You see, Gambino was once the favourite of all Lanzer's Mods. Lanzer loved him so that there was nothing he would not do for him. He even gave Gambino the Name of Orange, despite Gambino's unworthyness. But Gambino, being prideful and arrogant, was not satisfied by this, even though Lanzer gave him more than he ever gave any other of his mods.

You see, Gambino did not only want his orange name to give him all the powers of Adminhood, to become a power equal to Lanzer himself...he wanted more. He wished for absolute dominion over all of Gaia, to be the only Admin. Gambino, ever the ungrateful, wished to overthrow Lanzer.

So Gambino made claims of actual Adminhood, simply because his name was orange. The Orange had always been naught but a trinket, something given to a favoured child to make them happy for a spell. But it made Gambino drunk with an illusion of power.

So he tried to rule the Isle of Gambino, which he narcisistically named after himself. This was the revelation of his arrogance. He sought to bring all of Gaia down, but Lanzer has made all well again.

You see, Lanzer could have destroyed Gambino any time, but he has always hoped that some day, maybe...Gambino would become a better man and a better Mod.

If Lanzer had wanted Gambino destroyed, there would have been nothing Gambino could have done to stop him.
But as I have said, Lanzer has always had a soft spot for Gambino, and even now, he still feels there is some good in him, like in Darth Vader.

Now a days, Gambino stands for the economists and rules Chatterbox Alley. Lanzer can not have him destroyed, for when we are assimilated, we must either go the way of fairy winged land, or the depths of the Chatterbox, where Gambino now rules.
