  Shilah laid down by the river and looked up at the sky and the passing clouds lost in his thoughts. He shook his head to get out of his train of thought and looked around trying to think of something to do. He had wondered around for quite a while, and he did not know what there was to do now.
He looked around to see if there were any other soquili nearby. He did not see anyone and sighed softly to himself. He had grown somewhat bored of the same old scene and he wished that he had someone to talk to.

Qismah trotted about, wandering again. She had taken a liking to wandering and never staying in the same palce since she had reached adulthood. She often visited her parents of course but there was nothing like the wind in her face and a lovely new scene each day. She let out a loud neigh, happily greeting the day. It was at that moment she caught sight of someone new. She hadn't met too many others yet. It appeared to be a goldeny colored stallion with dark markings and a dark mane and tail. How interesting. Perhaps he would be of interest to speak to and maybe a new friend? She could always use a new friend to talk to aside from her dear brother.

Shilah looked up quickly when he heard someone neigh. He smiled to himself when he saw that it was soquili he had never met before. Maybe his day was going to become more interesting. Curious, he stood up and walked closer to get a better look at the mostly black and white mare that was not too far away from him.
When he was a few yards away from the other, he stopped not wanted to get too close. He did not want to disturb the mare if she did not want to be bothered. He stood there looking at her, his mane and feathers blowing in the light breeze, then he nickered softly to her.

Qismah grinned widely as the stallion seeemed to notice her and respond. Perhaps it was a day for an adventure with a new friend. What fun they could have, and perhaps explore! She trotted riht up to the stallion, showing no fear at all. "Why hello there! Fancy meeting you here. Well I mean you as in someone new, not that I know you." She was being a little over zealous now but then when wasn't she? She inspected him briefly, her chocolate brown eyes dancing with excitement. "My name is Qismah. And may I inquire as to your name?"

Shilah watched at the mare walked over to him and introduced herself to him. She certainly seemed very enthusiastic, not that is was a bad thing or anything. He smiled and laughed softly to himself. "Well, hello there to you as well. It is a pleasure to meet you Qismah, my name is Shilah." He said and bowed his head slightly before looking back at her with his vivid orange eyes.

Qismah smiled as the stallion spoke and introduced himself. Well perhaps she would make a new friend today after all. "Shilah, interesting name. I like it. " She grinned, of course knowing her name was rather unusual but then that made her unique which was something she took great pride in. "A lovely day don't you think? It shouldn't be wasted. Perhaps we could take an adventure, maybe have some fun? Always good to spend time with new friends and get to know them right?" She flicked her dark black tail, streaked with white hairs throughout it and her mane. Of course being the daughter of Shetan she was always full of energy and staying still wasn't the easiest thing to do. She danced in place, her 4 hooves going up and down rhythmatically.

Shilah laughed and smiled at the very energetic mare. She certainly was different then anyone else he had ever met before. "I like your name as well." He said and nodded his head. "And it is a lovely day, and I always love adventures." He said and laughed again cheerfully.
"I would love to have an adventure with you and get to know you better. Maybe we could go for a run? You seem to be full of energy." He said and smiled. It was true, he did want to get to know her better, she seemed rather interesting and fun.

Qismah's eyes lit up when he said run. running and racing was something she loved alot. Her father was one of the fastest soquilis around and of course his love for running and speed passed down to her. She had grown up racing with him and came to love the feel of the wind in her face and her mane and tail whipping behind her. "I would love that! Never did I think I'd find another soquili that loved running as much as I do. My father, Shetan, and my brother, Dharmesh, and I used to race all the time. Now and then my brother and I still race for fun!" She was literally ready to jump out of her skin in her excitement. And with that she bolted and yelled back "Catch me if you can!!"

Shilah listened to her talk about her love of running and smiled when all of a sudden Qismah had sped off. He was caught off guard but took off after her none the less. "Come back here!" He said and laughed as he chased after her, his hair flying back as he ran increasing his speed.
"I am going to get you!" He said and laughed again still running after her, trying to make up for his intial late start now going faster then he had gone in a long time. He smiled joyfully when he was only a couple feet behind her.

Qismah burst forward with a rush of energy when he got close, darting left and right as the stallion chased her, laughing all the while. "Come on now, you can move those hooves faster then that!" Her mane flowed behind her, whipping like a black flame streaked with white. She was almost a blur now as she sped along the valley floor. She was enjoying the chase and wondered if he would catch her or not. There was a sudden burst of butterflies as Qismah raced through the flowers, a bright and colorful scene. Looking back she could see the stallion was very close behind her.

Shilah laughed and chased behind her even as she darted around. "You want me to go faster?" He said and smiled as he pushed himself forward more making his legs go faster then ever before. He didn't even have time to look at all the things around him as he began to close in on Qismah.
"I am going to catch you!" He said again as he got began to go beside her but still lagged behind her a couple steps as he continued to run through the valley.

Qismah giggled as she heard Shilah's calls and laughing. She could see the stallion in the corner of her eye now as he gained on her....and that was when she suddenly skidded to a halt and took off the opposite direction. "Gotta be on your toes Shilah! Come on and catch me now! " She was covered in a white lather, sweating and working her muscles ahrd but she was enjoying the workout it gave her and it was so much fun to have a new friend to play chase with.

Shilah ran past her when she turn sharply but soon he turned as well still chasing her. "Toes? What toes?" He said as he looked down at his hoofs and laughed again teasingly. He lowered his head alittle bit to make him more aerodynamic to cut down on the wind resistant to try and catch up to her. "I will catch you eventually!" He said and smiled still chasing after the rather energetic mare.

Qismah could only laugh at the playful stallion's words. He was determined, that was for sure. She ehaded for the pond and splashed into the cool refreshing water. Standing there in knee deep water, with her long mane and tail soaking in the pond, she grinned. "Come on in Shilah! The water is lovely today!!" She waited for him to get closer, mischief plastered all over her face and twinkling in her eyes.

Shilah stopped when she ran into the pond. He looked at her suspiciously when she told him to come in to the water. "I don't know..." He said as he looked at her curious at to what she was planning. He back up a bit and paused before running at full speed splashing into the water next to her.
