ever seen a green day tv reference? here are a few i've seen.
on nick noggin, there's a show called instant star. it's about a girl who won a contest similar to american idol. they were talking to her about a record deal and the woman said, "we're going to pair you up with one of the best producers/songwriters in the business." and her friend replied, "billie joe from green day?"
another time, on techtv on the show called x-play, there was a video game review for...i forget, but they showed a clip of a villain leaping forward yelling, "welcome to paradise!" and one of the hosts shrugged and said, "i didn't know he was a green day fan."

Didn't see the instant star one but I saw the X Play one. Hum... They played Waiting in an episode of O'Grady. They have a International Superhits poster on the wall of Sabrina's work in later episodes of Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. An add for O'Grady talked about Billie Joe, saying they heard he had nice skin or something. Also on Sabrina, a co-worker was in a band that opened for Green Day. Only in the show though. That was a weird episode. I think it was the first one I noticed the IS poster too. 'Twas crazy. I was so hyper when I saw those episodes of Sabrina. Don't ask why. And the O'Grady thing. And the X-Play thing...

They had the song for warning on this picture printer commercial. I hate how they were abusing that song for a bald guy putting photos over his head -_-

I don't know if this counts, but on Boy Meets World, Topanga said "I'm your WIFE, nimrod!" to Cory.

I HATE NICK NOGGIN PERIOD! I never noticed, but I was watching that episode with Tre when I was about 8 or 9 and all I remembered was...an outlet and plugs jammed into it and Tre's Character (blanking out, so I can't remember) got Hank pissed off and yeah....lol Hank's all, "Doesn't your father know about this?" and Tre's character (I think his name was Kane Skeeterburg)goes, "My dad is dead." and Hanks goes, "Oh, well how about your mom?" and Tre goes, "My mom's in jail for killing my dad"

[Green] They had the song for warning on this picture printer commercial.I hate how they were abusing that song for a bald guy putting photos over his head -_- Um, it's not Warning. Sounds like it, but it's like, "Take a picture of your mama" and all that crap. The intro sounds like it.

Kypuu VH1 I love the 90s-94. They were talking about Woodstock(with the mudslinging) LOL! And Billie Joe goes, "It's poo poo, it's caa caa, it's s**t, s**t!" something like that! And for the '95 episode, Liz Phair considers Billie Joe as a kinda punk rocker...
