Visible from town at night are a few squares of orangey light, spilling from the windows of a small house on a hill. The grass around it is interrupted here and there by little gardens and plots of dirt, a garden-to-be, a mudbath. Its construction is simple, unpainted wood, not yet aged. It is called a cottage, but is no pioneer's log cabin; it's a little retreat for those who love the town, yet long for the wilderness.
Downstairs is the kingdom of Tsukiba, the base of operations of his Porcelain adoption agency. The door opens into a small living room dominated mostly by a much-abused dark green couch and an ordinary coffee table. A moderate-sized closet is stuffed to the brim with all sorts of nonsensical knicknacks, from crayons to chibi-cellos.
The living room is fused into the kitchen, allowing the cook to keep an eye on the antics of the children. A simple white refrigerator, simple white counters, a stove, a sink. All the utensils are kept stowed away under the counters, so the small Porcelain can easily reach them. The refrigerator usually has strange things magneted to it, like obscene drawings by Junyi.
The backroom has a few beds where homeless Porcelain can sleep, a dresser, and piles and piles of boxes containing clothes, momentos, and mysterious substances. It is Tsukiba's official bedroom, but he is usually so busy in the rest of the house he spends no time in it. In the corner of the room is a ladder leading up to a private set of rooms -- the attic, Wenyuan's residence.
The single room of the attic is cramped, almost claustrophobic. A single bed sits against a large window, allowing Wenyuan to get his sunlight in the morning. A desk sits at its foot, covered in papers and books filled with arcane scribblings, but a small area is kept carefully clear to make room for a brush and inkstone. A beanbag smelling of strange concoctions marks Celestine and Ten'ato's territory; Celestine also owns a card table on which sits a box of essential oils and a wide variety of mixing apparati. To the side is an altar on which rests an incense burner, and if Wenyuan is home, Mengde's helmet and a bowl of rice. All Wenyuan's clothing is stuffed into a single dresser. The walls are undecorated except for a beautiful wen jian carefully displayed.

Blood Type: ABWenyuan is fairly reclusive and not well-known, but even to those who know him, he is always a bit mysterious. One can't even be sure of his personality, as he continually moves from one archetype to the next, depending on the situation; he could be a chipper chibi, calm sage, or creepy old pervert. Most of the time, though, he is quiet, friendly, and very very strange. Only a few of his closest friends know that he is actually a Construct -- the creation of the sorceress Heiyue, part tree, part ghost, and infused with her half-Dream blood. This might account for his multiple personalities, but definitely accounts for his tendency to be possessed by his ghost, a condition he calls "fits" that causes all sorts of strangeness.

Tsukiba is very calm and controlled for a Porcelain, though, and outwardly more responsible than Wenyuan. Domestic affairs take up most of his time, but he is also a skilled musician, dancer, and magic swordsman.

She tends to be extremely jealous of other women in Wenyuan's life who seem more important than her, so she doesn't always get along with people like Arezou or Heiyue. She has a weird talent for mixing essential oils, and seems capable of concocting a cure for anything.

He's Mengde's insufferable fanboy and follows him around everywhere, making Wenyuan feel unloved. He's usually too paranoid and twitchy to make friends.

The offspring of a man from Dream and a mortal heroine, she is an extremely powerful sorceress belonging neither to the material world nor that of Dream. She is generally expressionless, very quiet, and very shy, only interfering with the affairs of mortals when they summon her. She usually seems distracted, occupied with affairs she is unable to express in human terms. However, she created both Anyue and Wenyuan, pointing to what might be a very human loneliness. Although Wenyuan lives on his own, she visits him frequently and is always quick to rush to his side when he is sick or in danger. She is intensely protective -- even possessive of him. Wenyuan sometimes speaks of her in terms of disgust. But sometimes, it sounds as if he really has some affection for her.

Blood Type: OAnyue is Heiyue's first Construct, and thus Wenyuan's "elder brother." Built primarily as a weapon, he is immensely strong with intense will and loyalty; he fears no battle. However, he lacks a humanlike intelligence, and aware of this, will often shy away from interacting with mortals, afraid they will shun him. Generally, though, he is open and kind, very emotional but optimistic. He follows Heiyue wherever she goes, seeming to love and worship her with every atom of his soul. He and Wenyuan are on friendly, but not intimate, terms. Wenyuan is also close with many mortals -- Mintaka, Prolixity, and Perri Indiya are some of his good friends. He is especially close with Arezou, although the true nature of their relationship is hard to tell; it might not even be what she, or he, thinks it is. Wenyuan also hates Junyi, but he refuses to say why...

A. Wenyuan and his miscellaneous pets and characters RP in size 9 text. Tsukiba RPs in size 9 text and darkblue color. Tenran RPs in size 9 text and blue color; Kazeshi, in darkred. ((Wenyuan's OOC comments are in size 12 text, surrounded by double parentheses.))
