwells there.
The Water Caves- Just beyond the meadow to the south, the stream disappears into a cleft in the ground, surrounded by wind-scoured rocks. The cleft is wide enough for a child to fit through... or a Kyunru or Kun-Kun. Who knows what adventures are waiting in its depths? Be sure to take a light!

Estrella paused in the flowery meadow, a daisy hanging over her nose and a few others caught on her wings and tail. For once though, she didn't mind. She was feeling so good, so fuzzy and happy, that Estrella didn't care what happened to her fur.
And the sun was shining! Very rare for this time of the year!
She bounded out of the flowers and towards the forest shelter, across an upturned root and ducked underneath into a tiny dark root-cave. Then Estrella stayed there, waiting for some poor unsuspecting Kyrunu to come along for her to pounce...

Laying under the shade of a tree was Gabriel, whom looked half asleep, half awake, eyelids semi closed, allowing the soft breeze and the warm sunshine that seeped through the tall branches of the tree to warm his fur. Aaaah.... life was good; he was happy, warm, and.. uhm, yeah, happy. Plus, Fafnir was not around, which was a relief, for he and the runed kyun had somewhat of a sibblin rivality going on, actually, and allthough he respected the dragon... he rather not be around him, especially not if he was grumpy.
Yawning, the kyun looked off in a certain direction, his gaze falling upon Estrella as she pranced the medow, a slow smile tugging at his lips, "Yoh," he called softly from his place, allowing the child to ponder coming nearer... or not.

About two minutes later, and Estrella's angry telling off of a bug that had also tried to hide there, she remebered something.
She'd passed someone! And they'd called to her! Estrella stood up, shook her self and pranced through the forest in that direction again. Where cou... oooh... there he was.
She lowered herself to the ground, although Estrella's bright coloring stood out against the darker forest, and Estrella crept forward towards the nice older, if small winged, kyrunu...
And then she pounced on his tail with a loud cheery, "HELLO!"

A small pale kunkun fluttered about above the two kyuns. He watched them curiously, but positioned as he was near the lower branches of the tree, he couldn't flutter down to say hello.
Of course, the fact that he was tangled in brightly coloured string didn't help. He'd meant to tie it to one of the branches, but in his looping and fluttering he'd gotten himself into somewhat of a bind. "Malv! Ene ene ene..."

It took the young one several minutes... to er, notice the silver kyun had called to her; it rather much amused him, tell truth, and the fact she neared him in a stalking position, made him arch a brow up in question. However, he decided against spoiling her game, and merely played along, "Hello there... what? My tail happens to be your prey today?" he allowed the spikes to swish slightly, taking care not to hit her, and was about to edge closer to her when a voice from above made him frown.
Tilting his head, Gabriel turned his gaze towards the taler branches of the tree, noticing the kun rather much... stuck there, "Oh, for heaven's sake..."
A snort from behind him, made the silver kyun turn around, just in time to see Fafnir open his wings, beating them up and down once, twice, flying right up to the Kun, the dragon easily untied the string, nosing the smaller creature, "You should be careful next time," came his calm voice as he landed, tail swishing as he nodded towards Estrella before sitting down, rather much chosing to ignore them.

Oni stalked around almost silently. She crouched low in the tall blades of grass and peered at the kyunrus and kun-kuns before her. She snorted in an unladylike manner when she saw the little fluttering... nuisance... become trapped in string.

Suddenly, the dragon kyun's head snapped towards his right, slight snarl tugging at his maw, teeth baring ever so slightly as his eyes narrowed. He had no smelled that scent for a very long while, but still it made the fur along his back go on edge, "Gabriel..." he said no more, and merely motioned towards the near distance with a slight movement of his head.
"Har?" arching a brow, the silver kyun turned his head to follow his 'brother's' gaze. It took him several moments to actually notice Oni, crouching down, "Oooh... I see," a smirk cam eupon his maw, but he did not move, and instead called softly to her.

Unloved Oni glared at Fafnir, snickering silently at once again seeing The Deformed One. Her eyes did not linger on him for very long, however, since he is obviously so "beneath her". Instead, she turned to Gabe and crept towards him until she stood in front of him. "Hello." ((Sorry, got called for dinner n_n I'll be on and off for the next hour x_x parents.)) Still the snarl lingered upon the dragon's maw, his ice blue eyes gleaming as his ears flattened against his skull. All in all, he did not look at all pleased to see the demonic kyun, especially since it brought back memories. Sneering at the female, the elegant kyun turned his head upwards, obviously he too thought she was bellow him and not worthy of his attention. He'd have to lecture Gabriel later on about his .... taste in females later on. Instead he focussed his attenion on the lithe kun and the younger kyunru. Arching a brow, Gabe didn't even stand up, instead he eyed her, leveled, and even though he was laying down, he didn't grow smaller under her gaze, "Well, how has life bee treating you and that fire kyun?" his eyes narrowed down ever so slightly, but no growl rumbled through his chest, nor did his ears flatten against his head; they remained perked, more curious than anything.

Olly, finding himself quite untied by the dragon kyun, fluttered down after him with a happy squeak, leaving the string hanging where it was for now. He had a purpose for it, yes he did. "Sanuuk!" He landed precariously on the dragon kyun's head, and wrapped his little arms around an ear. "Very diff'cult, was stuck!"

We only talked but a few times." She shrugs. "How has life been treating you? Hanging out with The Deformed One, I see." Okaaay... Gabe frowned, looking rather much confussed. Actually VERY confussed, "Eh? But I thought you and him... got along quite well? Last time I saw you, you were trotting off with him and decided to leave me aside," he paused and looked over his shoulder at Fafnir, "I don't think he appreciates being called that... he lives with me now." "Fafnir," growled the dragon, ears flopping back instantly. However, he perked it back up as he felt the Kun hugging it. Blinking, he attempted to look up in order to see Olly better, but of course, was unable to, "I'll leave... you two alone, I ponder," snorting, he got up and trotted off some distance, not too far, for he was still able to see both Oni and the silver kyun, but far enough, then he let out a sigh, "Ah well... mind keeping me company, lithe one?" he was, of course, addressing the Kun, "And hopefully teach me what those words you speak mean?" he couldn't help it, his naturally curiosity and love for knowledge and learning was kicking in. Watching Fafnir trot off, Gabe shrugged slightly, "I've not been too bad; Hanging around the kyendi lounge more than anything; meet a few of the younger kyuns. The usual."

Estrella had been batting at the tail lightly, but the air had made her drowsy and she'd rolled over and fallen asleep in the long grass, her paws waving lazily in the air.
When she woke up, Gabe was gone. Estrella wasn't too concerned. He was boring anyway, right? So she stood up, and trotted through the grass to find someone else to entertain her.
