Pick a side. Seriously.

I'm getting reports of at least two members of the PCG using the PLG as a haven for their personal attacks against other pro-choicers, and rest assured, when people go out of their way to message me, it's serious.

While I can understand being uncertain or questioning your stance, this behavior is unacceptable and if it doesn't stop, I'm getting out the ban hammer.

The Pro-Choice Guild has always taken pride in being a welcoming environment while maintaining the image of a group bolstered in solidarity. I will not stand to see my work splinter because we cannot deal with our differences like the responsible people we claim to both be and represent.

I saw the posts, and seriously, it pissed me off to see that - added on to the fact that certain users have been seeming to try to keep a foot in both camps and look good to both sides. If you don't like another pro-choicer for any reason, TELL THEM. Be polite, explain yourself, but tell them. Don't go off into the other guild and start badmouthing them and insulting them, especially in a publically viewable forum. It's obviously up to them to listen, but if you're polite, they should listen to you - if you badmouth and insult them first, that's not ******** likely. If you try to tell them and they don't listen, at least keep your venting in a hidden guild, or a friends-only journal, or just take it out on an inanimate object. People DO need to vent - but insulting someone in a forum all can see is just uncalled for even if you are venting.

Also, don't complain about what we say in the ADT and scream that it's wrong when all you do is sit in your guild and do this. If you think it's wrong, then REFUTE IT. Simply sitting in your guild and calling everything we say inaccurate, false, biased, etc. will simply make you look like you're trying to say this but you won't come out of your goddamn guild and actually try to refute it when you supposedly can. Quit complaining about being ganged up on in the ADT when all of you are just hiding in your nice safe guild complaining. I have said this time and again, over and over, here and even in the thread - yet that's what you in the PLG keep doing - sitting in your guild, complaining and whining or bitching. Either come out and debate, or shut up. That or keep complaining, which will get you nowhere and continue to piss off the people who do debate.

Also, Mipsy is a mod if you haven't noticed, and it goes to say that Veled was contacted not because Mipsy couldn't take care of it, but because how much of a slap to the face of guild members in general here it was.

I'll bet my keyboard you can't come up with a sig of hers that was intended to attack any speicific individual.

Mipsy, I said it there, because it was an aside in that topic at the moment, and I'll say it again to you (or as directed as I can be on a public forum). I think you have a sever anger issue, as well as other issues. I think that you are mean to many people, including both Pro-Choicers and Pro-Lifers. I think that many of your signatures are frankly offensive, and you attack very specific topics in them as a way to slight specific Pro-Lifers. You have been on and off of my ignore list because I don't deal well with anger and sometimes your posts are so angry that I feel the need to just get rid of them.

I don't think that you are a bad person, and I don't dislike you. If you feel that the mature and proper response to me stating that I believe you are a very angry person who has some issues to work out is to ban me from this Guild (even though I am Pro-Choice and so meet the requirement here) then do so.

I am wondering exactly why someone stating that you are angry or hateful, which is really all that either Needles or I did, makes you react in such a way as to prove our points...

The comments made by a few choicers in the PLG infuriate me.

It is one thing to join the opposition's guild in order to promote tolerance for both sides; but, it is quite another to utilize that opportunity to publicly decry a specific choicer with whom you cannot get along with.

The attacks on Mipsy's character are nothing short of unspeakable -- the choicers involved in creating those comments, and who further condoned the comments made by lifers in the very same thread, ought to be ashamed of themselves.

You say that you want to promote tolerance? You want a pro-life/pro-choice alliance to exist? Why don't you first work to resolve the differences between those with whom you share a common ideology first? You cannot foster tolerance between two groups if you cannot tolerate those members within your group to begin with.

And, I mean really, I would have expected a lifer to make such comments, but to find that choicers were actively participating and condoning open ridicule of a fellow choicer -- this really upsets me.

I expected more from you people.
