has anyone else noticed that Gaia's Barton Town shares the same name as one of our favorite Gundam pilots? (cough *trowa* cough) is this a coincidence or no?

Hm I wonder, if it's the only town or if there are others eg Duo, Quatre ect. Then it'ld be more then a co-incidence, for now I'm leaning to co-incidence.

I had someone in my high school class with the last name of Barton. Then another last year in college. It's a fairly common name.
Unless this is some sort of trend in Gaia. I'm not sure.

I think it's just a common name. It has a nice ring to it.

Though I'm sure I've never met anyone with the last name Barton, it is a common name, as the others are saying. However, everytime I hear a familiar name from GW (like Barton or Maxwell *Giggles at the coffee commercial*) I giggle. ^_^

I had a substitute homeroom teacher senior year of high school who's name was Mr. Maxwell. He was the middle school girl's soccer coach.
I would get all giggly whenever I had to say his name-- though I did have the sense to not do it to his face and let him know how psychotic I am.
My boyfriend already knows I'm retarded, so it's OK. xd

I don't know how many people in this guild watch Fullmetal Alchemist....but I was just watching a clip of the last episode...a fighting scene between Ed and Envy and I noticed that Envy does this flying leap-twirl move that looks an awful lot like the infamous jump-twirl that Trowa does in Gundam Wing...it is quick and is over in a second, but I'm sure it's there...
Coincidence???

I know a Corey Barton... and he's a Gundam Wing fan... We used to laugh about it a lot. We even wrote up bios for the Gundam Wing pilots so we could use them in a Star Trek RPG. sweatdrop We're geeks.

I knew a Corey Barton too. eek
One thing I've always wondered is why I haven't heard of a Relena. For me, it seems as common as Elaina or something similar. I can't imagine running into a "Heero" or "Zechs", but Relena just seemed to have more of a ring to me.
Anyone met a Relena before?

Relena probably sounds like it should be a common name because there are some similar-sounding girls' names, like Elena.

I may try to convince my future wife to name our daughter (or one of them, if more than one is born) to name her Relena, if she isn't too fiercely attached to Hannah and/or Katrina.
