The Hoshi Chronicles Banner to comeOk I've put off doing this for a while but I've guess I finally got bored enough or maybe I just want to join in and be part of the crowd. (yeah peer-pressure)
So anyway I guess this will be my journal of all my Maple Story going ons. I don't lead an exicting MS life, I'm on Bera and most of my friends are on Scania, so I have no friends to hang out with anymore. (I'm working on finding new ones) So my journal may be a little borring, but it's not like you have to read it.
So yeah, I'm on Bera after being on Scania for quite some time, why the switch you may ask. It wasn't because of the 2x stuff Bera was given or the event only for Bera, I switched over before the notice was posted. The reason was slimplybecause Scania was way to over crowded for my taste. IRL I'm not very found of large crowds and trying to train was becomming such a pain that I was tempted to quit. But after realizing that while Scania channels would fill up quickly (5-6 little boxes on each channel), Bera's channels never had more the2 little boxes per channel. And thus I switched over, and am now doing so much better than I was before.
For people saying it's hard to level and get back where you where before makes me laugh. I was able to level two character to lvl 30 in 22 days 11 days each. The reason for this there's always free training spots no matter what.
Ok so that's a bit of my background info just incase someone was interested.

Characters AkaLove: The is me warrior that I started with, I got to lvl 30 and became a spear(wo)man, and after awhile I got bored and started a new character. (She is a mule) Akahoshi: By far my favorite character that I have ever made so far. She has my favorite name and a job I actually like. So she is my sexy mage that became a cleric, and I'm sticking with her to the end. (I've got pictures coming soon) smile AkaMule: She's and ore mule that's her job, she carries ores that's it.

Recap of the past couple day:
All the time with the 2x stuff going on I was able to get quite a few nice drops most of which were sold and some just given away because I had no use for them. So I leveled and collected like the packrat I am and in the end I've been able to maintain having 1 million meso of just in case funds.
Went through the 30+ event and was jipped the first time getting only 15 sapphire ores, the second time I did it I got 100 red bean sundaes(restore 2000 Mp each). So at least I got something for my cleric. I was also kill by a summoned Barlog, which didn't make me to happy.
Discovered that if your walking around wearing a black bandana it automaticly means that your selling it. I payed 500k for it, it's staying with me no matter what offer I get.

The last day of chaos:
So today is the last day of 2x stuffs, not that I care really but I won't lie saying I won't miss the 2x meso, it was pretty sweet after awhile.
well once again I spent today fighting fire boars trying to get the glass shoes so I could get a fairy wing and make my Arc Staff. I leveled to 34 and got a few nice drops which I NPC'd because they weren't worth the trouble of trying to find a buyer for them. Anyway the money I got from them payed for the Black Amoria Top I won in an auction on sleepywood.So now I feel all cute dressed in black.
After I got the top I went hunting and found a yellow jangoon it had above average stats so I figured I could sell it for a pertty penny. But after heading to Ossyria and running around Orbis tower, I ran in to a warrior around lvl 25-27 who said hi and asked me to wait so I did, I was in no rush anyway. So he asks me if I have any warrior weapons or armour, and I'm having a pretty good day so I dropped the jangoon for him. I think I made day he keep thanking me over and over, and told me that no one ever did something like that for him. It made me feel really good so I'm going to drop an item for someone everyday.
I never got fame for it but I don't care it fealt nice doing something for someone. Besides there are lots of jerks out there that do some pretty mean stuff, at least know I can so people that there are still nice people out there to.
Lastly I'm now fighting the jr. kitties (cute monsters with a horn) and it makes me feel so bad because they cry when they get hit, and I'll I do is hit them and kill them. I feel like I'm the monster not them.
Ok so that's pretty much been my day in a semi long nutshell. I'm going to try and get to lvl 35 before I pass out and go to sleep.

Ok so I finally leveled today, level 36 woot. Spent most of today trying to win an auction for a Dark Moonlight Robe. I lost, it got up to 1.2mill and it ended before I could bid again. *really wanted it*
I'm still looking for a fairy wing, I got a glass shoe but it produced a ice cube, maybe I can trade it for what I need. Must have an Arc Staff at all costs.
I got two random fames today, the first was a theif, so I gave him a dark knuckle vest. The second was someone named NovaFate, they did a fame and run so I never got to say thanks.
I've still keep up my goal of giving one random person something each day. It's mostly been mesos because the drops just aren't coming anymore.

There only Pixels
So today I'm happily training trying to get to lvl 37. I got to 80% and decided to level up in Ossyria. So I got on the boat and there was a theif guy on there to, so it was just the two of use on the boring 10 minute trip. Now normally I go afk, but he caught me and started asking me questions and then he asked for meso so I dropped 20k. (good deed of the day done) And the next thing I know he starts hitting on me, that is one of my pet-peeves. How can someone hit on pixels, it boggles the mind. So after ignoring him the best I could the second the boat landed I signed off and stayed away from MS for an hour.
So I returned and started training in the tower and ended up leveling to 37, woot one more level till I get to wear a moonlight and use a fairy wand. After I leveled I went back to Victoria. (I go back and forth a lot) Made my way to Kerning and went wraith hunting. During that time I got 13% and a nice drop Light Scorpio Pants (lvl 60 Theif Pants), which are actually avg so hopefully I can sell them for a pretty good price.
Lastly, I finally bought a controller to play MS with because my hands are starting to hurt more and more everyday. The controller is a life saver my hands feel so good, and it has eleven buttons plus I can have an other eleven buttons if I need them. (I don't right now)
All right that's all for today.
Oh wait I finall got my Arc Staff made finally. xd

Ok it's been awhile, but in my mind now worth posting has happened to me, and still nothing really cool or remotely interesting has happened I just figured why not update. Well I'm now a level 41 Cleric and am now getting to experence how good of a meso maker they are. Now that the ch.12 zombie lupin tree is my training spot, I now that sounds stupid because you'd think other people would be in there. And sometimes there are, but for some reason people leave minutes after they see that a cleric has entered the tree. It's the two areas I feel powerful in, the other being the subway fighting wraiths. In the tree, I buy 200 mana pots(the mp heal 300 ones) which costs about 120k. And then I go in the tree and within 2 hours the pot are probably gone and I've made around 240k not counting drops. I make an avg of around 400k - 500k per trip. Not needing a magic guard really saves on pots. I'm working on raising my holy arrow so I can figth dark thing better. I also have reasons to train harder and level up. I have my arc staff to look forward to, and I bought a Dark Anakarune. The rune cost me 1 mil but it's always been my favorite outfit and 1 mil seemed kinda cheap. I now need to hunt for a Dark Calaf or find a seller. My goal is to get to lvl 60 by Sept. 7, and finally get the chance to look like this:  And if the cash shop opens at sometime before the 7th I will look like this:  That's about it for tonight, or actually this morning. I'm in need of sleep now, so till my next update.

Not to much has happened got to level 42 and am 35% away from level 43. I'm kinda slowing down in the leveling department, to much going on in rl to spend lots of hours leveling.
Today was a nice day for drops though which is a good thing but it may mean less or no drop for a while. Anyway here's a pic of my drops. (in the red box)
I'll probably NPC them because selling thing takes to long.
That's it for me I need some sleep.

 I solo'd a Mushmom and finally got my mushmom spore. Yeah I know it doesn't seem like much but I'm very pleased with myself. I actually got to solo it and I wasn't at the recommended level for a cleric. I not saying that it was easy since most mot my hits were misses and it did take me 15 minutes. And yes even though I am on bera it still is kind of hard to get a chance to fight a mushmom, let alone solo one. I'm just one step away from finishing Jane's second quest. I had nothing to lose from figthing I just leveled it was really just a test to she if I could hit it. I also never have to fight another Malady...I hope. Well that my news of the day.

And I just remembered I had this here. It''s been awhile but I''ve finally got back in to MS after slowing down for quite some time. And well I been leveling and hunting like a fool trying to reach my goal of level 60 before I have to go back to classes. (small chance if nothing comes up to slow my leveling down) I should get to at least level 55 though. So I''ve made it to level 49 all thank to a little place I like to call B3. I can jump it like a pro now so I normally get a free channelto kill the wraiths all alone for the full 98 minutes. At the moment I can make at least 35% one a slow spawn and 40 for a fast spawn. That fast spawn makes all the difference. So right know I''m at the point of trying to get all my level 50 equips, so that means iron hog hunting for me helm, and gold hunting for my gloves and shoes. I''m also hunting for a ancient scroll so I can get my skull earrings. And well during my scroll hunt I was lucky enough to have a set of tobis drop, I quickly sold them for 3.3 mil. So now I have enough mesos to by my ores and maybe buy a couple cape scrolls for hp. (I''m a cleric, I needs mah hp bad) The DSGs aren''t to hard to kill since my holy arrow is at level 28, about 4 hits and down they go. As far as level 49 goes it''s all about getting my level 50 gear and not stopping till I get it. Hopefully while hunting for that scroll I''ll be able to get a couple more tobis so I can get ready to the sundae costs when I start going to zombies. Right now pure waters are good enough. With luck I''ll post more in this little journal thingy of mine but only if something good happends. Since I haven''t really posted a pic of my cute new look here it is:  My head is way to big. sweatdrop

I was going to post this tomorrow but I find it funny. I decided to go look for my golden circlet helm thingy so off to the iron hog I went and the first Iron hog I hit dies with one hit and out pops a golden circlet. I lucked out tonight, I was ready for a day long hunt. Luckly luckly luckly, if the person before my just hit it once more they would have got it. (And they were a mage to, I saw them when I went to the mushmom) It doesn't hathe best stats but it's good enough, plus once I pump it full of hp helm scroll it will be exactlly what I want. Level 49 sucks.
I finished off getting my level 50 gear, well not my boots I need that star rock thing. I ended up finishing it earlier that I expected so now I just need to train to level up. Doesn't sound all that tough by today is friday and for some reason that means today is steal the nice cleric leveling spots.
I pretty much have 4 spots I can level in B3, zombie monkey tree, DSG areas, and Maladys. Now since I want to level fast I really only have two, B3 & the tree. And for some reason everyone decided it's a good day to level in these areas. Now B3 I understand everyone wants a whip (everyone but me, I see no reason to need one, I'm a cleric just give me a wand and I good) so normally I don't care to much, I ask them there time if it's not a lot I wait if it is I grab my ores and and try a new channel. Then we get to the tree, for some reason people don't get what's in there, I was in there and it was warriors and bandit/sins falling all over the place after getting hit with a banana. Why are they there they fay tons of areas where they can kill nice strong things to there hearts content. Just let me have the dam tree. *sigh*
I thinks I'm just furstrated because the leveling is teh slow. And being the so called solo cleric (don't get that either, I just see it as wanting to get bless later (I've discovered that bless is the difference between a party cleric and a solo cleric, whatever)) it take just that much longer. Not that I wouldn't mind partying but I don't know anyone and for some reason everyone I meet seems to think I need bless to be a valuble member of a party. (jerks)
I guess maybe a small break is in order to get back in to the leveling mood again. I guess that means it's food time.

Woot I'm level 50 now. Thanks to not being able to sleep because of the fact that I was fairly sick. Getting to level 50 gave me that boost so now I'm not tired at all.
After getting to level 50 I did that jump quest to get the star rock thing, and now know why so many people jump hack that place. It was so hard all those nekis knocking me down. I'm never doing it again no matter what.
I also decided to got the the dead forest. (I think that's what it's called, the place which the zombies) And while the exp and meso was good, I'm not at the right level I think. I'll go back a level 53 when I have 10 point in Invincible because I'm going through was to many sundeas I think I went through 20 and I was only there for 10 minutes. Plus it takes a lot outta me to get there many heals and pure waters were used.
So I'm going to head back to victoria and get those 3 levels before heading back to them zombies again. Plus I still need to fight mushmom to get the heart earrings.
Oh yeah and I got a whip today while training to, I going to sell it once see a nice offer for one during me many travels.
Ok I'm done mapling till late tonight, it's not the start of user spike time so for the next 8 -10 hours I'm going to stay away. Best times for me to train are when the user rate is low.

*sigh* Some days you just can't level. For some reason even the thought of leveling makes me sleepy, and being sleepy and trying to level means bad thing happen like not noticing magic gaurd has run out and now four DSGs are turning you in to a ghost.
The only thing I did today was find that stupid ancient scroll which made me think I could get my skull earrings. But no I forgot I needed a star rock, so that pissed me off because I my BC ores for my glove upgrade. All in all I got my earrings and I'm somewhat happier. (They just look so nice)
I'm also deciding if I want to max MP Eater now, or continue with Invincible. I'm more on the mp eater side right now since I do get hit a lot and that mp would be nice. But take less damage is also good. Who knows once I get my to my next level I'll decide.
I was also able to find someone sell a 60% cape hp scroll which I had to buy because I want to have only hp capes. So far it has had 2 60% work and one 10% fail, so that gives me a +20 hp boost. And the cape paired with me circlet(+40 hp) give me a +60hp boost, and that makes a very large difference while I'm training.
Also I've noticed I never put that comments are ok, and well you can comment if you'd like.

Wow, you're such an inspiration to the lower lvl-ed clerics ^^;
Im currently a cleric at lvl 37... and I just want to give up because everything gets so repetative, kill, kill, quest, kill, level, start over.
MP Eater would be good to max because of the MP drainage you're experiancing, buying the MP pots can cost quite a pretty penny.
It was so lucky of you to get that drop of the Golden Circlet on your first kill. xD; I was trying to get a Dark Moonlight also, but there were no sellers and I cant hit Crocos properly yet x_x; Im saving my SP from Heal because I'm scared of the huge impact it would take on my MP once its started eating away 24MP per heal, and since I dont train or Zombies, Wraiths or Jr. Wraiths, do you think I should keep on saving until lvl 40?
You've made it so far already, I'm sure you can lvl up even higher and get all the items you'd like. And by the way, you can take on Wraiths at lvl 38? o_o;
