Would you play the game if it actually were made? I would--though I'd probably very old if they do. I'd still play. You don't need to physically fit to play a virtual game. mad D

Yeah she means if there really was "The World" with the virtual reality and stuff. Someday there might be, and I am waiting for that day.

It would kind of be like a dream come true.
Closest we can come is mmos and a bit of our imagination I guess..
LARPS are close too, lol.
Though slightly humiliating at times... sweatdrop xd

judging by the responces in this thread I am going to make some people verry sad with the news I carry.
they actualy did start makeing a real .hack game for the PS2, it was to be called .hack fragment. The idia was scrapped after someone braught up the thaught that not enough people would play it to make a profit.

Yeah thats a problem, if theres not profit to be made the game makers won't make it.

That version kinda sucks because you have to be Kite. we're talking about making our own characters.

I love MMORPGs. I've played the .hack// games on ps2, but they aren't massivly multiplayer, though they try to make it seem as if it is. There are other games out there where you make your own character and play with real people but they aren't as immersive as .hack// is, mostly because we don't have the technology. When the technology for virtual reality gaming becomes developed and affordable it woun't be too long before a .hack// like games is developed.

No; I mean an actual online game with the virtual headset. The World, not .hack//Infection or //Mutation.
I mean the real World where you can make your own character, walk around, literally, buy stuff, feel pain, die, and try not to get your a** hacked.
Not the PS2 game--the computer people.
...watch out for Tri-Edge; he's a doosey.
