When your body digests the food you've eaten, gasses are created as a (quite unfortunate) byproduct. The gas can't stay in your body so you fart.
They smell because they do. Not much you can do about it.

Ofcourse you could make yourself a human test subject and try eating flowers and drinking perfume. Maybe you'll start pooping rose petals and when you fart you'd be an air freshener. rofl

Class farts are the best XD well...very stinky but...hilarious...
the kind that the whole class is quiet...and suddenly *pffft*...
everyone stares...then u hear someone else go *pfft*....and it's
like...class evacuates XD *sounds the fire alarm*
