So, Gay people can either be pro-life or pro-choice, or can not care at all about the issue whatsoever, just like everyone else. I'm feeling a little bit of heat on the pro-choice side against gay pro-lifers, because we're supposedly masquerading under a left wing facade when I have a right wing agenda, and that's just stupid.
I'm sorry, but my sexuality does not define what I believe or what rights I think people should or shouldn't have. Is it my business what happens in an abortion? You bet it does. All human life matters to me, and that's not going to change.
Saying that, it seems oh-so popular to link gay and pro-choice together, as if they go hand in hand. The two articles That I'm posting here, and here, make a valid point for both sides that I think is quite intriguing.
So what do you think guys-- How do gay members of both the pro-life and pro-choice community fit into the big picture? What do we represent to our respective sides?

just what you said- sexuality has nothing to do with your morals or political party or the car you drive.

Well, almost all of the pro-choicers I've seen support gay marriage, so I used to make the assumption that Pro-lifers were almost always straight, but now I know better of course. I never had anything against gay Pro-lifers, though. ^ ^ I just believed the generalization for a while.

I have found that the majority of homosexuals and bisexuals I have met are liberals. And that most liberals tend to be Pro-Choice.
However, I don't really think that someone's sexual orientation is any reason for them to have a specific opinion on abortion (or any other topic, for that matter). Politics is a strange area of life, and many people don't fit into specific molds that seem to be assumed in general life.
Isn't there a group of Gay Republicans -- I think they are called the Log Cabin Republicans?
I know there is a group of Pro-Life Feminists -- I forget the name though. Is there a Pro-Life Homosexual group?

You were right about the log cabin republicans.
Pro-life Alliance of Gays and Lesbians (PLAGAL) is the pro-life homosexual group. heart

You don't have to be a Republican to be pro-life and you don't have to be a Democrat to be pro-choice, however, as you already mentioned, the two are usually associated with each other. But to assume that all gay people are going to automatically be pro-choice is just stupid.
Oh and about that particular signature I've seen some choicers sporting around that says, "Pro-life Homosexuals: taking away women's rights so we can get ours." is bull s**t in itself and is just a personal attack I think. If somebody is saying that then they obviously don't understand the pro-life side at all, which is having value for human life regardless of the stage of life it is in.
I'm probably a really weird individual. I'm Christian, pro-choice, anti-death penalty, anti-illegal immigration, pro-gay rights/gay marriage, etc. I'm sure there are more things I am I just can't think of them all right now.
I'm a libertarian too if that makes it more understandable why I believe all of the things I do. xD

On topic, I don't think your sexuality should have ANY place anywhere except in your own life. Gay and want to marry? Fine and dandy, who the ******** cares which sex you're marrying. Gay and want to play an intense game of golf? Who the ******** cares if you're ******** the caddie (unless you're married, then your significant other might care)? Gay and believe that the fetus has a right to life? Who the ******** cares if you weren't the one that knocked up the mother?

i would like to ask- why is pro-life seen as anti-feminism? isn't it less feministic to imply that women need (at least the availability of) an operation to be equal to men? isn't it less feministic to imply that women are too weak to handle the natural tasks of womanhood?
