If Yzma was right...Izusa stumbled around, her wings hanging limply as if she had injured the both. Her tail dragged behind her as well as she wandered in a zigzag fashion towards the spot - well where it happened basically. She hadnt seen Guilian since then, and despite her mixed up feelings over him, and over what they had shared, had forced herself not to look for him. But now..she had become more hungry during the past few weeks and although her bouts of insanity had lessened, she found herself more emotional, and was prone to feelings of loneliness, and was disliking her self imposed solitude. And when her familiar commented on how she had seemed to be gaining weight around her middle she had reluctantly sought out the human, standing under sufferance whilst Kaliska felt and probed her belly carefully. In shock after that, she had staggered up here. She blinked, dragging her wings up, folding them against herself as she swung her head around, trying to catch his scent.

One might not expect a player to keep his word; one might, in fact, doubt that such characters even had one. However, Guilian was not most players.
Ever since that fateful day when he'd managed to truly tangle with a kalona, he had stayed in the gneral area. He hadn't been celibate, of course, but that hadn't been part of the agreement and so he felt no qualms about taking advantage of feminine company as the mood took him and the situation warranted...
But today, neither was the case. Today, he was enjoying the simpler pleasures; specifically, he was lounging quite peacably in a mossy hollow, nesting fresh roses into his mane and tail.
Yes, life was good...

She could smell him now, his scent bringing up memories..pleasant ones. Izusa shook her head savagely to dislodge them and stomped onwards, finally coming across the stallion, who was looking quite the dandy, relaxed and tricked out in flowers; 'The thorns shall p***k you, and bleed you - but not enough to stop me from having that pleasure.' she said, the words coming out harshly.
The idea that their enjoyment had resulted in offspring had been a crazy thought - so she had supposed. But she was faced with the reality of her - their! situation. She was carrying his foals. And they would be half-breeds..

"I assure you, Chica, I know how to protect myself from thorns." The reply was absent, spoken with virtually no inflection; in fact, Guilian didn't even raise his head, interest focused almost exclusively on the flower he was fiddling with.
However, that disinterest lasted about as long as it took him to realize the significance of what was being said, or rather, who was speaking. Raising his head rapidly in surprise, taking in the mare's prescence and the angry twist of Izusa's face. Beyond that...
Perplexion was evident on the stallion's face for a long moment as he rose to his feet, looking at Izusa as though she had finally gone mad. "Chica, I'm not sure why you..."
He trailed off, eyes widening in disbelief as his new angle brought to light a distinct change in the mare's body shape; gone now was the lithe and lean form that had so intrigued him, and instead was a swollen and somewhat cumbersome looking belly that seemed all too reminiscent of...
"Chica, please tell me what's going on." He had a hunch, an terrifying hunch, but until he heard it, he could hope!

'Do not "Chica" me!' she growled, her voice becoming louder, as she moved restlessly around, her tail lashing at each step, whipping out dangerously close to Guilian at each lash of the tendrils.
'You said this would not happen! I never, should have not let myself feel and now I have a belly full of your seed!' her wings trembled, anger running through her..fear as well, she was a first time mother after all and she had no idea what to expect.

She'd said it; said it and confirmed his fears, which at the moment even outweighed the fact he had a furious kalona seemingly intent on his blood. That was a less distressing than the realization that was washing over him like an icy wave.
A belly-full of his seed, huh? She was CARRYING HIS FOALS, something that had NEVER happened in the history of his debauching, and that had been quite some time. Not once had any of those unions resulted in offspring, so WHY now? Why?
Almost mechanically, he dodged away from the tendrils and lashings of the mare, an absently mullish and concerned expression on his face. "I don't understand. NEVER before has anything like this happened, and logically it should not have happened! There is no precedent, no reason, no NOTHING!"
How could this be happening to him?

'Well it has..' she said firmly, in no mood for him to deny how she looked, or her condition. Did he think she had merely put on weight? He was just heaping pain upon pain, making her more furious with everything he was doing - and saying.
She blinked at his words - could he have said anything worse? 'I am NOT YOU!' she ground the words out between gritted teeth, a wing flashing close to his face, whipping it near him in her fury. 'I have not mated with anyone but you..'

"No one is saying you are me, Chica! I make no accusations, draw no defenses. I am merely baffled."
Dodging the wing yet again, Guilian began to pace, his own surprise and shock at the whole situation likely earning him no brownie points; then again, this was in a way as new to him as it was to her, only moreso!
However, now that the realization was starting to sink in, his old aura of charm and common sense were starting to make return appearances. Glancing at the kalona, he gave her a look both rueful and resigned. "You say you have known none but me; I KNOW you knew none before me, and I have no reason to doubt you, so I do not. But this is a novel thing for me, so please refrain from trying to kill me for my shock."
A reasonable request, right?

'The accusation that the fault lay with me was in your saying it should never have happened!' It was a good thing that Izusa was very lucid right now, his way with words might have confused her more then anything. She slapped the wing back, folding it so quickly that she inadvertantly hurt herself and she grimaced a little. 'If I killed you it would be sustenance for your children..' she sniped after listening to his pleadings. She sniffed the air. 'However, what you did to me back then twisted my insides..I could not, although I wish to.' She backed up a little, tail still twitching like as though she was an infuriated feline.

Guilian didn't usually have a temper, but when his nerves were acting up as they were now a little bit of annoyance was probably entitled. "And it SHOULDN'T have happened, because it never has before and not through lack of opportunity! That doesn't change the fact that it DID happen, and since it DID happen..."
Fire danced in Guilian's black eyes, albeit briefly, before he realized just how ridiculous this particular arguement was. Shaking his head at his own behavior, he managed to give Izusa a wry smile. "So nice to know that you're thinking maternally, Chica, even though the details still leave a bit to be desired. And my thanks for your consideration; my spirit would weep were I unable to see my first ever foals."
He was starting to calm down now; put a bit of space and a little time out there, and he was fine. Shell-shocked, but fine.

This was getting hurtful..and she knew hurt. 'So because it was me, it shouldnt have happened? I am such a nothing to you..spiky thing to do and discard.' Izusa turned away from him, looking into the distance. Why did his shock hurt so bad? It was hard enough for her to know that she was carrying his children but his reaction was difficult to bear. 'Are you sure you have a spirit..' she muttered. 'You should have been a Kalona.' she injected an amount of the emotion she always kept hidden away; if she was going to do this mothering crap, he had to do the fathering stuff as well, and she knew he would feel guilt if she sounded wounded enough.

"It shouldn't have happened because it has never happened before, Chica! It doesn't matter if you're horned and spiky or wingless or fluffy and pink, a kalona, a unicorn, or a cuttlefish!" She was missing the point, and this was insane enough without adding confusion to the mix. But something far back in his mind, something he'd once heard about pregancy and hormones, was nagging at him. Maybe he should just calm down.
Taking a deep breath, he exhaled it rather pointedly, willing himself to calm down. All this was accomplishing was...well, nothing, to be frank.
But he certainly felt better. Or at least, sort of; her words were a bit unsettling, but he'd deal with that as best he could.
Smiling a bit, he stepped forward, taking the chance that she WOULDN'T try to kill him as he moved beside her and gently, gently nuzzled her stomach. "Never to discard, Chica. I am still here, am I not? Though I suppose that I'll have to get used to being around here, for if we are to be parents then these foals will need their father. Who else is to teach them how to handle the trials of the world?"

'Something not happening before does not mean that it will never happen. I have never before thought I would roll around with a feathery winged stallion..' Izusa said dryly, tired of trying to argue that particular point with him. Did he think it was her fault? He kept going on about how 'it had never happened before!'. She rolled her eyes before turning to face him once again. She let out a long warning noise as he approached her, her body stiffening, unsure as to what exactly he was about to do. 'Teach them what? How to find their place in the world when they are neither one nor the other?' her ears went flat. 'I did not ask for this..' she muttered, still freaked out by the whole thing herself.

And he had? Hardly; children meant a commitment to one place, to keeping another fed and watched and provided for...and a distinct wrench in his lifestyle.
On the other hoof, though, he knew that many mares were attracted to the virile sort, and with a child or two, no one would ever doubt his virility! Not that they had ever had of course, but this could always be considered a bonus.
Having kids might not be so bad, really; getting to influence little minds, shape beliefs...and he was CERTAIN that any child of his would be gorgeous, which was another plus.
All of these things passed through his mind as he listened to Izusa, his cheek still resting against her belly. She didn't sound too delighted either, but then...
"Not one nor the other, but both, Chica, and the best of both. There's no reason for them to not take advantage of that. And we will manage; I have supreme confidence in our ability to previal. We had our fun, now have to handle the consequences?"
That sounded very...mature.

'No more mares for you.' Izusa suddenly said, having been lulled into almost a placid state by the gentle nuzzling to her heavy belly. Inside the foals shifted, causing her discomfort. 'You had your fun I seem to recall..' was her biting reply to his latter words. 'I can hardly dodge this responsibilty after all - they are inside me, not you.' Her tail twitched as she felt the ire rise inside her. She let out a calming breath; well one designed to calm at least. If she tore him up then he would not be around to carry his share of this burden and she would be damned if she was doing this on her own. She had an idea that foals werent exactly easy to raise.
