Hello, my name is Liz and I am a senior in high school. In order to graduate, I am taking an extended essay class. I am writing a research paper on Gothic Lolita and the Lolita subculture and I need some help. Please take this survey, it is only 10 questions long and answering them is simple -- just respond with a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 for each question!
***1= negative response (no, poorly, bad, not at all, etc.)
***3= neutral
***5= positive response (yes, very well, good, etc.)
1. On a scale of 1-5, how closely do you identify with the Lolita movement?
2. How good do you feel about yourself when you wear “normal” clothes?
3. How good do you feel about yourself when you wear Lolita clothes?
4. How accepted do you feel by strangers when you wear “normal” clothes?
5. How accepted do you feel by strangers when you wear Lolita clothes?
6. How well are you treated by others when you wear “normal” clothes?
7. How well are you treated by others when you wear Lolita clothes?
8. How accepted do you feel by people you know when you wear “normal” clothes?
9. How accepted do you feel by people you know when you wear Lolita clothes?
10. Do you think that wearing Lolita clothes affects your attitude compared to when you dress “normally”?

I'm unsure if my survey will help much since I never really wear normal clothing... (I have a very dynamic and thearical wardrobe.)

thank you so much, everybody! and it's alright if your wardrobe isnt really 'normal'. this is all so helpful. 4laugh my project is going great! i just have to make a skirt now... sweatdrop but that shouldn't be too hard because there is so much useful information in these forums! whee heart ~liz

I hope this helps. Unfortunately, I have yet to wear Lolita fashion in public, but I know my friends reactions to it and I can make a pretty good guess at the reactions of the people in my town.
