 -Explatives most foul plagued the mind of the tricolored leopard. Each angry step accented with a silent curse so henious, even the nastiest of gods would cringe. Rage and pain boiled through him as he stalked in his tiny circle, padding down the dirt in obvious sign that he'd been at this silent mental attack for awhile now. It just all made him so angry!
He hated stupid Hivu and her stupid cubs. He wanted to rip apart Mleli for getting the better of him. He hated her too. Tail lashing unpleasantly he smashed his claw streched paw into the ground. He hated himself too. Probably worst of all. What in the hell was wrong with him?
For all of his trying.. to be cold and distant. To keep his cool and force everyone else away... Why did it hurt him so much to do it? Why did he push while his mind begged him to pull? Why the hell did he hurt that lioness? Why why why. Why did everything he wanted to become taste so sour in his mouth. Why.
Stopping his pace, his form shuddered.. the closest thing to tears that the male was capable of. Maybe he had been wrong all along? Maybe he'd tossed away everything he could have had just because he was stubborn.. and young.. and stupid.
Padding away slowly he collapsed alongside a tree, head coming rest against his forepaws as heavy breaths plagued him.-

 She hadn't meant to get lost in fact she had expected to get to the Kusuni lands without any problems occurring. She was far too stubborn to admit that she was lost or wrong in anyway, she had just taken a longer route to enjoy the lands around her. That was what she said anyway, in truth, she was lost.
The jungle was huge, trees towering over her and she felt so small and intimidated. She hated the feeling, she was suppose to be powerful and strong not weak and lost.
She let out a snarl and found somewhere to sit down, the jungle was just a maze of winding trees and she didn't know her way around it. She was lost and confused. She had been wandering for days and she knew there were loads of trees surrounding the Kusuni lands and had assumed this was it, it wasn't.
"Damn father." The words were harsh and were followed by a growl which lasted longer then she had expected it to. If it wasn't for her stupid father going off to his birth place she would have never got lost! Stupid father. Stupid Pridelands. Stupid where ever she was!

-Be strong. Friends... females.. their for wusses. An unpleasant and dowry face met his usual mantra. Who cared about being strong? Well of course he did.. but.. Ugh.
The sound of another transversing through the underbrush thankfully stole his attention away from his thoughts, and his eyes snapped up dangerously. It better not be Mleli.. OR Hivu. He wasn't in the mood to deal with either girl.
Maybe it was a male though.. someone he could take his aggression out on.
Lifting himself from the ground, he gave a soft shake, before ruffling himself up, paws pulling him forward in a silence that was befitting to a beast from the jungle. Pausing only when the creme beast came into sight, his voice hitched, coming out in a sigh.- "The jungle is a dangerous place for lions missy."

She looked up at the leopard and jumped a little. She had heard of leopards but had never seen one in her life. He was rather good looking, why others hadn't told her leopards were good looking before she didn't know.
She shook the shock aside and stood up.
"I can look after myself if need be I am sure." she didn't speak as sharply as she normally would but she had not discovered how to be nice yet either.
He had given her some information though, she was in the jungle where ever that was. Why couldn't she just admit that she was lost? Oh yeah, she was too proud and her pride was the only thing that she would ever love.

-Oh really now? He bit back the urge to snap at her. To inform her of the monsters that lurked within. Himself included.
Actually, he SHOULD probably just scare her off. Slink up with the sordid details of what exactly he did to the last lioness that walked her pretty little self into the jungle. But alas.. No quip came. He felt almost hollow.
Instead he hazzarded a step forward. Stating matter of factly, but heck, atleast it wasn't threatening.- "You don't belong in the jungle. Why don't you just move along."

She snarled a warning at him. Stupid good looking leopard thinking that he knows best.
"I won't be going anywhere anytime soon." She spoke so that her intentions were clear and laid herself back down, her head turned away from the leopard. Stupid creature sticking his nose where it wasn't wanted.

-He almost laughed, his maw hitching in a smirk that he tried to hide. Was there there even a female in the world that wasn't a total stubborn clod? Or was it some hardwired fact of their birth that all of them were born with. Just to spite him.
And yet.. it didn't. It dug deep inside of him, at that soft urge that always tugged upon him. Oh how he loved stubborn women. Strong women. Oh how he loved to dominate over them. But then.. that was the reason he was in such a mess today, wasn't it?
Huffing indifferently to her growl and warning he stepped even closer now, letting his words slide in a very different fashion for once. Maybe today.. just for once.. he'd say things that would make her want to stay. Instead of things bent on shoving her away.- "And why's that missy?"

She turned to look at him growling a little more.
"That has nothing to do with you." She was close to snapping but tried to keep her voice at least a little normal, which was normally somewhat harsh.
Her blue eyes looked him over several times watching him carefully. She was stubborn and not the nicest of creatures but she only had her brain and mouth she was weak in strength and when it came to boys, especially good looking boys. Tego happened to be one of those good looking boys.

"Now now, you're getting yourself all in a bunch for no reason at all." -He settled himself lightly onto the ground before her, making it apparent to her that he didn't have intentions on leaving. Ruffling himself out lightly, he reached down to run a tongue over one of his more recent injuries, babying the line of scratches to help keep them from scarring as they healed.
And that was all he did, simply letting his tail flick back and forth, waiting for her to either grow exasperated, or calm herself down.-

She let herself take a few deep breaths and then lowered her head onto her paws, moving a little so her blue eyes could watch his dark form. He was a curious creature and as it was obvious he wasn't going to leave she didn't have much choice but to put up with him, after all she could twist him to get her out of this horrible place.
"A fighter now are we?" She couldn't bear the silence and as the injuries were at least a little visible she thought she might as well mention them.

"Only when need be, I usually prefer words." -It was the truth. But he wouldn't mention the fact of how abusive the words tended to be. How he taunted and prodded with them, as opposed to the usual connitation of his statement.
Lifting his eyes to the female more curiously, he lingered over her markings. She was more creme then yellow.. like the last lioness he'd seen. But her markings were more stylized and refined, unlike the spotty bits that decorated the two women that currently baned his exsistance. She was quite pretty actually.
Becoming curious, and for lack of things to say considering his drive to keep from quipping unpleasantly, he asked lightly, ears cocking forward.- "I was once told that females like fighters and scars though."

She nodded, words were what she used to fight. She found she was normally good at getting people where it hurt quicker then having claws flying everywhere.
However at his next comment she laughed and it wasn't her normal harsh laugh either. "It saves me saying it then doesn't it." This leopard maybe wasn't as bad as she had originally thought.
"So... why are you hanging out here with a lioness? Surely there are female leopards about that are more worthy of your time?" She spoke a little softer now, after all she was lost and didn't want to get on the bad side of him, it could turn out very bad.

"Leopardess are s.." -He stopped abruptly, catching himself just before he snapped and rattled off characteristically on their stupidity and lowness. Gods it was like script! Burned into his brain to automatically snap out and get the first word. It seemed years of work had paid off. Pity that today he was trying to be different. Or atleast pretend... as he was uncertain of exactly what he was anymore.
Was he the mask he'd created all those years ago? Or was he still the same little leopard from before, simply hiding away. Blahhh..
Pushing the thoughts away with an inward grimace, he pulled for words, before settling on a simple truth.- "The leopardess in this area aren't nearly as lovely as you are. They look like they've been splooched in mud and darkness."
-Flipping his tail, he turned his vision outward for a moment, peering around to see if they were truely alone.- "Surely you can't begrudge me for wanting to enjoy a little beauty for once?"

She was shocked and flattered. Wasn't this what she had always wanted? Someone to want her and to be the center of attention? Now she was it seemed strange though and she was suddenly felt really young but something inside her had started up.
"Well... I suppose denying you the beauty you are seeking would be a crime of sorts." She chuckled and flicked her tail moving to sit up a little. Was he offering what she thought he was? Well... she wasn't passing this up.

"How very kind of you." -A smirk played upon his maw, not his normal aggresive one, but one of actual amusement, and softly he lifted himself from the ground once more.
Taking a tentative step forward, before waiting to see if she'd protest once more, he offered lightly. The words obviously foreign to him despite the smoothness in which they slid out.- "In that case.. you wouldn't mind if I kept you company for awhile?"
"Since you don't plan on being anywhere soon.." -His tail sway softly, muscles attempting to relax as he stood. It wasn't so hard it seemed.. Once you got in the swing of things.-
