The cloaked figure stood on the very top of the Twilight Town clocktower, watching over the empty streets and alleys, as if waiting for something. The long hand on the clocktower shifted a little towards the XII. Soon it would be 12:00, though the sun would not move. A movement in a street below caught his eye, and it darted from corner to corner, until it reached the town's battle square. The black shape stopped and stood still in the center of the square, suddenly looking up at the man on the clocktower. He pulled out his weapon, a double-sided axe, and jumped off the tower, the wind removing his hood. The face of the man was set in stone concentration; his bright green eyes staring forward at the shadow; his long silver hair billowing behind him. When he was 25 feet from the gorund, the shadowy figure leapt at the green-eyed man, drawing his weapon, a black and purple staff that eminated a dark aura. As the two met, the shadow swung his staff at Xurik, the silver-haired man. The staff missed Xurik's face, and cut off a lock of his hair. Xurik landed on the ground and gazed at the advancing airbourne shadow, as it descended on Xurik with increasing velocity...

Well, I can't take part. I haven't even played KHII yet, let alone beat the first one.

"Ven. wake up."
"Hrrng...whu...?"
"Shh. open your eyes."
Ven opened his eyes. His vision was hazy at first, but focused after a while. He was gazing straight up at a blue haired, cerulean-eyed girl with soft facial features. He looked at her and backed up against his headboard. "Wh-who are you?"
"You really have forgotten." She looked back at him and grabbed his hands, lifting them up to eye level. "You don't look any different, Ven." Ven looked at her with a quizzical look.
"What-what do you mean? I'm not Ven. I'm Roxas." He stood up and backed towards the door slowly, his hands groping for something behind him.
"Please," she ran towards him and pushed him against the wall, "don't leave, yet. I came to make sure you were okay, to make sure you didn't forget. But you have, and you need to remember. Okay?" She said it with an intimidating intensity, and Ven eased onto the floor.
"Well, okay....Tell me. What did I forget?" Ven shifted.
"My name is Aqua. I was born somewhere far away from here. You, Ven...you were born a year ago."


Update: The beginning passage does not have any significance to the story yet, so if you think about RPing with it, don't until I give notice. This passage is loosely based on information from the promo showing vid in Japan. There were several sentences in there hinting at the mysteries of Roxas' birth.

Terra was crouched nearby, leaning back on the wall near the door of the small room. He unfolded himself, taking his huge sword from his lap, and blocked the door, though clearly Aqua had 'Ven' handled. "Roxas?" He asked incredulously. "Roxas? Ven, come on. We don't have time for this."
