Yep, here's my current pairing obsession...SasuIno.

Most people don't like SasuIno, or consider it crack because Sasuke never bothered to get to know Ino, and Ino only liked him for his looks. Of course, this could be true, and could never change, but if Sasuke comes back, who is the first person you'd expect to accept him?
No, not Sakura.
No, not Naruto.
Ino.
Ino is the one person who never cried over Sasuke, and never really realized anything about him. Because of this, I think she'd be the best person to watch over him once he came back from the hell hole of Orochimaru. He's not going to be in normal shape when he comes back. There's bound to be unstability.
Sasuke, of course, would be annoyed with her, hate her, want her gone, but I think he'd realize that she's not just a fangirl, and that yes, Ino can be more than just a normal person. There are a lot of Ino haters, but I think she's more than just a 'b***h' with no personality.

So, Ino crushed on Sasuke, Sasuke ignored her.
So wtf? Where does SasuIno actually make sense?
Note that when Ino hugged Sasuke, he did not push her away, but merely scowled at her until she made a face at Sakura and let him go. HINT PLZ! BD
Sakura, however, has tried to hug Sasuke, and he has completely rejected her. Yeah erm....That's saying something. O-o, oh, I dunno, I've already explained all the 'facts' in my first post. XD

The big question is: Who would win Sasuke's affection? Sakura, or Ino?
Let's take a look...
Sakura was always with Sasuke, and was the first person he really got annoyed about. He cared about her, but I doubt after all that happened he could fall in love with her now. So, Sakura, cut out. XD
As for Ino...
Heh, maybe he could fall for her. It'd be weird, it'd be creepy, but it could happen. He doesn't know Ino well, besides from her fangirl side, and perhaps if he met the real Ino, he could fall in love with her...
Ino wins. XD
And if not, pair Ino and Sakura together, yup! =D It's perfect. heart

Good job! I have to say, I don't quite care for the pairing, but you did it well.
I found a very good fanfiction on dA (I thought it was SasuHina at first, since I was looking for literature on that in the search, but it turned out to be SasuIno)!

ooo I've been waiting for this to be open. I love SasuIno, it is one of the better Sasuke pairings besides SasuHina. Add to the fans and I have fan art too. blaugh

First, curse you Simone!!! >_< I never expected SasuIno fanart to be this gorgeous!! They LOOK perfect together in fanart!!!

Well, you've certainly given me a view of SasuIno that i have never seen before. I honestly thought it was completely impossible for them to be paired up and whatnot but after seeing your P.O.V it is has high possibilities; especially at the time-skip. Also, what you said that Sasuke didn't shove Ino away when he glomped him...true. I guess he doesn't think Ino is as annoying as Sakura. Probably because he doesn't spend that much time with her...
Still, although it has possibilities and they may seem good for each other in a way, I still think Ino's love for Sasuke is too superficial. I'm not really convinced that she could be right for Sasuke. See, Sakura's love for Sasuke is true and not fangirly while Ino was just fangirly; she didn't have the time Sakura had to get to know Sasuke which is a shame actually. In any case, I think that what Sakura felt for Sasuke will be too great for Ino to suddenly show up and Sasuke fall in love with someone he barely knows.
I don't know...I just think this pairing takes out Sakura's feelings for Sasuke, not so much as Sakura herself. So sorry but for now, put me under Anti. Also, I love SaiIno WAY too much!!! x3 But if NaruSaku becomes canon...I might root for SasuIno...>_>
