Who: Romulus & Liliana We'll probably be more likely to permit other family members than anyone else, but you can ask
What: Just a random sibling meeting
Where: Outside, somewhere between Bass'ken & Realm HQ mnost likely
When: Sometime after Liliana hs met Roy Mustang -which is some time after their parents told them about the upcoming new litter
Why: we need a why to have sibling interaction? Just beacuse.

The only one of Remus & Nari's first litter to disregard the clothing of her parents, Liliana flew over the snow covered landscape below. She spent more & more time away from the library & her father lately it seemed. Ever since Edward had pointed out that she was in love with her father & shown his horror at the idea. The red furred female sighed & flapped her brown & gold wings a bit more forcefully. Or was it because of the new kits coming & needing to simply clear her mind? The cool winter air was good for that.

Another set of wings had been flapping nearly in tune that night, as a silent wolvened eyed youth had flown over the domain, scanning the area. He had plenty on his plate to think about - what with the news that he would be a brother once more. This time... it would be more dificult to enjoy sibling bonds - for they would have to learn how to communicate with one who could not talk at all. It gave him such a headache.

With a soft, airy sigh, he quickly caught attention to the other body, a smile lightly gracing his maw as he realized whom it was - someone he hadn't seen for awhile, prior and post news; Liliana. Turning his wings over so that he could glide over to her, he gave a whisp of a whistle to her, most of the translation of it lost on the winds that they were riding.

The breeze brought to her the hint of a familiar whistle & Liliana swung her head around to see if it was her imagination or not. Her eyes did not light up but she did smile to see her brother. "Rommy." She greeted happily but almost flatly, turning in mid air to meet him. "Are you clearing your head too?"

She had learned a while ago that it was easiest to communicate with her brother in yes/no questions. At least when there was no paper around.

Upon hearing such a tone from his sister, he almost never caught the exact feeling that came with it; but something deep inside stirred him slightly so. Having no voice always meant listening with a sincere and truely acute sense of hearing - which sometimes bothered him.

Banking closer to his sister - taking a spin midair before throwing his full wingspan out once more when he was close enough, he heard the question, which made him look away momentarily, his maw flattening out into a thoughful grin before looking back to his only other befeathered sibling. A stern nod was awarded to her, his face in a bit of a scowl now, showing that it was definitally a serious airing out of the holes in his mind.

Blessed be those who understood him.

Her instict to console kicked in & Liliana cooed softly at her elder brother, winging in to brush her cheek with his gently. Now the hard part -figuring out what Romulus was trying to clear his mind from.

"I was thinking about the new kits... were you?" Her voice took on a hopeful edge, that perhaps she was not the only one at odds with this news.

Due to the lack of his voice, he awarded his sister a soft break in his deep frown, for a moment of time to show that he accepted the affection, before she finally asked the question, one that haunted him to an extent - but there were always many things that plagued his mind. So, to answer, he tilted his head left, then right, and gave such a sharp frown, showing his discontent about the whole situation.

Here and there, but yes. Indefinitally. It plagued him so, knowing fully well that the siblings that came to them soon would not be able to fully understand the sincerity of his.. loss for.. words. But at the thought of such, he realized that she had been thinking of it also, he raised his wolven eyes once more, showing his curiousity - why was she thinking so intently about the future?

She watched his expressions closely for the clues they gave even as part of her mind wondered along the subconsious at why Romulus was her favorite sibling. The obvious, that there was no competition from the only male, was of course something she would never know or admit to herself. But it was likely his very silence played a part in her affection for him. Liliana would probably never know for sure. So much of what she felt was below the surface of ther thoughts.

She tilted her head at him. "More's bothering you than the new kits? That would make sense. There's a bit more than the kits bothering me... but they're the easiest to fret about." Easier than trying to come up with ideas to protect her friend Edward against Envy or how to focus on the moment for battles without being too focused. Of course it was not as important in the grand scope of things to worry about perhaps, but it was the easiest to fall into. Perhaps because it was such a juvenille worry. "Are you happy they'll be more though? I know Daddy is... so I'm trying to be..."

An airy sound came out of his muzzle when she finished, and - complete with a smile and smiling eyes - it would be easily explained as a silent one's laugh. He was always amused by his sisters relationship with her father - both were always so at war with eachother - and in the eyes of the laid back son of the foursome, it was always such a treat to watch the bicker over who got him first. But of the three, she was his favourite - she understood him to a personal level - even when he was without writing tools.

Raising his eyebrows, he showed that he was actually shocked that she was feeling somewhat okay about letting their father parent more whelps to grab his attention; but deep inside he was proud of her for starting to slide away from their father. Maybe he'd get more time to 'talk' with her.

Finally feeling the weight of tiredness from all this flying, he gave a sharp whistle to catch her attention again, and looked at a small hill down in this territory, and without hesitation, banked down to land.

Liliana had to laugh in kind, not quite guessing what her brother found humorus but having a good idea. Then she smiled almost shyly as he showed his shocked surprise. Perhaps living with Trelweny she had picked up on their human's ability to read others, but whatever the reason Lily seemed to know close to what Romulus was likely shocked at. But before she could comment he had pulled her thoughts back to the moment and soon she was winging down after him & landing on the small hill gracefully beside him. Sometimes it was nice to be under-sized.

Once they were both landed Liliana felt she could explain. At least a little. "It's not like I can stop what's in motion, can I? And Daddy is so very pleased..." There was a whimper to her voice though, showing she was not quite over the news yet but that she was trying as best as she could to be happy for their father at least. Not that she did not love their mother too, but well Nari was too much like competition more than her sisters. Even if those feelings were all on the subconsious level they still effected Liliana's every thought, action & feeling now.

Although he was somewhat larger than his little sister, his landing, also, was smooth as silk. Sitting next to Liliana, his ears perked high to catch whatever drifted on her voice - he was the king of catching everything from hints to lies.

He nodded in agreement, looking to the sky that they were just floating so high in, his slightly longer hair flowing with the same currents that his obi had been catching. He knew that his father was a family man, and more family had just enthralled him greatly, whereas putting the strain on the current siblings - who all - in turn - had something that put stress on them.

As if something dawned on him, he leaned back on his back paws and reached for a little trinket on his obi, a small red notebook, and started scrawling in his somewhat messy fashion before turning it to his sister.

"We are his first, and have a special place, I'm sure.

..

I'm more worried that the next batch won't communicate with me; or worse, one will be like me.. "
he stated, his face reflecting his feelings.

Though the emotions played on her face Liliana could do no mnore than nod as she read what her brother wrote first. That had never been the problem... so much as her own heart's longings that she would never get. And now she did not know what else to want, other than to progress in her potions studies so that she could care for her father without Severus & Tsu's assistance. Now it was more to finish what she had started, mixed with a certain amount of pride to do so. Still she could not bring herself to voice even to her favorite sibling the truth that Edward, Atae, & Terasu had brought to light within her. Since they had, Liliana knew it was wrong... and could never be, but it was mnore difficult to convince her heart & dreams. She simply could not roll over like that.

At Romulus's next sentance her green eyes showed there tenderness & with a soft cry Lily tossed her neck over her brother's & hugged him fiercely to her. "Oh Rommy! Of course they will! I'll help them! I won't let you feel alone!"

Snuggling him close she added softly. "I could wish they'd all be like you. Couldn't ask for more wonderful kin."

And with the regret, the only sound that he could answer in regards was a soft sigh, and the resonating thump that occured when his little sister leapt at him in a show of affection and care - something that he truely wished he could verbally thank her for, but instead patted her head with the paw that held his pen. Although he had sensed the movements previous to this to be self-restraining, he figured she would tell in due time, for he was a confidante.

It was hard to tell secrets without the words to say. But upon hearing her final sentance, he became completely split as to how to feel - half of him was more than flattered by his sister considering him such a good kin, while the other half prayed with whichever god condemned him not to harm his siblings-to-be.

Giving another very short airy chuckle, he found enough space in the embrace to put paws together and wrote for his sister once more.

"I appreciate the compli affections sister dear, I will have to take you up on helping me with the anklebiters.

. . . but lets strive to maybe make them obedient and nice.

It sucks being mute."

She nuzzled him gently as she read, then quirked her head at him -one gold tipped ear flopping while the other raised. "I don't see how they won't be. Even MauCho is mostly obedient." Liliana could not add nice... not with all the animostity between her & their sister so well known -to everyone but Remus it seemed. Bu perhaps MauCho was nice to others, so Lily bit her tongue, hugging her brother once more.

"I'm sorry, Rommy. Maybe I could see if there's a potion to cure muteness? Would you like that?" She had not found one yet... but that did not mean there was not one. A little spark fluttered in her to have another reason to continue her potions as far as she could. If she coudl help Romulus...

A grin was rewarded from her brother when he heard her mention Mau Cho and her .. nicities. He knew all too well what it was like to be in the middle of a room with those two together - like putting a cat and a mouse in a playpen. Safe to say he was lucky he could still hear as well as he could even through those snips.

Letting it go, his ears perked when she had asked him if he would be willing to dissolve his only issue in life.. and, after great though, his muzzle somewhat screwed up into a thoughtful face before he shrugged a bit, looking down to her with his wolven eyes, before writing in his little book.

"It would be nice, but.. I've never talked a word in my life.
I think it would get very annoying and a bit.. hard on me to learn sounds and words...

Far too accustom to working with my body, you know? I'm a stubborn Kitsusagi."
he showed her, giving a airy chuckle at the end sentance.

She leaned her head to read his words & smiled softly. "As you wish, Rommy!" Her tails wagged gently & she grinned. "You work well with your body."

Subconsiously Liliana noted how her brother would make some lucky female very happy with his body one day & her grin broadened. But what she thought & said was. "Stubborness seems to be a family trait. It's been helpful in potions for me. Has it been with your silent spellcasting with Daddy?" Although she lived with Remus she did not ask byond his "things are going well" how Romulus' lessons were going.
