This is a thread for Myself, BlackPidgeot, Nokomis Midnight and [Alchemis.exe] to Rp Nessa, Envy and their new hoard of little ones.
Nessa lounged in Envy's shadow as they relaxed next to the tree that they had sought shelter in during the previous snow storm. The snow for the most part had diminished, leaving behind relatively nice weather and a gentle breeze that still hinted at how cold it could get, should they stay.
"Hmm.... Envy?" she started softly, wagging her tails lazily as she debated on how to explain the fact that she thought they would have a family soon.

Envy was resting comfortable among the pineneedles next to Nessa... sprawled on his side and his chin resting on his forepaws. However, as she spoke... one of Envy's eyes slid open to look up at Nessa, "Hm?" The sin seemingly not all that much in a hurry to be moving anywhere.. and naturally completely oblivious to whatever his female companion might be thinking.

"I think... perhaps we shall have a family soon." Nessa said, acting nonchalant about the possibility, but at the same time wondering what he thought should it be a reality instead of just a thought.
The scarf around her neck shivered a bit in the cold, it too was no sure of the outcome of that revelation.

Lifting his head.. the homunculus Kitsu looked decidedly perplexed. "Eh?" brows raised and eyes showing a slightly baffled yet annoyed look... as if he could read minds. Being a male... he was incredibly dense about.. female things. Being a homunculus only added to that.

"Well, I believe we're to have young of our own soon." Nessa replied, raising her head to look at him. "I have a feeling we will be seeing the eggs very soon, in fact."
She didn't think males were that dense. Oh well, she didn't think she could get much more detailed than to say that all the time they had spent together... doing things, that there were developments.

There was a long pause as he sat up.. that same bewildered expression on his face as the silence reigned for several moments. "... .... .......................... ... And?" ... What was he supposed to do about it? If you thought he knew anything about... er... delivering babies... think again! o_O

Nessa blinked at him. "And, I hope you'll be helping me take care of them?" She was new to this too, and didn't know quite what to expect either. Other than there would be eggs first, then kits, then onward to the later stages of life.
The scarf almost sighed and flipped itself up to reveal four small eggs that had been bundled, and had already been delivered.

He just stared at her blankly... until the scarf lifted and revealed four little eggs. Envy's eyes widened and he drew back as if they were the scariest things he'd ever seen in his life. "AGH! Where did those come from?!" His fur stood on end for a few moments... until he settled down and frowned, creeping forward again to sniff at the little... things. It took him a bit to process it. Sure.. he was pretty intelligent.. but as far as offspring, he was utterly clueless. A smirk soon appeared on his muzzle and he settled down once more. "I suppose it would be entertaining." That was as much of a yes as Nessa would probably get out of him. Still... he inspected them, a paw poking at the one that was wrapped in a little black scarf. The sin then gave Nessa's scarf a suspicious look, "That thing breeds too?"

"I guess so." Nessa grinned, looking at all the eggs. Oddly enough, for one that was so solitary, she was feeling the maternal instincts heavily right then. "Those two look like you.... they have the marking on your leg. Do you think they'll have abilities too?"
The scarf would have rolled it's eyes, if it had eyes that is.

Upon closer inspection, Envy realized that Nessa was right. Two of them did have the mark of ouroboros on them. "Perhaps.." although he really wasn't sure if they would have his abilities or any at all. They would have to wait and find out. Obviously.. the scarved egg took after Nessa... and the sin pondered the silvery one, "The markings on your leg, matches this one." He then draped his tails around Nessa and the eggs in a rather posessive fashion. These are his, dangit... woe be to anyone or thing that dared mess with him or his... dare he think it.. family?

Nessa smiled. She was incredibly happy. It had all happened so fast but what can one do? They had four little eggs to show for what they had done and gotten involved in, she didn't regret it at all. It was interesting having two eggs with similar markings to herself and two to Envy. It would be a curious thing indeed should two of them have powers of some kind...

These eggs couldn't have asked for a better guardian. After all.. there were few that would dare mess with the homunculus Kitsu as he's started to gain quite a reputation for his ruthlessness. Tails were curled around the still eggs, keeping them warm and allowing them to incubate. While Nessa slumbered, he remained awake... the homunculus having little need for such things, although he sometimes feigned slumber. Which he was doing at this point. A paw was draped over Nessa's midsection, head resting on her shoulders while ears stood straight up. Occasionally, if he heard a sound, the sin would peek open his eyes to look... only to close them once more as he decided it was nothing.

The green bat egg began wiggling, it seemed to be getting restless. At the same point, so did the egg that had the most black involved with the red marking similar to Envy's. It seemed they were waking up from their nap.
Nessa yawned. She could sense the movement though she was rather content just relaxing. But if need be, she would get up to help the eggs get out their energy. "I wonder if this is a prelude to how our eggs will act once they hatch... as kits... and become much more mobile..." she stated, looking towards Envy's tails where the eggs were, for the moment, corralled.

An ear turned as Nessa yawn and spoke.. the only responce he gave though, was a grunt. He didn't really know the answer to that. After all, the isn had no experience when it came to eggs or kits. It would be a bit of trial and error with him. He could feel the wiggling of the eggs as well, and tilted his head back a bit to focus his magenta gaze on them. It seemed as if they couldn't hatch fast enough, those two. "How long will it take?" he then thought aloud.

"Not sure... this is a first for me too..." Nessa admitted. "Maybe I should go find my mother and ask her? She would know, being that she had me."
She rose slowly, stretching her forelimbs and legs before going over to the eggs and nuzzling them. Of course, she couldn't forget Envy and nuzzled him as well before making her way back to that end. "You guys are rather energetic here... What's the ruckus?" she asked them.
In return, the little eggs wiggled more, as if they could actually hear and were getting more enthused.
