Austin phased into the agency. "Ok, any word on the dragon cane?" He was walking around like he owned the place, and was enjoying it.

He sat down at the main desk as lacky after lacky handed him information to look over.

Gaias sat down next to him. "Enjoying yourself?"

Austin blushed. "Yes...Mr. Direcotor....sir." He was nervous having the Head Director of the agency looking over his shoulder.


"This is a big case for you. The dragon cane has been out of circulation for years, we've been trying to find it even longer, and now that we have this information we may be one step closer to finding it."

"Yes sir." He found one piece of paper with some sales transactions. "Sir, this here shows the cane being bought and sold like an antique or something."

"Yes. We already knew that."

"I know sir, but it would stand to reason that whoever has it now would be rich enough to have purchased it."

"Believe me, we already thought of that. The fact is, that if a mortal didnt know what he had, he would be open for an attack by a demon. Any demon in the underworld could have it right now."

Austin was struck by an idea. "I dont think so sir... when I was a demon, I worked for one of, if not THE most powerful demon in the underworld. He was trying to aquire all of the dragon items to take down the dicio coven, but could only get his hands on the dragon amulet, which he gave to his daughter, Katana. (((Plot twist: Katana may have the power to posses now))). The agency had the blade, and he knew that, but he couldnt even find the cane."

"But if he couldnt find it, what makes you think you can?"

"Because I have a link. Jon. I'm going back over to the house tonight when its dark so I can follow the beam in through sky without being seen."

"Good idea." He got up and began to walk away, but turned slightly and looked back. "You know, you're shure shaping up to be a good addition to our team. I'm glad we took the risk to sign you on."

Austin smiled and went back to work.

Gaias and Dan teleported in. "Alright, lets get to work. Any agency member can teleport here, but the gate here," He pointed over to a demolished door. "is what connects us to reality. Its how Shadow was able to get in." He laughed. "We've got so many protection spells cast on this place, but he was still able to get in. I mean, you cant get in unless you where brought here by another member origionally, you cant manipulate time, you cant....well, we thought you couldnt get through that door without being let in." He stopped himself. "I need to stop talking and get to work."

He handed a small book to Dan. "You can use this spell to repair the door. I'm going to try and block Austin, or anyone else for that matter from comming in." He began reading over a book and chanting its incantation.

Gaias reached a pause in his chant, and decided to repond. "Shoot."

((No, actually I wouldnt. Where'd that come from.))

Gaias had a look of confusion on his face. He does have good reason to be suspicious(sp?), but the dude's way off. He laughed inside. "No, I really wouldnt. Maybe its connected to Jon's lack of memory in some way. We can look into it once this is done."

Gaias continued to chant while Dan was talking. "There, all done. Now no one can get in or out without my permission." He grinned. "That'll show Austin."

"So now we can focus on this memory loss thing. Did you guys ever find out what caused Jon's memory loss? I had Austin on the case, but now I can see why he never found anything."

"Alright, but first I need some help putting these shelves back up. Mind giving me a hand?" He formed a few rocks in his hand that he used to push the first shelf off the ground and back over to the wall.

Gaias looked over in the corner where it was obvious a minion was hiding. "Ok, now that we got the shelves up we need to start working on organizing all of these books. Give me a hand."
