I have finished cycling my tank and today i went to my LFS and bought guppies.... 2 females that appeared small (not pregnant or not to far along ) and a beautiful snakeskin male.
I came home and acclimated them and i checked on them frequently throughout the day.... this last time when i checked on them i noticed a tiny baby....
I know guppy habbits and they may have been pregnant AND given birth
...but....
I had 1 male 2 female long fin danios... and the male likes chasing my females around.... maybe they had babies.... My larger female is gaurding the spot where it looks like the most babies are gathered.....
I dont know what do you think? The babies are VERY small (less then 1 cm and VERY thin ) and dark towards the head and have a clear tail....
any ideas?

If they have clear tails, they're probably danio fry.

I found 2 baby fish recently in my tank that has only 2 zebra danios in it, and they match your description. These are the first fry that I've ever taken care of (they are in a different -smaller- tank away from the adult danios right now eating fry liquid food)
I'd love to hear some update on your fry and how you took care of them. 3nodding

Only 2 survived. They are long fins as I suspected. -nods-

Hey again. Just recently after the Zebra Danio eggs in my tank hatched- It appears that one of my Kuhli loaches is full of green eggs now. Not sure if anything will hatch, since I don't know the gender of the other loach in the tank.
I have a "2-way floating breeder" with the V-shape in it for eggs to pass through. (it looks more suited for livebreeders, but it could still contain any small fish.) Should I separate this loach and see if anything happens, or instead provide moss/low level gorwing plants ? Loaches hate light, so I would have to find some way to cover they plstic container add lots of greens in it if I decided to move her.

A ground cover plant would be good... Or if you have another tank set up, you could try it.
