It hasn't been too long now since Na'ilah has had her second litter. It was the largest she's ever heard of and with all those cubs, she is always busy. It makes her quite sad to think that her first litter was off in the world and she has seen little of them. Ears drooped lightly at the thought before she brushed it away. She couldn't be selfish now, could she? It was bound to happen, cubs can't always stay with their parents. They go off and find new homes and new families. At least she was proud of what they all became. Lying just outside of their den, the green lioness was happily soaking up the sun, not at all realizing that her youngest son would be returning home today with a surprise for her.Lime green eyes scanned the green landscape. Siltim exhaled deeply, happily taking in the scent of home. Gaze roamed over the vast landscape before softly landing on a figure not too far from him. Chu'mana. A lop-sided grin spread across his face before he flicked his tail. Today was the day they'd get to see his family! He hasn't seen his mother in quite a while actually, and hoped things were well at home.
Though, at the pit of his stomach, he was slightly nervous about introducing Chu'mana to his family. This is the first time where he's ever introduced a friend to the family and who knows what his parents might be thinking! He couldn't help but chuckle before looking towards Chu'mana, "I hope my family's out and about right now, perhaps we'll get to see them today."

Chu'mana watched the landscape form around her. So, this was Priderock, eh? It was definitely more green than she thought it would be. However, that was surely not a bad thing. With green came an abundance in life, and with more life came a healthy life style, most of the time. Still, no matter how green it was, it was beautiful all the same, for Priderock had always lingered in her dreams.
"Wow... It'sss a beautiful placcce, Sssssiltim. You're lucky to live here with your family. Where do you all live? I ssseeeee so many other lionsss here, that I wouldn't know where to ssstart.", she joked in a cute manner.

A soft chuckle escaped Siltim as he playfully batted his tail against Chu'mana's side. "You don't need to worry about that, I'll show you where to start." He smiled at her before winking, "My family lives a little way from Pride's rock." Lime green eyes glanced towards the large rock formation, taking in it's glory. It was magnificant, and stood for everything he valued. With high hopes, the green male continued on to the right of Pride's rock with Chu'mana by his side. It was such a pleasant feeling.
His family's den wasn't too far away now, he could faintly make out the den in the distance, his breath catching in his throat. He turned back towards Chu'mana, "My family's den is just off in the distance, next to the large tree. Most of the time, my family likes to gather around that tree with the cheetah family we live next to. It's like our family's tree." He chuckled before something else caught his eye. A lithe, green figure below the tree. His mother was out! "Oh! What wonderful timing we have, my mother is underneath the tree."
Eyes were slightly closed as the green lioness rested against the tree in relaxation. Na'ilah was enjoying this time as her mate had watched over their newest litter. Her mind started to drift slightly before a familiar scent woke her up. Siltim! Eyes opened and widen as she searched the horizon for her youngest son. It didn't take her too long to spot her son who was now sporting a full mane! He was so grown up it made her flush with pride. Her tail flicked happily as she called out to him, "Siltim!" And, it appeared that his son wasn't alone either. A female was with him, a green one at that! A playful smile couldn't help but grow on her features as she looked over the female from where she was. The female had a nice shade of green to her, almost complimentary to her son's. Was this a new friend? She was excited to see her son back home after so long and with company!

Looking up ahead at the tree that Siltim had spoke of, Chu'mana could see a dark green lioness that Siltim had called his mother, or so she thought. Just watching her, Chu'mana could see the love that flowed between his mother and him. She had already acknowledged his presence by a flick of her tail and her joyous calls out to him. Such love seemed to surround Priderock.
Now, to be able to impress his mother, Chu'mana stood up as straight as she could, actually becoming a few inches taller. Looking up at Siltim, she smiled, playfully nipping at his bushy mane, her yellow eyes dancing with excitement.
"That'ssss your mother, right? Sssshe'sssss very beautiful, jusssst like you, wouldn't you ssssay?"

Flicking his tail in response to her nips, Siltim couldn't help but have a twinkle in his eye. He nodded his head at his companion's questions, "I would definitely agree to that...she is looking rather well, you wouldn't even guess she has a total of eleven cubs, huh?" He winked at Chu'mana, cubs were always fun, they were so adventuruous.
Turning back towards his mother, he made his way over to her resting form and nuzzled her cheek gently. Giving her an affectionate lick, it's been a quite since he's been with her. "Mom! It's good to see you again. I take it Dad is off with my brothers and sisters?" It was more of a statement rather then a question. He smiled at his mother before turning back to Chu'mana to introduce her, "Mom, I'd like you to meet Chu'mana. I met her while looking for Alula and offered her to come live with us. She was so alone that I couldn't leave her like that!"
As her son and his friend got closer, Na'ilah couldn't help but smile widely. She happily returned his nuzzle, her tail flicking showing her happiness. "Siltim, it's great to see you back and of course your father is with all the little troublemakers!" She laughed lightly, "I'm glad your home." As her son introduced her to his friend, she looked over the lioness. Her lime green eyes took in the other with an air of friendliness, she had no reason to disapprove of her son's friends, especially since she knew he'd never fall into the wrong crowd. "A pleasure to meet you, Chu'mana. I am mother to this troublemaker you know as Siltim, my name is Na'ilah." At her son's other remark, her eyes widen slightly as she lightly laughed, "But of course! You're friends are more than welcomed here, Siltim!"

As Chu'mana sat and listened to Siltim's mother talk, she smiled and nodded to her, quite joyous that she was being excepted by his mother. If she would except her, then almost anyone would, right? Maybe, just maybe, if she tried hard enough and did her best to impress the higher lions of this place, she could join Priderock, and not be a lonesome rogue any longer.
"Thank you, sssssooo much, Msss. Na'ilah. It'sss a pleasssure to be here, at Priderock, and with your sssson at that. He'ssss ssssuch an energizing lion to be around."
Flicking her tail some more, a little excited, as well as a little frightened from being in a such a new place, Chu'mana growled some as the buried her face into Siltim's light green mane, smiling as she did so. She was hoping to embarrass him, just so his 'cute side' would come into play.

A wide grin grew on Siltim's features as he knew his mother would just like Chu'mana. His mother had been through tough times herself and she would not judge another so harshly. Though, as Chu'mana buried herself into his mane, he couldn't help but to widen his eyes and let out a tiny sqeak, "Chu'mana!"
Lime eyes watched the two interact curiously as Na'ilah couldn't help but let out a peal of laughter. "It's my pleasure. My mate should be heading back some time soon, so we can introduce you to him as well." Turning to her son, she watched Chu'mana playfully embarrass him. This was a rare sight in itself as Siltim was always the one playing jokes on others. "I would definitely say that Siltim keeps things interesting!"

Chu'mana couldn't help but to purr slightly, a wide grin on her face. She loved it when Siltim played back, especially when he made some of the cutest expressions. Those were just some of the small qualities that made him so wonderful to be around, and they were also the same qualities that made her like being around him so much.
Turning her attention back to Na'ilah, Chu'mana nodded once more. "I look forward to meeting your mate. I wisssshh I could I meet the entire family, asss I want to ssssseeeee if they're all like Ssssssiltim or not." She watched Siltim's mother's reactions, noting how happy and excited she seemed to be over this situation as well. Maybe she knew or saw how much Chu'mana cared for her son.. Or maybe she was just happy that he had a friend now. In any case, Chu'mana was happy to be here.

Laughing, Na'ilah shook her head, "Oh no! I couldn't have all my cubs be like Siltim or else I'd go crazy! One Siltim is enough for me!" She smiled sweetly at Siltim before looking back to the green lioness, "You'll meet the whole family sooner or later...they like to go off on their own every now and then." She flicked her tail as she watched her son out of the corner of her eye, pleased to see that her son is happy. It's been a while since she's seen that look on his face and it made her swell with pride. Perhaps this might make him settle down a bit, or at least, she hoped so. "Chu'mana, do you have any family around here?" She was curious and wanted to know more about this lioness her son took a liking to.
Lime green eyes watched his mother closely, noting her expression. Siltim's face darken a bit with apprehension. Oh no, she was plotting something and he had a feeling it had to do with him. Content with where the lioness was, he made no movements to get out of this position. Rather, he quite enjoyed it, much to his surprise. "Well, they're almost all like me...everyone's green, except for Rami and Mjrn, they're black since they take after Dad."

Suddenly, Chu'mana's eyes grew sad, and her playfulness ceased. She wanted to, but didn't want to, answer Siltim's mother. It was a very rough question for someone to ask of her. However, if she did choose to live here at Priderock with Siltim and his family, the least she could do was tell them about her past.
"No.. I'm afraid to sssay I don't. My passst.. Is a little.. On the rocky sside. If you wissh to hear about it though, I'll tell it to you. It'ssss not too much of a problem."
She hated to sound so hostile towards the green lioness, but it did bother her, to a certain degree. Still though, anyone who wanted to hear the story was more than welcome to, as much as it bothered her to remember her past.

Noting the green lioness' reaction, Na'ilah could only feel all too much what had happened. Green eyes soften towards the lioness as she gave a small smile, "It's alright, my dear. There are things in life that need to be left unsaid," She paused, "My past wasn't the best, but don't let that stop you from enjoying the future. Since tomorrow is just another day where happiness can bloom!" She couldn't help but let out a soft laugh as she flicked her tail, "But, we can't have you not without a family, now can we, Siltim?" She winked at her son, "Please! Feel free to consider us family then, it'd be great to add another to our family!"
Ears turned towards Chu'mana as Siltim nosed her lightly, giving her some comfort. At his mother's words, he couldn't help but feel his face heat up slightly, a small blush. Nodding his head slightly, he looked at Chu'mana, afraid he'd make a fool of himself stuttering since he was a bit speechless, but his mother said everything perfectly.

Chu'mana brightened up some once more, nosing Siltim back for comfort, realizing that he was here for her. "Thank you... Both of you. I'd love to be part of the family. The only thing iss.. I'm only a rogue. What if other Priderock lionsss don't accccept me? What about my horrible hissssing? I'm ssssooo different and I ssstand out ssssooo much."
That was something else that was bothering her. She was indeed very different. Would the high lions of Priderock accept her, as well as all the other lions around? What if her hissing problem scared the cubs? Then it would be like old times... And she didn't want to go back to that.. Not at all.
Kind of scared again, she buried her face into Siltim's light green mane, trying to hide from her fears, as well as her embarrassment.

The fears that Chu'mana spoke of, were the same fears that Na'ilah had herself when she came to the Pridelands. She was afraid that she'd be turned away for her green color, it was unusual afterall! Purring softly, she replied to the lioness, "My dear, there is nothing to be afraid of. Your fears are some of the same fears I shared with my mate some moons ago. You're hissing is nothing more than an accent that is special to you and only you," She leaned towards the green lioness to touch her shoulder gently, in a motherly sort of way, "The Pridelands accept everyone that is willing to abide by peace and have a part in helping out our community. If you are willing to do those two things, then you should have no fears about living here. Everyone is welcome...plus, you'd be surprised by the array of lions we have residing here...some as different as yourself!" She nodded.
Batting his tail lightly against Chu'mana's side, Siltim purred softly with his mother. She was right afterall, here everyone was welcome...whether you were like everyone else or not. He looked at his mother and smiled, greatful for her words since she knew so much more about this than he did. Afterall, his parents know the king and queen of these lands since they had to get permission to live here. Green eyes shifted towards Chu'mana, "You won't scare the cubs any more than you scare me!" He chuckled, "You're just a lioness who's rolled around in the grass too much and became green." He teased her gently.

Chu'mana listened to Siltim's mother, taking her words to heart once more. She truly was a very kind and gentle lioness, and she was acting very much like a mother to Chu'mana herself. Even though Na'ilah didn't know, the lime green lioness appreciated that more than anything else, after she had been turned down by her mother when she had that horrible accident.
"Thank you.. Both of you..", she said in a muffled voice, bringing her face out of Siltim's mane. "I guesss I won't know anything until I give it a try, right? Hopefully, I won't sssstand out too much." She smiled and rubbed her head up against Na'ilah's, very grateful towards her. Then, she turned to Siltim and took a quick swipe at his paws, purring happily. "I think you'd sssscare the cubsss more than I would. You're ssssooo mean to everyone. After all, you jusssst inssulted me about my fur color!"
Hissing with laughter, she reached up and licked Siltim's cheek, showing him that she was just teasing him like he had done to her. Yes, it was fun to act like a little cub again, especially around this green goof-ball.

((My little sister isn't able to get on to have Siltim's dad come in for this rp...Chu'mana will have to meet him some other time. ^^;; ))
Smiling, Na'ilah stood up, "You won't stand out any more here than we do." She turned around to walk towards the family den, "Over here is our family's den, feel free to come and go whenever you please. Just make sure to not step on the little ones!" She winked at Chu'mana, heading off to take a small nap before going to get dinner....and to leave the two alone. But, before she left them alone, "Make sure to seek out Queen Kami to get accepted into the pride, Chu'mana. She's a fair lioness, so don't worry about not being accepted. And Siltim, show her around!" She couldn't help but laugh softly before leaving them.
As Chu'mana licked his cheek, Siltim could feel his face heat up...hopefully he wasn't blushing! His lime green eyes looked at his mother's figure before he nodded his head, "Of courser, Mom!" Turning his attention back to Chu'mana, he pawed at her, "I did not insult your color! Because if I did, I would be insulting myself as well!" He chuckled, "Is there any place you'd like to see..." He paused, "Or perhaps, we should go have fun the rest of the day before exploring my home tomorrow." Whatever Chu'mana wanted to do was fine with him, he was glad to have someone here, someone he enjoyed being around.
((We can end this rp with your post. Whenever you want to set up another rp, let me know so we can get things rolling. ^^))
