If any of your concerns/worries/personal deluges/hurricanes are not addressed here, drop a line and ask. I don't bite. (:

Things You Should Do & Things That Will Happen If You Do Things You Shouldn't
Revised as of November 2, 2008

1; Read. Reading things such as newspaper articles, short stories, poems, and novels expand your vocabulary; believe it or not, your grasp of English grammar begins with, yes, you heard me right, reading.

2; Write often. Throw your inner editor out the window and punch the keys daily. It seriously helps. Really.

3; Everything is salvageable at some point. Don't give up!

4; To err is human / Remember to double-check, triple-check, whatever-check, what you've written before you send it off to your proofreader/beta. It feels nice when your beta has only few nitpicks and none of them correlate to your spelling / grammar.

5; Research. Most of the time, we write about things we clearly don't know about, such as rape, medieval torture, and historical events. Google is your friend, and so are the countless resources that you have at your disposal at a library/bookstore.

More to be added. <3

My English Teacher Rocks.
We cover Grammar.

see what i mean sad my spelling sucks, as does my grammer. Stupid grammer movement.

Does anyone else find it humurous that some one hated grammer so much that they devoted a large section of their lives to taking it out of our schools?

Essays aren't fun, but they help a lot. So does the dumb stuff. o_o

I mean, you have to know the basics before you learn about style and such other things. When I was on the eighth grade, I remember our teacher emphasized that so much. She also forced all of the students to speak in English (they were pissed).

At one point, though, I thought it was pretty stupid because I thought I knew everything about grammar and shouldn't be forced to learn it.
